real talk, though.

if vision quest is about white vision regaining his memories. even if she's dead, wanda should be in that.

you can't give me wandavision and then pretend that vision's memories wouldn't largely involve wanda. or you can, but then that would carry a through line of wanda caring more about vision than he does about her (or, at least, that his priorities were/are different - which you can support with infinity war and his decision to go jump into battle and leave wanda once he noticed the avengers needed his help). and regardless, she would and should still be part of those memories.

that would be the best place to confirm or deny what the mcu official timeline is speculating re: wanda's death because a white vision who truly regained his memories would also probably seek her out, depending on how he relates to those memories, even if he doesn't accept them into who he is or decides to be.

Wanda moved to wrap her arms around Eddie’s waist, not saying a word. Instead, her face buried into his back, her eyes closed

Although his brow stitched into an inquisitive not-quite-frown, Eddie responded more demonstratively to Wanda's silent affection by bringing his arms up and settling his hands about her wrists, then his forearms atop hers, as if to tug her embrace more tightly about himself... or simply to hold it secure.

"Hey babe," he murmurs, turning over one shoulder to glance at her through his periphery. He knew better than to ask if she was okay. When she sought contact like this, there was usually a reason... and this was one of her favorite methods to soothe herself.

So instead of peppering her with interrogatories, he simply offered his support.

"I'm right here. Not goin' anywhere."

His mom, Lorna and others are constantly bringing up Wanda, which Peter doesn't handle well (as his way of dealing with it is different from theirs), but he manages to keep it together in front of them. Back in the darkened room Peter looks around at trophies he's won with Wanda, things they've crafted, souvenirs of their exploits, photos of their mundane adventures. The room is getting darker, the surroundings are swallowed by blackness and there he sees Wanda, transparent and out of reach.

Peter imagining confessing all the stupid things he did, including seeking contact with their mutant supremacist of a father and nearly getting killed as a result. Imaginary Wanda gives a little, non-judgemental smile and reaches out to hold his cheek.
