My local queer bookstore is being threatened with eviction over their free narcan and fentanyl test strips, free store for the unhoused, and free narcan trainings.

Bluestockings is an incredible worker-owned community space that has been apart of the Lower East Side for 25 years. But in the last couple years, they've faced increasing harassment from the wealthier neighbors moving in and complaining about the presence of unhoused people around their store front. Despite all their community work being allowed by their lease, the landlord is pushing for an eviction.

Please help support Bluestockings! Visit them (if you're local), order books online, donate! We need more queer and community-oriented spaces, not another overpriced coffee shop or chain franchise.

A black trans woman was on her way to a gender affirming care appointment when her at the time boyfriend pushed her onto the subway tracks. She has had the lower parts of both her legs amputated.

Hi I have applied to so many jobs & done so many interviews but still have not gotten hired!! I don’t have much past work experience because of disability & thats making it so hard to get hired now. Being trans also complicates it. I am completely out of savings and can’t get things like groceries, subway fare, or household cleaning supplies.

If anyone can help out, trust me it is so so so appreciated. Especially rn as I try to get on food stamps. I've lost 15% of my body weight from being unemployed & broke the past year. I'd worked so, so hard to put that weight on and having to watch myself waste away is more devastating than I know how to express. Every cent towards a meal helps.

while organizers have encouraged people to not mask at the action in DC tomorrow, I would highly encourage/recommend anyone going to wear a high quality face respirator (such as an N95/KN95) as it protects against covid and the surveillance state. additional steps you can take are wearing dark nondescript clothing w/o logos (or covering up any identifying information), covering up tattoos, keeping your phone off during the protest, making sure you don't post photos where people's faces are visible (or covering/blurring them out), etc. we need to be vigilant about protecting each other before/during/after actions and that includes both protection against surveillance and the ongoing pandemic. my friend Reina's written several good articles on protest safety and the surveillance state that I recommend folks read!

I work with children as a Speech and Language Pathologist, and will need to take off a minimum of 4 weeks of work for recovery due to the nature physical, emotional, and mental nature of my job. I have been continuously in contact with insurance, and his fundraiser is to cover what they will not. My job does not offer any medical leave benefits, and so I am effectively out of work for my recovery period. These funds will go towards things that will not be covered, such as post-op supplies, medication, out-of-network medical costs, and living expenses (rent, bills, groceries). I am ecstatic that my intake and consultation have been scheduled. It's unbelievable that my journey to medically transition has finally started - however, the financial burden is daunting and that's why I am turning to the community for support. I've been hearing some problematic things about UNRWA, and Save the Children seems to be doing very little (as far as I am informed). I donate to PCRF and MAP, but don't know any other, smaller orgs that may also need more awareness? Thanks ♥

hello, thanks for sending this in. so i've been trying to find smaller orgs for palestine that are specifically for helping gaza, but the issue is not much aid is being let in. PCRF is a really good org in my opinion, I'd always donate to them regardless.

There's also the Palestine Museum, which does really great cultural preservation work.

Palestine Legal is a legal aid group that helps palestinian and palestinian advocacy facing legal challenges.

Palestine Action is a direct action group that helps do disruptive protests.

Samidoun helps palestinian prisioners around the world and keeps and eye on them.

Within Our Lifetime is an NYC based palestinian led organization.

Palestinian Youth Movement is a favorite for Turtle Island led Palestinian resistance.

Palestine Feminist Collective is a Turtle Island feminist movement that works to spread culture and information.

Good Shephard Collective seems to be doing good work in Bethlehem as well.

I would mostly look for mutual aid groups for people from Gaza if you want to donate to them. Aya Ghanamah retweets mutual aid groups a lot.

I might share more groups in a second reblog after I hear back on best ways to help them.
