had a weirdass dream dont remember half of it but i went to see gotg3 then i was at some gorillaz event but everyone was late to meet the band (the drawn guys) it was just me and my friend (dont even know who it was) that got to hang out with them for a bit and then i got to chill with murdoc and we went to like a haunted house of sorts that had fnaf stuff in it and then something messed up and we had to find someone. and that someone was cecil wtnv??? and it came full circle cuz meeting cecil was actually in gotg and i was telling everone how amazing of a reference it was cuz wtnv has been going on for a decade

(If Ur interested into money or anthropology I can't recommend his book debt the first 500 years enough my dyke primary school tea her gave it to me to read when I way ahead in maths and i used it years later to radicalise half my econ class

6. currently watching:

rewatching mtvs faking the messiest dyke drama ever. It's definitely camp and it's kinda self aware bur it's also horrible no good. It's what the Twitter gays wished dear Evan hasten was like watch the first episode (it's only 20min) and if knowing what they are faking it's not hilarious and heart breaking stop your gonna hate the show if not you've got your new favourite trash show.

New show is season 3 of chucky which only has half a season airing cause of the strikes so I'm trying to stretch it out but I will say jennifer tilly is a delight as always.

norco chocolate milk its 2am my last meal was went I went down to the river to read and got a blue cheese woodfire pizza

my hot tub but I'm still waiting on my pool filters its been 30c (86f) the last 4 days I've been home and I got heatstroke on Sunday on the 10min walk to the river and fainted + threw up which wasn't sexy rip

As 2-D had started the movie , you were already tucked right in snugly on the couch , the two of you sharing the blanket. It wasn’t supposed to get too intimate , he had stated earlier, but here you were. Beside the man himself.

It was just the two of you in the house , Russ and Murdoc and Noodle out for a night out of their own. Russ , overheard 2-D about your plans together earlier in the day, had made some popcorn. And of course, the two of you dug in! The sweet and saltiness of said popcorn really contrasted against the gory and the horrifying film playing.

Stu had managed to have the tv to just the two of you , had the mood set , and even managed to drive Murdoc out of Kong for once. As the movie continued , which was Dawn of the Dead , the two of you had cleaned the popcorn clean , and soon , he and you had found yourself… snuggling.

If it isn’t textbook intimacy , what is?

As the movie started to get tense , you had yourself quite scared now. You were holding onto him as if your life would be ended by zombies if you even had the thought of letting go. 2-D, on the other hand , was utterly flustered. He loved you , he absolutely , utterly , positively loved you. But he’s never had the guts to admit it out loud.

It just seemed like the perfect time…

2-D was just about to , he really did, and maybe he could just confess a little. Starting off slow , with a hand over your shoulder. It was so him , you thought less of it. Until he leaned his head on your shoulder.

You almost knew , that he was letting his heart open for you to hear.

“…H-Hey, Y/N…?”

“What is it, Dee? Do you want to… tell me something…?”

He was just about to , almost.

“L-Listen, Y/N you might think I’m crazy,” he said, and he tugged on the collar of his shirt he was wearing. Nobody was really watching the movie anymore, no?. “…I-I just… I just wanted to say that I—“

As soon he just wanted to say what he wanted to say , a car pulled onto the garage.

Home already? He thought that the rest wouldn’t come home so soon, he barely just started!

The two of you looking back behind at the garage door , there comes in a shit-pissed drunk Murdoc , a sleeping Noodle nested in Russ’ arms , and an annoyed Russel.

Damn it , he thought , he was supposed to enjoy the whole night just with you!

After an argument started to boil against you and Murdoc (as he thought you were a hobo that 2-D brought home) , Russ advised that the night be cut a little short. And you seemed to agree; something must’ve happened , and it needs to be dealt with the band members themselves.

As 2-D had gotten you a cab home that he had pre-paid for , he tries to talk again , what he was trying to say to you earlier.

“S-So, about… about what I was going to say..”

yet you have a feeling that you already knew what he was about to say.

“It’s okay, Dee. I.. enjoyed spending time with you, a-and…”

“I love you back.”

Blue Hair- I feel like this song has them sort of taking turns singing, because its from their different perspectives at different times. Like,”There's really no way of winning / If in their eyes you'll always be a dumb blonde” is about 2D because he’s seen as the sort of brainless pretty boy front man of the band, and “And she cried over nothing, so there was nothing I could do to stop / Her from cutting her beautiful blue hair off” is about Charlie, and I mainly imagine this to take place during Phase 3, so at the end with the lyrics “Last I heard she was living with a boy who acts his age / And I guess I'll just miss her even though she isn't even really gone / But things are just different ever since she cut her blue hair off” is about both of them after leaving Plastic Beach and finding each other and the rest of the band and living together in the house on Wobble Street in DoYaThing (i explained this a lot better in this post :P also special thanks to the anon that introduced me to this song :D)

How Long?- This is from the perspective of 2D, and its mainly the chorus I attribute to their relationship, again on Plastic Beach (”How long 'til we sink to the bottom of the sea? How long, how long? / How long 'til we sink and it's only you and me? How long, how long?”)

On Melancholy Hill- OF COURSE im going to be putting Plastic Beach songs in the playlist!!! This song is one of my absolute favorites, and it’s perfect for encapsulating 2D’s feelings for Charlie, especially during Phase 3. Also i kind of think of the manatee in both the song and the music video being representative of Charlie’s happiness (in the events of Plastic Beach Charlie basically adopts it and its sort of the opposite of the 2D’s whale, in which it brings her happiness while the whale scares 2D), and it being stolen by the Boogieman in the music video is representative of how Murdoc put her in a bad place along with the rest of the band because of everything on Plastic Beach.

To Binge- A beautiful duet between 2D and Charlie, with Charlie dealing with all of these feelings (being kidnapped and stuck on and island made of plastic and trash, having been held captive prior and living in a submarine with the only sustenance being superfast jellyfish, missing Noodle and Russel and missing the friendship she had with Murdoc, and feeling that 2D is her only source of comfort and wondering what they really are relationship-wise), and 2D feeling miserable as well in these circumstances, and trying his best to help Charlie like shes helped him, and he confesses to her that he loves her so much!!!

A Thousand Miles- This song gives me so much nostalgia for when i first got into Gorillaz, and it makes me think about 2D and Charlie after the events of Plastic Beach when the whole band moves back in together in the 212 Wobble Street house. I feel like it’s the song that they would say is their song (bc it came out in 2010 and so its a couple years afterward in DoYaThing)

Flower Moon- Then this song is sort of describes whats happening during Phase 7, with Moon Flower and the Forever Cult, but its also Charlie and 2D. I honestly dont have that much of a reasoning for this song, it just makes me think of them.

Tarantula- This is my second fav song from Cracker Island, and its a love song!! It’s just a real sweet song that 2D sings about Charlie and theyre just so in love <333 I sort of think of this as 2D’s thoughts running through his head as hes being saved by the band from the Forever Cult and Charlie carries him out and they escape the hollywood sign, in a sort of alternate ending to the Silent Running music video. 2D is still drowsy from the drink that Moon Flower gave him and he’s just spilling his heart out to Charlie while theyre sitting in the hospital/police station.

oh my favorite to practice with the band was definitely that... gimme a second, the one that rattled my bones pretty good... LEFT HAND SUZUKI METHOD that's it. other than that I don't really play a whole lotta songs? not good anyway. I tried to get good at Gorillaz songs so yanno, if Murdoc ever got hurt, which, glad I did. but eh, my favorite one to listen to right NOW, is I got this CD by some guys who smash pumpkins or something (so I bet they're pretty cool) and my favorite one right now is Rocket. can't believe they made all those sounds with just PUMPKINS though...
