I wish Mutsu+Kagura interacted more in the series... my hc is that  Kagura hung out with Mutsu a lot during her time in space and learned more about yato stuff from her. Their dads knew each other too so it would've been cool if they met when they were younger as well

Sakamoto has so much energy to spare that he genuinely forgets how to calm down sometimes which is why he attracts people who are lower energy. Takasugi, Katsura and Gintoki all knew how to chill in the past and their influence would bring Sakamoto down to a lull but these days it's Mutsu who does it instead, though nowhere near as efficiently as when Takasugi is around

sakamutsu headcanons 5

First to wake up: Mutsu. She likes to keep up with her duties and so wakes up early to get more work done. Sakamoto is a slob so he likes to sleep in. He does get upset that Mutsu is leaving and he would nag for her to get back in because 'the bed is cold". Sakamoto is also extremely shocked at how he and Mutsu can have a go at it all night and Mutsu can still wake up early, but that's because she is a yato and can recover quickly from tiredness and 'pain'. Except he doesn't know that, so he is always surprised and always wondering how she does it.

First to fall asleep: Mutsu. Because of her schedules, and her need to wake up early, she has forced herself into a habit to fall asleep quicker. Sakamoto stays up late because he sleeps during the day. He likes to watch Mutsu sleep because it's cute.

The affectionate one: Definitely Sakamoto. Sometimes his affections are overbearing and Mutsu just tries to get away from his cuddles, coos and kisses. He never fails to tell her how much he loves her. Mutsu is more private about expressing her love for him.

The overprotective one: Mutsu. She took a bullet for him twice. She also gets really jealous when other girls come up to him, but she hides her jealousy really well.

The money savvy one: For making money, Sakamoto. For saving money, Mutsu. Without Mutsu, it doesn't matter how much money Sakamoto earns, he'd end up losing it all.
