My Yuichi Usagi headcannons but also hear me out

There's no way that Yuichi Usagi is good with humor or catchphrases, I think he fumbles clumsily, but it's endearing and quite embarrassing on his part (Episode 1 in Samurai Chronicles btw I wanna share this for a long time)

At least Leo's good AND bad with freaking puns, but this Usagi is that type of lil guy who creates his own fanfiction of how cool he is-- LITERALLY that awkward vibes from him, because that's how I go through when I was younger-

and headcannon, if Yuichi Usagi visits the Philippines, he'll eat Milo powder in secret, and Gen knew.

Another headcannon is that, Yuichi does pay attention, but his mind is empty 24/7 and will forget some things, but remember some things so whenever Chizu was all like "Hey, are you listening?" And Usagi is like "Yeah! :D"

Usagi is sensitive at times. Or easily gets upset.

Usagi can get serious at times mostly in fights.

Another idea it comes to planning, it'll either take long or his plans were a little flimsy or pretty bad.

After Dark - Haruki Murukami

I very much enjoyed this novel. I love Murukami for his explantion of the seemingly mundane, I believe that this specific book is a masterwork when it comes to slice of life fiction. We explore the night life of metropolitan Tokyo through the eyes of Mari a 19 year old student studying Chinese philology. We follow Mari as she explores the streets meeting a range of characters, all with unique lifestyles and philosophies. The narrative is also presented to us in near real time, and we see a clock tracking the time of the night at the start of each chapter. This helps to bolster the belief in the world, and thus the realism of the story. Murakami as always creates wonderfully philosophical characters and moments out of the everyday.

Three hours slipped by like a wraith watching this gorgeous meditation on loss. So beautiful visually, so intelligent and trusting of the viewer. Requiring patience, attention, but repaying it over and again with its interlocking, overlapping tales. So beautiful it almost felt too short, which I never feel about a film of this length. Used a Murukami short story as it's leaping off point but went its own way in expanding and growing it. Confident, assured, wise.
