I write on Discord (primarily) or through Tumblr messages. I do like to stay on Tumblr for plotting and only hand out my Discord when I know we'll be doing something together. I write in third person, past tense and like my writing partners to at least match the third person. I typically write 2-4 paragraphs. Sometimes more, if I'm feeling really inspired. Hardly ever less. Daily replies won't happen because I work full-time during the week. I tend to get them out within 2-3 days.

I'm for the most part only interested in canon x canon pairings. MxM is my preference. I'll only take on a very limited amount of MxF (with me as the male, as I don't have any female muses I write from the Marvel universe). I might be able to be talked into some canon x OC threads but only MxM for those. I like canon and canon divergent plots. No AUs that are way out there and don't make sense in the context of the Marvel universe. I lean towards romantic pairings and like writing NSFW/smut. 21+. She/Her. EST (GMT-5). I like to write on Discord or through Tumblr messages. I like to stick to Tumblr for plotting. I write in third person, past tense and around 2-4 paragraphs. I can't guarantee daily replies, but I do try to get them out as soon as I can, which is usually within 2-3 days. I like communicative writing partners who can generally match that reply time.

I'm open to MxM, FxF, or MxF ships and prefer writing with people who don't just do MxF because I like to have a variety of potential ships to discuss. I'm only looking for canon x canon pairings right now. I like canon or canon divergent plots the most. No AUs that are way out there. I lean towards romantic ships and writing smut (but with a decent amount of plot).

you’re given the chance to give up your abilities. do you?

No.

 you’re given the chance to change your power set, losing whatever you previously had. what or whose do you choose, if any?

 I wouldn’t trade. What sort of questions are these? If for whatever reason I had to change my powers, I’d pick Valkyrie’s as long as I get the portal-pony.

 are there any abilities you would like in addition to your own?

I don’t think there’s any weakness or flaw in my powers that would warrant me wanting additional abilities. Though, wielding Mjölnir would be amazing. 

how competent do you feel with your abilities?

Very.

do you, or have you ever, wish you had never gotten the abilities you have?

No, though I’ve wished I’d gotten them some other way. Mar-Vell dying, getting irradiated by Tesseract energy, and brainwashed for 6 years leaves a lot to be desired.

what is the best part of having the abilities that you do?

I can go anywhere; to the bottom of the ocean, or out into the void of space. Sometimes I just sit on Europa and admire Jupiter. 

what is the worst part of having the abilities that you do?

The pressure of expectation is a lot. Everyone’s counting on you, and you just can’t be everywhere at once. There’s too much ground to cover, and not enough time.

have there been any unexpected side effects of your abilities, good or bad? 

I tend to glow when I’m using my powers, which makes stealth missions interesting.

are there any mundane things your abilities have made easier (e.g. opening jars)?

A lot of things actually became easier, but the one that stands out in my mind is boiling water. It’s great not having to wait for the kettle.   

are there any mundane things your abilities have made more difficult?

I broke a lot of things on Hala when I was learning how to control my strength, but I don’t think there’s a specific task that they’ve made more difficult. You just adapt as you learn.

are there any aspects of your abilities that you would never use?

No, I’ll use every advantage and ability I have.

when you got your abilities, did you know how to use them immediately, or did it take practice?

I trained for six years with the Kree in regards to some of my abilities. When I freed myself from the Supreme Intelligence’s control, I learnt on the fly. I caught on pretty quick, but I still practised afterwards. Honestly, I’m lucky I didn’t just die by accident.  

have you had any accidents with your powers, minor or major?

Whenever I shot Yon-Rogg with a photon blast on Hala, those were accidents. Can’t say it was an accident when I shot him on Earth.

 is there anything you would change about your abilities?

Nope.

have you ever used your abilities to do something immoral or illegal?

No one needs to know what I did for the Kree.

Legality completely depends on what sector you’re in, the planet you’re on, or the station you’re visiting. For example, using my abilities to supercharge an M-920 Cain for Rocket to test fire at an asteroid – would be illegal in Earth’s system for a whole slew of reasons.

So we didn’t test it here.

Kylo Ren and Yon-Rogg parallels

Stars above don’t give me hate for this Couldn’t help but notice some interesting parallels between how Kylo Ren and Yon-Rogg interact with Rey and Carol/Vers. 

Telling their heroine to let the past go, that it’s holding them back in some way: 

"You've got to let go of the past. It's causing you to doubt and doubt makes you vulnerable." - Yon-Rogg

"Let the past die, kill it if you have to. That's the only way you can become who you were meant to be." - Kylo Ren 

Declaring that their heroines are strong:

Of course she couldn’t sleep, there rarely was a time she did sleep through the night, and even then? Those times were far and few in-between. If anything, there was perhaps a need to reveal a slight amount of truth or assurances to her, but it wouldn’t go over well. 

No, the best he could do was stay the course. Train her, help her get through the rough patches, and hope she was ready. It was all he truly could do anymore - besides attempting to ensure controlled herself... if that was even possible.

“Nightmares again?” A simple daily routine of asking the same question over and over. Hoping that one day he’d get a response that wasn’t the same, but knowing ( for the most part ) that it would most likely be on  repeat for quite some time.. “Or did you miss me that much?”

My usual response time is ~2-3 days. I like communicative writing partners. That means, when we're plotting, I'd like to hear back within 2-3 days so plotting doesn't take weeks to do. When writing, I'm fine with as little as one reply a week. Ideal wait time, though, is no more than 3-5 days. If it's going to take you longer to get back to me, please let me know. I'll do the same.

I'm mostly interested in canon x canon pairings (MxM or MxF). I might be talked into some canon x OC ones (MxM only). I like canon or canon divergent plots the most or straying off the path with our own unique plots that still fit well within the Marvel universe. I lean towards romantic ships and writing smut. Those aren't requirements, however. If we keep things clean, I'm okay with writing with 18+. If you'd like smut, please be 21+.
