"What did you want to talk about," The Slytherin asks boredly, pretending to find the quills on the table more interesting than you. "You're joking right," you ask in disbelief, "Stop acting so oblivious! What happened was a big deal, stop making it seem like it was nothing!" You're becoming increasingly frustrated with the boy, you've finally got your chance to talk to him but he refuses to touch the subject. In reality Jaemin knows it's a huge deal what happened, which is why he as avoiding you and the topic just like he has been since he started at his school. As a first year Hogwarts student, Jaemin was incredibly nervous. While his mom had told him many stories of her time at Hogwarts, being a Slytherin herself, there was still a major difference between the wizarding world he was thrown into compared to the muggle world where he grew up, where his dad was from. Those who weren't full-blooded Slytherins weren't unheard of but they were rare, and as the great battle got further and further into history they became more common. As a first year Jaemin had yet to experience any discrimination because of his blood, he adapted rather quickly to his new world and he made tons of friends his his own house as well as others. But it all started in his herbology class, that's when he first met you. You sat a couple rows in front of him surrounded by your Gryffindor friends, you never looked at Jaemin but he always looked at you. He was completely enamoured by you; you were beautiful, smart, and confident. So when you two got paired in the same group of four he couldn't be happier, though you two never actually spoke. Though one day he showed up a little earlier in class, only a couple other student lingered in the classroom, including you and your friend. He couldn't help but listen in on your conversation, especially hearing you both talk about the cutest 1st years in the school. "What about Na Jaemin?" you friend asks and Jaemin perks up hearing his name, heart pounding in anticipation. You make a face at your friend, "He's cute, but he's a half blood," you murmur leaning in closer to her, "Plus, he's a Slytherin. I would never be caught dead with someone like him".

Jaemin's heart breaks that day and a new hatred forms for you, but unfortunately for him, rather than replacing the adoration that was there, it instead lived alongside it. That's why when last year at a party he found himself between your legs, which then turned into an ongoing secret friends with benefits situation.

Your eyes widen and your mouth slightly opens in shock at the story Jaemin tells, you don't recall exactly what he was talking about but you don't doubt his words for a second. "Jaemin," you whisper out, "I accept that what I said was horrible and wrong, my first year I was naive and was completely brainwashed by everything my family had told me growing up. I had horrible views and beliefs and trust me I learned the hard way soon enough the truth about them. I'm not that naive little girl with corrupted thoughts anymore". "I'm sorry," you continue, "I'm truly sorry for those things I said back then I'm sorry for how much they hurt you. I just wish you would have confronted me about it sooner, especially when we started," you trail off, waving your hand, not sure how to word it correctly.

Jaemin merely stares at you with an unreadable expression, in fact he doesn't really know what to think himself. Did he really believe you still felt those things? Not really, he knew you changed in the past six years but what you said hurt younger Jaemin in a way he couldn't forget and he's held a grudge ever since. "Is that why," your gaze lingers on him sadly, "Is that why you've treated me so badly this whole time?" He nods, "Yeah, in my head you didn't want to be caught with a Slytherin, let alone me so I did what I had to do to make it secret and keep it purely sex". You frown at him, "You had to have known that wasn't true, Jaemin, I asked you so many times to hang out with me and you were the one to turn me down". You furrow your eyebrows further the more you think about it, "Even after all that, did you really think it was okay, the way you treated me?" Jaemin knows the way he treated you when you had sex was uncalled for, most of the time the two of you were together he didn't bother helping you, let alone talk to you afterwards, merely taking his stuff and leaving. "Of course not," he trails off. "Having sex with someone is really vulnerable," You point out and Jaemin interrupts, "I know, I'm sorry." he looks at you, "Then why did you stick around, after all this time?" he asks,

You look at him, lips twitching, "Because, I fell in love with you". Your confession made his ears ring and he swallows deeply as you speak again, "And you? Why did you agree to sleep with me knowing I said those horrible things about you?" He licks his lips. "Because I'm in love with you, and if I could only have you while having sex and nothing more, then I would take it".

You frown, "You know that's not all I wanted". He nods, "I know, but you don't understand how I felt about myself having what you said about me constantly in the back of my mind. I was new to this world and the first person I liked here was disgusted by me". You can't help the tears the start to sting your eyes, what a mess this whole situation is. "If can ever forgive me," you whisper, "If I can ever show you those words back then are not true, that it's not what I believe in the slightest, just know I would always want you. More than sex. As a friend, as a lover".

Jaemin takes in your face and his stomach fills with knots, "I know that, I truly do, it's just hard." You give him a small smile, "Then I will show you, if you'll let me." You take a step closer to the boy, "I don't want to be something you fear Jaemin, I don't want my words back then to affect how you feel about me or about yourself. Okay? Please just know that you are not defined by the words I made when I was eleven, how I feel about you is not defined by them."

Jaemin nods because he knows it's true, he knows how different everything is now but the words left a mark on him even till this day, but after truly confronting you about everything, he feels his shoulders become lighter. It's not completely healed, but it's a start and he knows he has some work to do too because of how he has treated you in the past year. With cautious steps, you walk to pull him into a hug, "I'll show you, okay?" you state before pulling away, turning to leave the room, sending him one more soft smile before taking your leave before he can see the tears that flow afterwards.

Since I've started writing instead of just reading the beautiful, enthralling, gravitational fics out there I thought I should introduce myself.

I'm studying at the moment, so will be a bit sporadic in my writing. I am trying to become a doctor, I love chocolate and my favourite element is water.

I was going through my files to see if there was anything that I might want to write/finish to celebrate. What I found was a collection of prompts I'd saved from the kink meme hosted on the now deleted ontd_pinto livejournal. I don't think I'll ever get around to writing any of these, but I thought it might be some fun nostalgia to share! Or hey, maybe it'll inspire someone else to write them?

(x) After Zach moves and/or cuts off their relationship or FWB arrangement, Chris is heartbroken and throws himself into work while he continues to nurse his love for Zach. He also meets and befriends his very first fag hag, who listens to him whine cry get mad, etc and she encourages him to cheer up and stick it out because she firmly believes Zach will realize how dumb he was and come back to him. Somehow Zach finds out that Chris is tight with this new girl…. Like someone mentions it to Zach or Chris himself mentions her to Zach offhandedly or something. Zach, having come back from New York now fears that he may have lost his chance with Chris. Misunderstandings and hurt feelings all over the place! Happy ending is a must!

The statement comes with an undercurrent of a question. “With a kiss,” Harry says, and God, he feels awkward and foolish and strangely enough like a pubescent teenager, feeling a strange swoop in his stomach the first time he realized Cho Chang was pretty. Not knowing what to do with his hands, he clenches and unclenches them on his lap. “We can work up to things, slowly.” “I’ve kissed guys before, Harry. We’ve already kissed,” she points out, her lips quirking up devilishly. “I’m well aware,” he says dryly. He doesn’t need the reminder; he’s had no issue remembering with all the ways that kiss has haunted his dreams, thank you very much. “I’ve done plenty of other things too, like—” “That’s—not the point,” Harry interrupts, not keen on hearing this a second time.

Hi! For the wip asks… i cant decide between fire alarm neighbors or Hogwarts university hook ups sooo… surprise me?

(Also mood about being behind for candy hearts me toooooo lol 😅)

I can just talk about both!

Fire alarm neighbors is pretty much what it says on the tin. It's a Jily Neighbors AU one-shot. The fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night, so they're all forced outside of the building. James does a lot of awkward pining, and Lily has a cat that did not want to cooperate when getting into the cat carrier.

Hogwarts University Hook Ups is a series of one-shots that I've been working on. It originally started with me wanting to write some Jily smut for a prompt list (found here). Then in typical me fashion, a plot started to form in my head, and now it's a series of several one-shots in a marauders college AU—some mostly smutty, some not smutty to throw in some plot. She could feel his eyes on her and wrapped an arm around the neck of the stranger dancing behind her and let him dance his mouth across the bare skin of her neck in response.

He didn’t own her.

As much as he thought he might.

It was only when she watched him finally leave with one of the woman he’d had coming on to him all night, that she realised the truth.

She didn’t own him either.

“What’s your problem Granger?”

She flicked her eyes up from the papers in front of her to meet his eye then returned her attention to them, ignoring him and the myriad of hickeys he had along his collarbone. “Well?” He asked again when she said nothing.

“I don’t know what you mean,” she replied lazily, lifting her cup of tea to her lips and wincing at the tepid temperature.

She could feel his glare burning into her skin, particularly the line of hickeys she had spread across her own collarbone. She knew that it was making him angry. Knowing that someone else had marked her in the way he was always so fond of doing.

“You’re a right bitch you know?”

She snorted then and finally laid the paper down. She stood and lifted her cup from the table then turned to place it into the sink.

“You like that about me,” she reminded him, finally turning around to meet his gaze, “I think it’s your favourite thing about me.”

He narrowed his eyes at her. “You know that’s not true,” he said standing and stepping towards her. Hermione let him and didn’t stop him when he settled his hands on her waist and caressed her hips through the silk of her negligee with his thumbs. Hermione tilted her head up to watch his face. His eyebrows were furrowed and his lips pursed. “You let him mark you.” She pushed him away then and scowled.

“Calling the kettle black Tom? Bit unoriginal don’t you think?” She huffed, crossing her arms over her chest and pointedly looking at his own marks. He rolled his eyes and she bit her tongue, stepping away from him
