A Summer Amour

There was a big rush in your manor for 2 days by now and you were kind of over it. Every year beginning of june your family holds a summer party in your big gardens to celebrate beginning of the summer, this was a family tradition for years. You actually loved that welcoming the summer party but hated the days prior to it since they were extremely chaotic since your mother wanted everything to be perfect, this included you as well. This year wasn’t any different; she made you and your father got dressed an hour before the party. Because last minute jobs were never perfect in her dictionary. You and your father weren’t fans of this behaviour of her but you two have learnt not to oppose her for your own good.

The party has started half an hour ago; you were welcoming the guests with your parents and having small talks with your friends here and there. But your eyes were fixed on the entrance of the gardens all the time. You were expecting to see someone special tonight and you were pretty sure that he would show up but there was no sign of him yet. And the fact that he was very punctual normally, made you worry that he’s not coming. But you decided not to think about it much, you were throwing a party and you wanted to enjoy every bit of it.

You were in a deep conversation with your cousins when you heard the most soothing voice that your ears ever welcomed. This voice was belonged to the man who you were expecting all day long. You excused yourself from the conversation and made your way towards him but not directly to him, you wanted him to notice you rather than you walked up to him. You decided to have chit chats with the guests around him so he could hear your voice, you hoped. Your plan didn’t take very long to work and soon he was in front of you saluting.

“Lady y/n y/l/n.” He bowed with a smile on his lips.

“Colonel Brandon.” You gave a nod.

“Please accept my sincere apologies. I was called to a sudden duty.” He gave you an apologetic smile.

“Your apologies are accepted, Colonel.” You smiled sweetly. How could someone say no to this kind gentleman.

You and Colonel Brandon were seeing each other for couple of months by now. This relationship has started very unexpectedly for both of you though. You and your family were invited to a picnic at Lady Blackbourne’s but it wasn’t a big event so just a few people were there and to your misfortune, none of your friends were invited. At the time you had no idea that your misfortune would turn into the greatest luck you have ever had in your life. Since everyone was older than you, their conversations didn’t interest you at all, so you took a glass of lemonade and made your way to the bench which was under the big, pink magnolia tree. You have guessed that the event might be boring based on your previous experiences, so this time you have brought the latest book you were reading. You were so lost in your book that you haven’t noticed the man who was watching you for a while until he cleared his throat to have your attention.

“Lady y/n y/l/n.”

“Colonel.” You smiled at him kindly.

“May i join you, if you don’t mind a company?”

“Of course. I will not reject a company since i am quite miserable here by myself.” You let out a soft chuckle.

He sat down on the other end of the bench while smiling. His eyes moved to the book you were holding. “What is the book you are reading, Lady y/n? You seemed very interested in it.”

“It is William Shakespeare’s plays. I just finished reading A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

He smiled and quoted a line from the play. “Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind-“

“And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.” You completed the line he has started. “Oh do you like Shakespeare too, Colonel?”

He hummed with a smile while taking a mini book out of his jacket and handed it to you gently. It was a copy of the same book you were reading.

“What a splendid coincidence!” You beamed excitedly. “I would never think a military man like you would be interested in such things. Forgive my misjudgement…”

“You are forgiven my lady.” I thought for a second and continued. “I heard that they play Romeo and Juliet at the theatre this week. Would you like to see it? With the Duke and the Duchess y/l/n of course.”

“Ah we shall do this! I am sure they will accept your invitation, sir.”

This was how your story has started with Colonel Brandon. The more time you spent together, the more you fell for him. He was nothing alike the other men you know; Colonel was such a gentle, kind and romantic man. He had everything a woman could ask for. And you knew that your feelings weren’t plantonic, his behaviours showed his feelings towards you very well.

The party has ended successfully and your parents were bidding farewell to the guests while you and Colonel Brandon were walking by the fountain. He has requested a private meeting with your father and he has asked him to stay after the party.

“Colonel, shall we go to my study room to talk?” Your father walked towards you while taking a sip from his wine.

“The Duchess and Lady y/n shall join us in my opinion, Your Grace.”

“Very well then, let us go to the living room. Ladies first.” He smiled at you and your mother while stepping aside so you could lead the way.

Now you all were seated at the big living room and waiting for Colonel Brandon to speak. But he seemed a bit stressed which was odd for him since he was a confident man. He fixed his uniform and took a deep breath before starting to talk.

“Your Grace, as you know i and Lady y/n see each other for a while with your permission. During thise time, i had the chance of getting to know your daughter better and i can safely say that she is the most beautiful lady both inside and out i have ever known.”

You blushed madly after his words and excitement ran through your body when you understood where this speech is going. You two have talked about it before but you had no idea thay he was planning to do it today.

“I want to assure you Your Grace, i will take good care of her till the day i die and i promise on my honour i will make her the happiest lady in the whole wide world. But of course i need your blessings before taking this important step. I want to ask for your daughter Lady y/n’s hand in marriage, Your Grace.” Colonel Brandon looked at both of your parents with a shy smile then his eyes met with yours for a second.

The Duke and the Duchess exchanged looks for a minute but it felt like ages for you and Colonel Brandon.

“Y/n, my beloved daughter. Do you wish to marry Colonel Brandon?” Your father asked in a serious tone.

You took a shaky breath and looked at Colonel Brandon for a second then turned to your father. “If you approve it papa, i wish to marry him.”

Your mother rubbed your arm assuringly while your father stayed silent for a moment. But then a smile appeared on his lips.

“Very well. We are going to have a wedding this summer then.”

Nightmare

It was the first breakfast that your family of three had all together in a while, it was just you and your daughter for months by now. But now it was the best time of the year; both you and your husband Severus Snape were in your Christmas break and he has just returned home from Hogwarts yesterday. You and your little daughter have missed him so much and both of you were desperate to spend time with him. But your daughter managed to steal your man all to herself like she always did since she was such a daddy’s girl and Severus was never able to say no to his little princess ever, even that meant he has to play with the dolls for hours or has tea parties with the stuffed animals. That was exactly what happened yesterday.

Severus arrived home just before the dinner time because he has decided to tidy up some paper works and make new potions to be ready after the holidays so he had to stay at Hogwarts little longer. When he finally arrived home, after the enthusiastic welcoming ceremony, you had dinner since all of you were starving and you have cooked your husband’s favourite meals just for him. And that was the last time you saw him that evening. Because your daughter dragged him to her room after the dinner and made him play with her for hours and plus to that she made it clear that she only wanted her daddy because she needed daddy and daughter alone time. So you stayed in the downstairs all alone; you cleaned up the dishes, tidied up to living room in the meantime while your two favourite people hanged out with you. Severus came to downstairs hours later after finally managing to put your daughter to sleep. He noticed you were reading a book with your cat by your side in front of the burning fireplace. He headed to the kitchen first to grab a bottle of wine and two glasses then he came to the living room to join you. You and Severus immediately started to fulfil your longing for each other by whispering sweet nothings, cuddling and kissing; it has been months since the last time you saw each other. With each glass of wine, your make out session fired up even more and eventually you carried it to your bedroom to finish what you have already started.

You three were enjoying your warm breakfast in this cold December day while listening to a calming Christmas music from the radio. It was such a peaceful morning that you have missed so much until your daughter decided to bomb the situation with her question.

“Mummy! Did you have a scary nightmare last night?” Your little girl innocently asked with her big adoring eyes.

“No, I didn’t…? Why?” You were confused by this sudden question and wondered where she got that thought from.

“But, but you were screaming daddy’s name. I wanted to come but I was scared…” she said with a pouty face.

You choked on your tea when it hit you that you and Severus totally forgot about the silencing charm last night and unfortunately you were not a silent type in the bed and Severus knew how to make scream his name very well. Since you were still coughing because of the tea, Severus replied your daughter’s question while trying to hold his laugh.

“Yes princess, mummy had a nightmare last night and talked in her sleep. That’s why she doesn’t remember.” He said this white lie and caressed your daughter’s hair to calm her down which made her pouty face to turn into a smiley one.

“Daddy is right, he told me about it but apparently I forgot. Yes I had a scary nightmare about monsters. But it was just a nightmare, I am totally fine!” You smiled awkwardly, your face was red but it was questionable if it’s from the choking or by the embarrassment. “You have eaten your breakfast, good job! Now go and play with the kitty, look she is staring at you.”

“Okay mummy! Come come Ruby.” She jumped of her chair and ran to the living room with Ruby while giggling happily, she has already forgotten about the topic.

Severus couldn’t hold it anymore and burst into laughter, your face was hilarious when your daughter asked the question. “What you had last night was more like a dream, wasn’t it my love?”

“Shut up Severus! It’s your fault, putting the charm is your duty!” You slapped his arm jokingly which made him laugh even more, he enjoyed how annoyed you were. You stood up to check your daughter and the cat but before you go to the room, you had an mischievous idea; you leaned to Severus’s ear and whispered. “I will give you a dream tonight where YOU will scream my name this time, my sweet hubby.” Then you gave him a sultry look before leaving the kitchen.

Perfect Day

a/n: Finally i wrote a Snape x reader fic after a very long time. I don’t know if it is any good or not but i am just trying to turn back to writing. I know i declined many requests lately and didn’t write anything and probably because of that i feel like i lost touch with my readers… I feel down quickly if i don’t have any interactions with my posts and that’s what happened in summary… anyways i don’t want to rant so much, hope you enjoy this💕

Pairing: Severus Snape x reader

Theme: pure fluff

If heaven was real, it must have looked and felt like that otherwise you would be disappointed. The sky looked like a cotton candy with its pink and purple colouring and the puffy clouds were like marshmallows on top. The summer wind was breezing lightly and bringing the sweet scents of the cherry blossom trees which were planted by the river along with many others and keeping the place secluded. When you first walked through them, it felt like you entered a whole new world from a fairy tale. At first the turquoise coloured river was welcoming you, its colour was not like any other you have seen before. After you admired the river then the details it holds took your attention from its pretty colour. There were pink and white lotus flowers on top of it, they looked like some type of jewels decorating the river and added even more beauty to it if it’s possible. And lastly white swans were swimming effortlessly with full of elegance, how pretty creatures they were. But the best part of them all; you were in your lover’s embrace, your back was pressed against his chest and his strong arms were wrapped around your waist protectively while you were floating slowly in the small boat along with the swans. His grip around you tightened when he left a kiss on your hair to gain your attention. Severus has noticed that you were deep in your thoughts for a while.

“What are you thinking love? Are you bored…?”

“I am capturing every bit of the beautifulness.” You rested your head on his shoulder and looked up at him. “This is the best day ever.”

Severus gave you one of his rare smiles that always manage to warm your heart. “This is the best day so far. Many more is waiting for us in the future.” One of his hands moved from your waist to your peach-coloured cheek, his thumb caressed your soft skin. His black eyes fixed on your pretty face; he knew every tiny detail of it as if it’s palm of his hand. You were way more beautiful than the scenery you two were in but he knew very well you would scoff at him if he told you that. You were very successful to see the beauty in everything, the compliments you told to him were the things he wouldn’t imagine in his wildest dreams. But when it came to your own beauty you were very humble about it or sometimes you failed to see it.

“Oh look it’s you!” You pointed at the only black swan you have seen today with soft giggles.

Severus drew his attention from your face to the direction you were pointing at. Severus tried to stop his urge to role his eyes but you looked like you are enjoying yourself. “You say so…?”

“Yes!” you nodded so sure of yourself. “Look how sophisticated and elegant it is, swimming in some kind of harmony just like how you walk with your billowing cloak. Do you know that muggle fairy tale called The Ugly Duckling? The baby swan gets mixed with duck eggs and growing up everyone casts him away because he looks different. But then he grows up to be beautiful swan and finds his own kind then everyone gets jealous of him and feels bad how badly they treated him in the past. I think this sounds similar with your life story… Also if someone tries to pet it, probably it will bite; that’s very much how you act too.” You grinned cheekily.

Severus was feeling emotional by the things you said until the very last sentence, he couldn’t help but cackled at the statement knowing it’s not totally wrong. Then his eyebrow raised with a mischievous smirk, his dark eyes darted at your bare shoulder. “Like that my sweet?” then he bit your shoulder.

“Severus Snape! You wild man!” You dramatically wiggled but couldn’t help your laugh.

“Wild man? Ouch…” He pouted jokingly. “Last night you were pleading “more more”, wasn’t I a wild man then?” now a smirk replaced his fake pout when he noticed your face was blushing madly.

“You are such a tease Sev!”

“But you love me for it.”

“I do love you very much my biting black swan.”

A/N: thank you so much anon!💖 Since you were the only one who sent me a request, i kinda kept it long + i adore Severus as father!😻 hope you like it!❤️

When Severus Snape found out you are pregnant + if he was a father would include:

You and Severus were married for 2 years when you found out you were pregnant.

Your period was late and you were having morning sicknesses lately but you have thought it’s because of stress since it has same affects on you.

But this time you had a suspicion that you haven’t had before. So you went to see Madam Pomfrey in your free period to have it checked.

Minutes later you were rushing to your shared chambers, weren’t able to hold your tears back anymore.

You sat on the big bed and cried your eyes out at the fresh news you just found out; you were pregnant with your very first child!

After you calmed down a little bit, now another thing appeared in your mind; how would you tell it to your husband?

You and Severus haven’t talked about having a child at all to be honest, you were enjoying your family of 2. Because of that you weren’t sure how he would react and that scared you.

You didn’t have any more classes today so you decided to apparate to London to pick something up. You have decided you would break the news by giving him something rather than saying it to his face, this would be less intimidating for you.

At the dinner you tried to act as normal as possible but internally you were dying out of excitement and fear.

After the dinner you and Severus went to your shared chamber. He needed to mark some papers so he was in his study room while you were preparing yourself in the bedroom.

Sometime later you showed up at his study’s doorsill.

“I got something for you.”

“What for?” Severus questioned as his eyebrow raised.

You didn’t reply him but put the tiny box on his desk while biting down on your lip. He noticed your shakey hand and now he has started to worry. Severus untied the white ribbon that was around the box and lifted the lid. His eyes grew bigger when his gaze met the tiny pair of fluffy baby shoes which looked like bunnies.

Severus took them out carefully then his eyes met with yours, that was enough for you to breakdown and cry. He came by your side quickly and hugged you tight. You stayed like that for sometime until you heard him whisper:

“Am i going to be a father?”

You pulled away just look at him, his eyes were shining with tears like yours but you could tell he was trying to keep it together. You gave him a nod.

“I... i don’t know how... how to be a father...”

“I don’t know how to be a mother either, Sev. We will figure it out.”

“But you know me... I am not the best with children... And what if i turn out to be like him... my father...?”

You sushed him with a chaste kiss on his lips.

“You are not like him, not even a tiny bit. Also about the children, again me neither Sev.”

You chuckled and that made him crack a smile.

“Maybe we won’t be the world’s best parents but i am sure we will be the best ones for this little one, she is ours and we will love her dearly.”

“She?”

“I felt like it...”

Your feelings were right, you had a baby girl and she was the cutest thing you two have ever seen. Severus fell in love with her the very first moment he saw her.

First few weeks were hard for both of you because you were trying to get used to live with a baby. But Severus was the greatest help you could ever ask for.

How kangaroos carry their babies inside of their pouches, Severus was the human version of them. He would wrap his baby inside of his big cloak and continue with his day like that.

Well now you weren’t able to put her sleep unless you had Severus or his cloak, the cloak became your daughter’s safety blanket.

This was just the start tho, a few years later your daughter became a total daddy’s girl. But you weren’t complaining since they were the cutest duo you’ve ever seen.

The dark and scary professor was letting his only daughter to put makeup on him behind the closed doors and they were having tea parties with your daughter’s princess set, for your information he had to wear a tiara as well.

When she got older, Severus started to take her daddy & daughter dates just to show how she should be treated and shouldn’t accept anything less.

Their favourite hobby to do together was sitting by the Great Lake and drawing each other. This started when she was 6 and continue every now and then. Severus kept every drawing dearly.

When she became a teenager and started to go on dates, Severus became even more protective of her. He would threat the person if he didn’t like them in the slightest when your daughter wasn’t around. Usually there wasn’t a second date after they saw your daughter’s father.

But one particular person made it far and after years of dating, they proposed.

Severus felt like he’s gonna die after your daughter broke the news. For him, she was still his little baby girl.

At your daughter’s wedding, Severus seemed quite off and it became definite when he cried during their father & daughter dance. It was the first time for your daughter to see her dad cry. Well that made her cry as well, eventually you joined them too. It was a mess.

“You are still my baby...”

“Always, daddy.”

Masquerade Ball

“I shouldn’t have came here... I hate crowds...” you thought finishing up your second glass of wine. You were standing in the furthest corner to the middle where people dance and walk. Actually attending this masquerade ball wasn’t your intention but when your parents had to go to London for a sudden work conference, they asked you to attend this ball for your family since all pureblood families were invited and they have must been present.

You took another glass of wine and headed to the garden, you needed some fresh air and tranquillity. You walked around the statue garden until you found a marble arbour, you made your way towards it and sat. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath then slowly exhaled it while the wind tingled your exposed skin. You were having the time of your life until a husky voice brought you back to reality and startled you which ended up you pouring some wine on the ground.

“Oh i am sorry, my lady. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Blond haired man walked up to you and motioned the empty space next to you. “May i...?”

You just gave him a nod and this was enough for him.

“The ball is boring, isn’t it?”

“Yes.” You answered so silently, it sounded like a whisper.

“Am i making you uncomfortable, ma’am?”

You shook your head and finally took a look at his masked face, you couldn’t see much but his eyes... You felt like they could see through you. You found them very interesting, one was bright as ice and the other one was dark as coal.

A smirked appeared on his lips when he noticed your interest. “I have heterochromia.”

“I guess i am the one who makes someone uncomfortable here, not you.” You chuckled shyly. “I-i like them.”

“And they like what they see.”

You wished your mask could cover your whole face so he wouldn’t be able to see your scarlet cheeks right now. You looked down at your skirt to hide your face from him but your effort wasn’t helpful when he held your chin gently and made you look at him. Gellert was enjoying every second of this, he loved the fact that he could make you flustered with his eyes only.

“Please don’t hide that pretty face from me, mon amour.” Gellert’s hand moved from your chin to your flushed cheek, his thumb brushed through your lips softly.

You weren’t aware that you have leant closer to him until your nose touched his. A soft gasp escaped from your lips at that sudden contact but soon you were shushed by his lips. You held onto his jacket when he deepened the kiss. He was radiating very strong energy which made you want him more, you have never felt such thing in your life. But before you could have enough of him, he pulled away and stood up to leave.

“It was a pleasure.”

You were still stunned by the kiss and couldn’t react to his sudden act, all you could do was blurt out some words.

“Wait, i don’t even know your name...”

“Forbidden... to know my name. But i can assure you, we will meet again.”

Protecting young! Severus Snape when he is bullied by the Marauders:

* You regularly find him surrounded by the marauders middle of the hallway or garden or basically anywhere because they don’t leave this poor baby alone

* You immediately draw your wand at the boys but first you warn them verbally

* If they still decide to be dunderheads and don’t listen what you just said, you don’t hesitate to hex them right here and there

* Marauders eventually leave Severus alone but still harass him verbally until they are out of sight

* After they leave, you run to Severus to help him out

* He feels so vulnerable and humiliated in front of the other students

* You hold his hand tightly to show that you are with him and take him to your room as quickly as possible

* When you reach your room and close the door behind, Severus takes his walls down completely and let go off his tears which he was keeping forcefully

* Your heart breaks everytime you see him in this condition, how can somebody be so cruel towards another just because they “exist”

* Make him sit on your bed while you take care of his wounds if he has any

* Then you bring chocolates from your sweet stash to cheer him up

* A tiny smile appears on his lips when you hold him close protectively and play with his black locks while he is eating the chocolate

* Soon you two find yourself under the sheets cuddling each other lovingly

* Severus is the little spoon!

* You whisper sweet nothings into his ear while softly massaging his body

“Y/N… You have promised me, you wouldn’t cry. You know I have to do this…” Severus Snape mumbled, sadness in his voice was visible even he tried to hide it. He knew this day would come eventually and he thought he was ready for it. But then 3 years ago you have come into his life so suddenly and you have become the most important thing in his life. Severus was ready to face whatever would come to him tonight but he wasn’t ready to leave you. That was hurting him so bad, you could have an amazing life together if he didn’t have this duty.

“Apparently, I lied Severus…” a sad chuckle escaped from your trembling lips. You looked at your husband deeply in the eyes before hugging him tightly. You inhaled his woody cologne one more time and rested your head onto his chest to hear his heartbeats. You have a bad feeling since yesterday, you knew this war was on its way for years and Severus had an important role in it but the possibility of losing him was killing you softly.

“I don’t want to lose you… We still have enough time, we can run away Severus!” you were aware that you were being selfish but he was your husband and you wanted him to be safe and well.

Severus let out a long sigh, if he hasn’t come this far in this duty he would fly away with you without a second thought but now there was no return.

“Don’t make this harder for me than it already is, I beg you…” Severus kissed top of your head while rubbing your bag softly at the same time. Then he moved you away gently and looked at your pretty face for a long moment. This could be the last time he would see your face…

“Can you just kiss me already?” You gave him a tiny smile but your teary eyes were telling another story.

Your statement made Severus chuckle softly then he put his cold lips onto yours softly. The kiss started off slow but soon it grew into a passionate one, you and Severus were pouring all your emotions into the kiss. It felt like finding water in a hot desert. Your hands played with his black locks then moved to his soft cheeks; ah how you loved this man…

Severus pulled away slowly but kept his hands on your tear-stained cheeks. “This thing between us, it is the best thing I have ever felt in my life Y/N. Thank you for loving me when no one did… I love you so much, you are my everything. Never forget that…”

“I am the happiest when I am with you, you are the reason for my smile. I love you more than e-anything Severus Snape. Now go on, go bravely on into the blackest night my fearless love…” You gave his hand a strong squeeze before slowly let him go, you watched his black cloak flow away and eventually mixed with the darkness, left you all alone in the gardens of Hogwarts.

“Now it is just only us…” you whispered to yourself before going to take your place beside McGonagall.

Severus couldn’t dare to turn to look at you one more time, if he did he knew very well he wouldn’t be able to leave you. His heart ached with fear, not for himself tho; he feared for you. What if something happened to you, this was a war everything could possible. He knew you are such a strong woman but he couldn’t help but worry. Severus tried to get rid off all the emotions before he met the Dark Lord.

You were running around like crazy in the dark and shooting curses when a death eater interfered you.

The war was way more intense and bloodier more than you have anticipated but you were doing your best to protect the school and yourself. Then you had that feeling, that damn weird feeling and your blood ran cold. You immediately thought that something happened to Severus, you felt so scared and helpless. Everything around got blurry and you couldn’t hear anything but your own heartbeat. You had to find him and make sure that he was fine. Severus hasn’t told you where he was going to meet with Dark Lord exactly but he has given you a hint; Hogsmade. And there was only one place came to your mind that Dark Lord could use, it must be Shrieking Shack.

You were out of breath and had a cut on your arm when you reached the shack but you didn’t care any of these. You made your way inside of the shack as silently as possible and listened carefully when you entered. You couldn’t hear any talking, did they leave you thought. But when you were climbing the stairs you started to heard muffled moans, painful moans… You inhaled a shaky breath when your hands started to shake uncontrollably. It was selfish of you but you prayed that this moans belong to someone else but Severus. After a short pause you collected yourself and entered the room. Your heart dropped the moment you walked in; the blood was everywhere and there he was… Severus was laying in his own blood. He was paler than ever and hardly breathing. You ran to him while crying his name.

“My love, my love… I am here, look at me Severus.” You knelt down beside him and held him tightly to yourself. You tried to examine where he was bleeding but it was impossible to find.

Severus opened his eyes with difficulty but his eyes met with yours, he locked them there. Tears were running down on his cheeks when he winced with pain time to time.

“Stay with me Severus, I will save you. Please don’t leave me, don’t you dare…” you cried while caressing his cheek. Deep down you knew that you were late to save him but you had hope but you started to try some healing spells on him.

“Y/N… Stop.”He muttered. “It is too late by now… I am sorry…”

“No, no. You can’t die Sev, you can’t do this to me to us…” you held his hand and rested it on your belly softly. “I will not say goodbye, we will welcome our first child, together…”

His eyes grew in surprise and his weak grip on your belly tightened for a second. How he wished everything could be different; he was so happy and so sad at the same time. Having a family his own and live happily ever after was his absolute dream but ill fortune was written for him. He would never get to know his child, he would never grow old with you… Those realities caused him more pain than dying. It was a faith much worse than death.

“Forgive me, I let you down Y/N…” he has started to have difficulty to breath. “I love you… both of you…”

You kissed him softly one last time, you were trying to keep it together for him but you couldn’t stop your tears. This wasn’t supposed to end this way, this wasn’t in your plans.

“Oh I may weep forevermore but my love will never die for you Severus. And our little one will know about you and will be so proud of the daddy. I love you, I love you so much… We will meet again Sev…”

“I- lo-ve y…” his black eyes lost the last drop of life in them and he exhaled one single breath before he finished his sentence. You let out an animalistic scream, cried your heart out while hugging the still warm but stiff body of your beloved husband.

Auror’s Helper

“Attention!” Dumbledore stood up from the breakfast table and walked to the front to make his speech. “This reminder is for 7th years, rest of the students may continue to enjoy their breakfast.”

Sighs escaped from 7th years when they looked at Dumbledore with their unpressed expressions, his speeches were always boring and in the early morning they would be even more unbearable.

“You have been told that there will be introduction days about different jobs of wizarding world. And today is the beginning of these days! Our first guest will be an auror, I assume most of you will be very interested in that guest since auror is one the most popular jobs. You will meet with her on your 3rd period in the gardens, your professors will be escorting you.” Dumbledore eyed the students for a second before continuing with his speech. Their grumpy expression has left its place to an excited one right now. “That’s all for now, please enjoy your breakfast.”

The time passed so slowly for the students during their first 2 classes, they couldn’t pay attention to their classes at all because they were way too excited to meet the auror who Dumbledore mentioned. Especially Gryffindors were extra happy since their third period was potions with Professor Snape, they couldn’t wish for a better timing for that job introduction. Finally the time has come and all four houses went to the gardens with the professors. Soon after they all heard a swoosh above their heads and someone landed in front of them with her broom. You took your goggles and hair tie off, flipped your hair to free them, then smiled cheekily at the students. Some boys were watching you with their jaw dropped open, nobody was expecting the auror to look like a model but there you were with your perfect hair and in cool leather clothes.

“Hello fellows!” you cheered happily and waved at them, you were radiating such a positive energy and it brought smiles to the students’ faces.

“Let’s meet! I am Y/N Y/L/N.” You peeped at your husband Severus’s way with a smirk, he just rolled his eyes at you. You were keeping your marriage in secret to avoid any dangers towards any of you two also to avoid any gossips. But you knew very well Severus hated the fact that you had to use your maiden name, many men were trying to flirt with you thinking you are single and Severus wanted to curse each and every one of them. “I am an auror for 15 years and I spent 5 years of it in America. I can say I faced many different dangers during these years, we will talk about pros and cons of the job then I will show you some defensive spells. Deal?”

The students nodded excitedly while positioning in a half circle shape around you to have a better view. Two Gryffindor boys were making their ways to the front while talking, they weren’t aware that someone was listening them.

“I don’t know how old she is but damn look at her arse!” Blond haired boy said to his friend but before his friend could reply, the boy received a slap on his head by the potions master.

“Severus! Don’t hit the kids!” Minerva McGonagall snapped at him frowning.

“They were being disrespectful... towards the auror.” Severus grunted.

“I wasn’t, really!” the boy looked at you, when he made sure your attention was on him then he continued. “I was just saying how beautiful you are, Miss Y/L/N.” He grinned when you made your way to him.

“Oh dear boy, I would thank you if I haven’t heard what you actually said.” You raised an eyebrow at him smirking evilly while his face turned into a deep red, he tried to apologize but his tongue wasn’t cooperating with him at all. “Next time be more careful around an experienced auror. We can hear the things that you think they are secrets and we can see the things that supposed to be hidden from us. You would be thinking that you fooled us but you would be the one who is fooled in reality.” You walked back to the centre with confidence. Severus was amazed how you tore this kid apart just with your words and he felt like he fell in love with you all over again. After that little interruption, you started to talk about being an auror. You started with the basics then followed with some funny memories to cheer the students and keep their attention on you. You received some questions from curious students and you answered each question carefully.

“Anymore questions?” you took a look at each student. “No? okay. Then let the fun begins! I will show how you can defence yourself in dangerous situations. I am sure you learnt about them in your DADA classes in theory but seeing them in reality will make a difference and you will understand them better in my opinion.” You could see the excitement in the students’ faces and you knew they will be even more excited after your next words. “I need a partner to help me with that lesson. Professor, would you like to be my little helper?” You looked directly at your husband with a kind smile but your eyes were shining with mischief. Severus raised his eyebrow at your “little helper” phrase, he noted to have a revenge when you two were alone. But still he walked to the middle and stood in front of you.

“How can I address you Professor?” You were hardly holding back a laugh when you tried to act like you have never seen him before.

“Professor Snape.” He simply said with his thick voice, he was glad that you didn’t continue to call him your little helper.

“Pleasure to meet you, Professor Snape.” You held your hand out smiling cheekily, he shook it kindly while trying not to roll his eyes at you.

“I know we just met but I want to take this relationship into the next level, Professor Snape. Could you please attack me?” You batted your eyelashes at him in a theatrical way while the students and the other professors burst into laughter. You were sure Severus would have his way with you after the things you have done and that sent shivers down your spine. You and Severus pulled out your wands and took your places, in seconds you two started to duel, at the same time you were giving information to the students about the spells you are using. It has been almost 10 minutes that you were duelling and you wanted to end it graciously, well at least it would be gracious for you. You took the rope which was hanging by your belt, you threw it to air before anyone could understand what’s going on you put a spell on it which made it to wrap around Severus Snape. He let out an annoyed growl while trying to balance himself, falling down in front of the students would be the last thing he wanted. The students were cheering like crazy, they were having the time of their lives by seeing their most scariest professor tied up with the rope. Severus was cursing them with his black eyes, he would make them pay for this for sure. You grinned and saluted the students then made your way towards Severus, he has managed to stand still but his wand was on the ground. You took it gently then with a flick of your wand you let the angry professor free and handed his wand back to him.

“Please applause Professor Snape, he was great but…” You looked at him with a grin. “I was greater.”

Once again everyone burst into laughter while applauding you both but Severus wasn’t having any of it. You adored how grumpy he could get and you just wanted to kiss him right here and there.

After your short class, Dumbledore invited you to have a tea with him which you gladly accepted. You told him about the class and your duel which he enjoyed way too much and he regretted missing to see Severus’s face after his defeat. You left his room after a while and you were heading back to gardens to fly to the ministry but instead you made your way to the dungeons. When you arrived the potions class, you carefully listened the door but you couldn’t hear anything which gave you the confidence to knock on the door. Couple of seconds later you heard the baritone voice, you walked in immediately but he didn’t raise his head from the papers in front of him. You closed the door behind you and walked towards his desk.

“Hello my little helper.” You rested your hands on his table and leaned to his face. His eyes met with yours after he heard your cheerful voice. He put his quill down.

“If you call me this one more time Y/N…”

“What will you do Severus?” You moved around and sat in front of him on his desk. His eyes lingered on your body for a while then he slowly stood up from his chair just to stood between your legs.

“You will be tied up to our bed with this rope of yours and I won’t be very gentle.” He whispered to your ear and he gave a squeeze to your thighs.

“Booked then, my.little.helper.”

Hans might be a cunning and dangerous criminal to others but for you he is just the perfect boyfriend. You could not ask for better, he is everything you need and more.

You two have kind of a long distance relationship since he has to go different cities or even countries for his “job”. Sometimes you want to go with him as well but every time you get a negative answer from him because your safety is the most important thing for him and he cannot risk to take you with him, things can go downhill in a second with his job.

But every time he is away, he always calls you and makes sure you are well. And each time he brings gifts for you from the places he has been in.

During the holidays he tries to stay at home with you and those times are your absolute favourites. Especially summer holidays because most of the time he spends the whole one month with you.

And you have a tradition for picking out your holiday destination. Hans has a big world map on his wall in his study room, he brings you to the room and blindfolds you, then hands you one dart to throw to the map. Wherever it lands, you go there.

This year it landed on Brazil. You both have wanted a warm place and the result was just perfect.

Hans was great at planning the holidays, you two decided what you want to do in Brazil; he arranged everything in couple of days and you were already in Rio. You felt like you used a time machine, it was that quick.

You and Hans checked in a luxurious hotel, it was a dream-like place. Hans always loved to treat you like this and you weren’t complaining at all.

After you got to your room and left your stuff, you two decided to go for swimming since the weather was extremely hot in Rio.

You were quite excited until you put on your swimsuit. When you look at yourself in the mirror, you didn’t like your view. Of course you loved yourself but your body image was your biggest insecurity. And seeing many beautiful and thin women in their bikinis while you were checking in didn’t help to boost your mood.

Hans noticed your mood change also your facial expression gave it away. You were about to put a loose dress on when Hans stopped you and threw the dress away.

He was standing right behind you, his head rested on your shoulder when he hugged you from behind.

“You are the most beautiful human being both inside and out, i have ever seen in my life.” His hands gently moved on your figure while he whispered sweet nothings to your ear.

You melted into his touch but you still weren’t completely sure of your look. You tried to reach for the dress once again but he stopped you immediately.

“You are so perfect the way you are, darling. Don’t try to hide your beauty. You know they don’t cover the masterpieces in museums but put them in glasses so everyone can see their beauty and admire them but cannot touch them. You are the masterpiece of my museum, people can see you and adore you but you are only belong to me and i will protect you no matter what. Share your beauty with the people but do not let them to break your glass with their words, you are a masterpiece and they are just jealous of you my dear. Never forget that.”

Lucky Coincidence

You were on your way to your work in early hours, you liked to get out of your home early and walked to the museum where you worked. You have moved to Athens 2 years ago and from the very start you have fallen in love with the city. Especially the early mornings were your favourite, you loved to walk under the tangerine trees while the birds sang their sweet songs. But when you arrived in the museum, your dream-like moment immediately ended. 3 big trucks were parked in front of the museum door and they were blocking the road for the passengers but you showed your museum employee ID and rushed to the museum to see what’s going on. One of your co-workers saw you and your confused expression so she called out for you.

“Hey Y/N!”

You quickly walked up to her passing some people you don’t know. “Hi Eleni! What’s going on here?”

“They are going to shoot a movie here, for Hollywood! The museum made the arrangement last week when you were in your holidays.” Eleni explained excitedly but you weren’t very pleasant to hear this at all.

“So what are we going to do? Also they shouldn’t shoot a movie here, in a museum! They might damage the artifacts!”

“They will be here just for a week and they won’t use and flashes that cause a damage to the artifacts. And what you are going to do is you will give information about couple of sculptures to the actor, the boss wanted you to do this job.”

You sighed in annoyance, nobody has told you anything and now on the work day you found out that they are shooting a movie and you have to help them. “Thanks Eleni, I better see the boss. See you later!”

You made your way to the boss’ office and knocked on the door, you could hear some muffled voices coming from his room. Soon you heard him saying “come in”, when you entered the room you saw 3 more people beside your boss and one of them looked familiar, you have seen him in couple of movies; Alan Rickman.

“Good morning, miss Y/L/N. I was waiting for you. Have a seat please.”

You did as you’re told while greeting him back. He gave you a brief about what is going on and explained your job.

“Meet Mr. Rickman, you are going to help him about the sculptures.”

You were trying hard to hide your grin, maybe that movie thing wasn’t so bad overall. The actor smiled at you softly while holding his hand out for a handshake. You didn’t make him wait for long and shook his hand, you must admitted to yourself his hands were so soft and felt good on your skin.

“Since we met, when do you want to start studying about some sculptures, Mr. Rickman?”

“Now?”

“Alright! Then please follow me. Good day gentlemen.” You said rest of the men while leaving the room with Alan.

“So you are going to portray a history professor?” You started a small chat on your way to the first sculpture.

“Apparently.” Alan smiled softly, his hazel eyes were fixed on you. He wasn’t expecting to have such a beautiful young woman like you as his tutor.

“We need historians who looks like you, then maybe people will be more interested in it.” You blushed like crazy after realizing what you just said. Alan smirked at you with a raised eyebrow.

“I think you can lure people into history too with your pretty face, Miss Y/L/N.”

You bit your bottom lip while peeping to his way.

“Th-that is the first sculpture.” You mumbled while pointing the Aphrodite, Pan and Eros sculpture in front of you, still flushed by his words. He moved closer to you when you started to talk about the sculpture. Alan took a notebook out of his pocket and took some notes. You two walked around the archaeology museum, stopped time to time and you gave him some information about the meritorious artifacts. Alan was amazed by your knowledge but mostly by you. But your little study session cut by a worker who called Alan, saying he needs to get dressed for the shoot. Alan sighed and nodded at the worker.

“I must go… Thank you for your time, it has been a splendid lesson.”

“I am glad you enjoyed Mr. Rickman. See you tomorrow.” You have taken one step away from him when you heard him.

“Alan, call me Alan.”

Your lips formed a smile, turned your head to see him. “Y/N, just call me Y/N.”

It has been 6 days since they started to shoot the movie and also 6 days you started to give Alan short history classes for his role. You and him kind of grew closer with each day, enjoyed each other’s companies but both of you were real busy with your real jobs beside that sessions, the longest time you two spent together was only 50 minutes. Tomorrow was their last day in Athens for the shooting and the director sent a message to you with a young boy; saying you don’t need to come tomorrow for your study session with Alan because plans have changed and they will be flying back to UK in the early morning. You knew this will last long only a week but your heart broke after hearing this out loud. You have enjoyed your time with Alan more than you wanted to admit, your little study sessions have became your favourite part of your day. And if you knew today was your last day with him, you could have done something special or at least you could say him a good bye. Your mood changed in a bad way after this news and you closed yourself in your room until end of your working hour.

While you were making your way out of the museum, you looked around to see Alan but he was nowhere to be seen. You didn’t want this to end like this, you walked over to his van hoping you might find him there but after couple of knocks you had to accept the fact he wasn’t there either. You were about to leave but then an idea came to your mind. You ripped a page from your notebook and wrote your name and phone number then did slide it under the door.

You were chilling on the sofa with a book when your phone rang. You literally jumped up and run to it, hoping it’s Alan.

“Hello?”

“Y/N?” the thick voice ensured you, it was Alan. You jumped slightly out of excitement.

“Yes, it is me.”

“I didn’t know about change of the plans this morning, I would say goodbye to you if I knew…”

You sense the sadness in his voice and it broke your heart, you stayed silent since you had a lump in your throat. Alan continued after a while.

“I know it is quite late but… Can I see you, Y/N?”

“Yes!” you have sounded very excited but you didn’t care about it at all. “I’ll be in front of the hotel in 20 minutes.”

“I will be waiting for you.”

As you have said you arrived the hotel he has been staying in 20 minutes, you saw him there by the door and walking back and forth.

“Alan!”

He stopped in his tracks and turned to your way immediately. “Y/N! Thank you for coming that late, you must be tired…”

You rubbed his arm gently and smiled up at the tall man. “I wanted to see you too, Alan. I was hoping you’d call…” you bit your lip shyly end of your sentence.

“There is not much to do at that hour, so you want to walk and talk?”

“Sounds good to me.”

You two started to walk on the streets of Athens while talking about everything and nothing. It didn’t take long for you to notice that you two have so much in common. You haven’t talked about anything but the sculptures during your sessions so this surprised you both. You couldn’t help but think if you could meet with him another time, everything could have been different in a better way.

“I quote Plato; ‘According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.’”

“I have never heard it before, this is very interesting.”

You stopped and looked at him in the eyes.

“I feel like you are my other half, Alan... I know it is very early to say this but i just feel like it, y’know.”

His eyes grew in surprise for a second but soon his expression turned into a loving one, his hands found yours.

“I must agree with you, Y/N.” He looked deep in your eyes and leaned closer slowly. Your heart was beating so fast, you thought it might just run away from your body. Alan stopped when your noses touch each other.

“May i kiss you?” He whispered with his husky voice which sent shivers down your spine with anticipation. You nodded eagerly, he chuckled at you before pressing his lips onto your soft ones. It was a gentle kiss but you have never felt that good in your life. Your hand moved to his head, pulled his honey coloured hair gently which caused him to moan into the kiss. You pulled away smirking at him.

“Our lips fit so well too, we are totally soulmates.” You rested your hands on his chest smiling cutely at him.

“No doubt.” Alan kissed your forehead. “I will come back to you whenever i can...”

You sighed, you were back to reality from your dream state. “Don’t forget me...”

“I will never Y/N. How could i forget my other half anyways?” He pulled you in for a hug, you felt so safe in his warm presence and rested your head on his chest. The moon and the starts were shining above you in the darkness of the night while the tangerine flowers’ scent filled your nostrils and you were in the arms of a dreamful man. You couldn’t ask for a better night.

A Day In The Life

The weather was cloudy and it was sprinkling rain time to time. You and your husband Severus Snape were sitting each side of your big velvet sofa and reading books in silence for a while now. But you wanted to do something else, it was saturday and you didn’t want to spend your weekend like that. Reading books together was one of your daily habits and you could do that in weekdays too. You closed your book which you haven’t been reading for a while now and crawled your way to your very concentrated husband, without taking his eyes off of the book he simply raised his arm so you could cuddle into him. You stared at the pages for couple of seconds until let out a long and dramatic sigh. Severus looked down at you, his eyebrow raised in confusion.

“What’s wrong love?”

“I am bored... Can’t we do something different and funnier?” You poked his cheek cutely.

“Like what?” He put his book down beside him then wrapped his arms around you.

You shrugged, you didn’t have the answer to his question. You two stayed in silence and thought about ideas.

“How about a karaoke and dance party of our own?” You grinned up at him but he rolled his eyes at you.

“Y/N... I assume you can guess my answer...”

“I know but i gave it a try anyways.” You chuckled softly when he kissed top of your head.

“Let’s go for a walk by the river, maybe we can see the ducks.” Severus suggested, he knew you like to go there just to see the ducks.

“And we can feed them!” You jumped up excitedly and run to your kitchen to get the seeds you bought for them. Severus smiled at you, he was amazed by the fact that the smallest things can make you so happy. He got up to wear his rain coat and the boots, soon you joined him and headed out of your small house hand in hand.

You and Severus walked to the wooded area which was not very far away from your house. The area also had a small river by the side. When you got closer to it, you heard quacks and a cheeky grin formed on your lips.

“I guess we found your best mates, darling.”

“Sure we did Sev! Come!”

You run towards the river while dragging Severus along with you. You knelt down and took the seeds out of your pocket, couple of ducks approached you when they noticed the food. You were giggling and petting the ducks, basically having the time of your life with them. Severus was standing beside and watching you admiringly. He loved how you care for the animals with your whole heart and this lighted something in his mind, unwittingly the thought escaped from his lips.

“You would make a good mum.”

“What did you say...?” You turned to look at him with wide eyes.

“I said you would make a good mum...” Severus bit down on his lip shyly.

You stood up and made your way to your husband, rested your hands on his shoulders.

“I can imagine you as a good dad too.”

Severus scoffed at your statement.

“I do honey!” You kissed his nose sweetly.

Severus pulled you closer by your waist and looked deep into your eyes.

“Let’s have a baby, darling.”
