#I’m reading volumes 14-16 of the ouran manga OOUGHHH MY HEART #I love this weird little friend group so much its unreal #like u have this charming sweeps you off your feet prince but he’s actually a huge lovable idiot with a kind heart and his friends #who are all misfits that he reached out to and drew in because of his kindness and own weirdness like that shits TIGHT BRO #and the trauma part where he has some deep seated issues with love bc he thinks that itll break a family apart like with his mom #how his family isnt allowed to be together because his mom and dad fell in love and how he says he wants to build a big house #so that way one day everyone will get along as a family like. all he wants is not to lose everyone and the only way to do that is #by maintaining a certain order.. he both wants a complete family so bad and doesnt want anything to sour between anyone #so he assigns each of his friends a family role based on how he sees them and YEAH its mostly played for giggles and tamakis #already weird so its his way of showing theyre close to him but. god damn this boy has LAYERS #it also feels kinda meta towards how found family tends to get thrown around to assign characters as 'siblings' or family roles instead of #using it to describe characters who are close enough to be each others family. cuz tamakis doing that EXACT THING in a way tht #ties in with his character and i have to say its fascinating using that within the story itself and its completely plausible #theres a lot of things i can say about ouran that are good bad and questionable but. god i love it when characters are niceys to each other #i remember i really liked the kyoya episode bc him and haruhi got to spend time together and their relationship isnt very close #but it was really nice to see their personalities bounce off each other. i think i also wouldve liked to see haruhi alone with kaoru #i also firmly believe all of the hosts are at least a little in love with haruhi and this can be anything like endearing romantic cuz like #who DOESNT love haruhi. kyoya i think would want to study her under a microscope like his fascination with her draws him in #but im fucking obsessed with whatever haruhi and tamaki have going on because YES hes obsessed with her YES he jumps at the chance to #put her in a cute costume but haruhi? she just fucking goes with it because she knows hes fun to be around even if hes a little wacky abt i #theyre all so. Water Way Apartments

Two complexes with multiple units in each!! Kinda furnished only basics so you can fancy it up with your own things, choose whichever unit you like and make it your own :) or you could even make a household and have them live in all the units!!

Top floor apartment units have 1 bd 1 ba, ground floor apartments have 1 bd 1ba, and the basement units are 1 bd 2 ba :) the size is 20 x 15 and i put it on the water tower way lot in copperdale !! and its no cc :) it uses some packs but its mostly basegame

Thinking about Battinson slowly starting to step out more in his Bruce mask, courtesy of realizing the city needs more than what he had been offering her, getting back to Mayor Réal about what he could do, etc., and as such... kicking off that verse's version of Wayne being the Damsel In Distress Du Jour and needing to LET himself be rescued by the GCPD on occasion.

Already got the outside of my apartment building done so im ready for tomorrow

Since we already know we're gonna have cheats to expand the number of units on one lot it has 8 units instead of 6

I'm basing it off luxury townhouses you'd find in New York

4 of them are gonna be occupied by sim families i make and are gonna be super personalized for those sims while the other 4 are gonna be more basic and just have random families

Right now I have it on the 64x64 lot in del sol Valley but I might move it somewhere else. Havent decided yet. Initially when I thought "luxury townhouses" I picture something in LA but as I've been building, the style fits the new England area better sooooo....not sure which sim world with a 64x64 would work for that. I think the park in San myshuno is 64x64 so I might put it there but the style could maybe fit in windenburg....but the area that the windenburg 64x64 lot is in doesn't really work for apartments.

#i am excite #havent had the drive to build in awhile #or play sims at all for that matter #but my favorite kind of build is back #and i feel like ive improved my apartment building skills #like its still kind of a big box like in sims 2 #but its not an ugly box #thats also just partly cuz build mode in sims 4 is so much better #i loved sims 2. but build mode in that game sucked lol #the only thing it had over sims 4 was you could build apartments if you had the apartment life pack #and also terrain tools were a little easier to use in my opinion #but ive gotten the hang of sims 4 terrain tools #and now we're getting an apartment pack #actually thought of something else i preferred in sims 2 #being able to choose the bedding swatch and the bed frame swatch separately #or the upholstery swatch and the wood/metal swatches on the couches or chairs #that was nice

#doodle #vent art #this is like. half vent half shitpost #i had a Day today #we were on a STREAK of cleaning HORRIBLE rooms all morning. just absolutely trashed. each one took forever to clean #in one of the rooms i had to douse like half of the couch in stain remover bc their baby spit up ALL over it & they just. didnt clean it up #and they were all changeovers that we needed done Today #after we finished the ones in the north building we decided to strip linens & grab garbage from a non-changeover room #(bear in mind the rooms where i work are basically like full 2bed 2bath apartments) #and right when we walked in we were greeted with a crib and a SHITLOAD of ripped-up paper all over the floor #like. it was EVERYWHERE. master bed & bath looked ok but the entire rest of the suite was TRASHED #once i recovered from the initial shock of seeing that this was the first thought that popped into my brain #friendly reminder to be nice to cleaning staff. this stuff can be HARD especially during tourist season #ace screams into the void

37. Toucan - Arthur

This one was pretty tough! A couple of the bubbles comprising his head popped while I was working on him, but I'm proud to say that I was able to get in there and replace them. The final product has one small issue, which is that a pinch twist at the top of his left wing deflated a bit. By the time this happened and I noticed it, I would have had to dismantle both wings to fix it, so I didn't! Luckily, it's only visible from one side, so I just didn't take any pictures of that side. In spite of that one detail, I'm very pleased with how this came out! The base that the yellow ring is supported by was improvised on the spot. The tutorial I was following constructed a base with small round balloons, but I don't have any of those. I could probably refine the base if I iterated the process, but I'm satisfied with what I came up with in the end. It does a fine job of keeping the sculpture upright, after all. In general, I'm extremely proud to have completed this build!

38. Pteranodon - Terry

I originally planned to be done after finishing that toucan, but a friend made a comment about how I should have named him Terry, and that inspired me to make something else to carry that name. For a quick and dirty build, done on a whim because of an offhanded comment, I'm really happy with this! I chose to use three different colors (four, if you count the white balloon used for the eyes) mostly because I didn't want to run out of one particular color too quickly. I figure that since it's unclear exactly what dinosaurs looked like, it's fine for me to take some creative liberties in depicting them. That said, for a decision as thoughtless as that one, the resulting aesthetic is nicer than I had expected. I've made a dinosaur that looks like a sunset! I hope that all of the impulsive decisions I will inevitably make end up being this visually appealing.

#balloon art #I'm so happy with what I did today #this toucan is so big! easily the largest build so far #I was interrupted a couple times while putting him together #and I'll admit that the second time one of the bubbles popped I got scared that the whole thing would fall apart #the fact that I was able to hold it together and replace those bubbles makes me very happy #I don't expect Arthur to age gracefully #the replacements put even more stress on some load-bearing pinch twists #and the fact that one pinch twist has already deflated to less than half of its original size doesn't inspire confidence #but by now everything I made before yesterday has deflated significantly #and I don't mind too much if things fall apart a few days after they're made #they're not meant to last forever #and I take pictures of them for this reason #but it's a bit of a bummer in the case of Arthur #because as he is right now #he makes quite a nice piece of decoration in my living room #but we'll see how long that lasts ^^
