Not people talking about Carol adopting Kamala. Baby the Khan's adopted Carol if anything. They were literally helping Carol move house in the last scene. Carol was alone. And if anything Kamala has promised that she will be there for Carol from now on.
Muneeba didn't say she'll kill Carol, and Nakia didn't rant about white saviors for y'all to frame it as though Kamala needs Carol.

I love it when Carol is such a failmom. She tries to cook for Kamala one of her favourite traditional pakistani dishes and she burns down the entire house, she sets alarms for adhaan time to remind kamala -who always depended on her family to tell her- but she sets them on the wrong region, she’s the one supposed to drive Kamala to school everyday but she doesn’t know directions very well and barely know how to drive a car because she said and I quote flying is just easier and Kamala comes late almost everyday. After considerable amount of time, Kamala learned to depend on herself and not like how she did with muneeba, but she still thinks of carol’s incompetence as cute and adorable. Nakia is seething like a dragon in the background.

I need to know the story behind Kamala and her family traveling all the way to Louisiana to help Carol move. I think I see Kamala's parents asking Carol if she's happy to be able move back to earth and be closer to her biological family and Carol explaining that she doesn't have any (that she's close to or that care for her and that the Rambeaus became her family). And Muneeba and Yusuf immediately saying that they'll help her move, settle in and clean out the house. And that it's no trouble at all. Everybody needs a family that has their back. I mean that last scene was just cinematic genius bc it just beat that white savior trope. I need to know more. And I love that Carol isn't alone. This wasn't something I saw coming.
