MC and Gavin’s Ice Cream Date
MC: “Gavin, there’s a new ice cream shop that lets people design ice creams with unique flavors and toppings. I want to design an ice cream for you and you can design one for me.”
·         MC’s design has blue and white swirls. There are sprinkles on it in the shape of ginkgo leaves.
·         It looks like ginkgo leaves are swirling in the wind under the bright blue sky.
·         The other half of the ice cream has dark blue ice cream, a moon, and star-shaped sprinkles. It reminds MC almost of Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” painting, but it has a much brighter mood and more romantic setting than the painting.
·         Gavin is Jupiter and MC is the moon. Together, they make up each other’s universe.
·         Gavin designs an ice cream for MC that is strawberry-flavored and it has flowers and bunny-shaped sprinkles on it.
·         The ice cream looks perfect for springtime and summer. It reminds Gavin of picnics in the park under trees so fragrant with blossoms and milk tea café dates with MC.
·         It represents how MC brings the youthfulness and romance of spring and the bright, refreshing summer into his life with her encouragement and presence by his side.
·         He is glad to see her accomplishments as a producer and is inspired by her leadership, resilience, her creativity in coming up with new projects and topics, how she takes care of her company, and how she also takes care of him sometimes.
·         Gavin is grateful to be spending time with her like this when he isn’t working on his missions.
·         He enjoys their time together and to him, it is time well-spent, whether they’re riding on Sparky on dates in Loveland or somewhere farther away, playing crane games at the local arcade, working out at the gym, tossing the Frisbee around for Flyer, eating ramen, hotpot, or home-cooked meals, going on hikes, visiting the beach, and many other adventures.
·         Thanks to MC, Gavin has learned to unwind and really live in the moment, enjoying the present to the fullest, unlike when he is at work and has to be very serious and professional.
This was written for my friend. @icecreamkari

Looks like MLDD decided to cease their operations as well. The game kept me company during the height of the pandemic. I'm one of its pioneer players last February 2020 and had gone hiatus for God knows how long.
Even though I'm not an active player anymore, it still makes me sad that they had to go as well. But I'm rather thankful that I stopped playing it much earlier. If by chance I have been playing it until now, I would've had a double heartbreak. A3! EN's shutdown already broke me into pieces. I wonder how my heart could handle all these pain from joseimuke and otome games.
Well, I guess this is our life as an international/overseas player. Hugs to you all! Cheers to all the memories - the only thing that we could keep forever.
Ps. But it's good that they can tranfer their accounts to CN server. Though only those accounts created around April 6 </3

I was blonde, and more Scottish, and a girl, visiting New York and met Mr Beast on a dating app and we fell head over heels for each other, but I had to return to Scotland so he took 7 months off from YouTube to live in Scotland and date me and live with me in a several hundred years old farmhouse. I encouraged him to start a more personal channel and be more authentic with his viewers. We were very happy together and raised sheep.

i'm sorry but i really dislike the story that kind of gets pushed that like "Phoenix was there to save Edgeworth when no one else believed in him 🥺" because 1. we do NOT need to be feeding phoenix wright's ego like that he is BAD ENOUGH as is and 2. Does the name dick gumshoe mean NOTHING to you... like
Tumblr media
the concept of phoenix maintaining a persistent, unselfish, and unwavering faith in edgeworth's morality is a fantastical narrative. GUMSHOE, however,

Given the Opportunity...
A request of a request. You know who you are ;)
~~~~~~~~
At no point in the year would more fame and fortune be found in a single room. Soft music floated from the string quartet in the northeastern corner of the room and over the guests, mostly ignored and definitely underappreciated. Smartly-dressed waiters carried trays of tiny hors d'oeuvres and cocktails in and amongst the glittering, glistening, and glamorous guests. A low level of chatter lay like a blanket over the scene, as warm and inviting as the golden lighting.
Victor really didn’t care for any of it.
The businessman sat at a table in the corner, welcoming those who approached, but making no moves to approach anyone else. He’d been invited as one of the sponsors of this year’s entertainment awards; duty got him through the door, but little more than that. If the girl had been there he might have actually managed to enjoy himself. However, she currently stood behind a camera in Bali. Without him.
“Have fun, okay? Maybe not as much fun as you had last time I told you to have fun, but I don’t want you to just sit in the corner and pout the entire party. Goldman swore to me he’d get you home safely.”
His sweetheart’s words echoed through his mind and Victor began to chuckle. She sure did know him, didn’t she? He stood and forced himself to approach the center of the room where most of the party was occurring. A waiter wandered past with a tray of scotch, which Victor happily reached out and obtained. The fiery liquid rolled down his tongue into his belly where it warmed him from the inside out.
“You’re Mr. Li of LFG, aren’t you?” an unfamiliar voice called out. Victor looked up from his drink and found the voice attached to Ms. Elnora Vaughn, one of the most highly acclaimed actresses of the year. He nodded and her face lit up. “I thought so! My, you are even more handsome in person, I must say.”
Victor lifted his cup to hide the eye roll. He recognized blatant attempts at flirtation when he saw them and had no intent to give anyone the wrong idea. “I’m in a permanent relationship. But thank you for the compliment.” He finished his drink and placed the empty cup on a passing tray, then disappeared into the crowd.
The first drink had him feeling quite pleasant and Victor soon reached for another. And another. He had a high tolerance, after all. And a few drinks definitely made a room full of high-and-mighties much easier to bear. There was no way he would over drink.
Such were the thoughts of someone more concerned with avoiding a certain Ms. Vaughn than with keeping track of how much alcohol he had consumed. Each went down easier than the last until he had to sit to avoid becoming better acquainted with the floor.
This had the unfortunate consequence of making him a sitting duck.
Within minutes, Ms. Vaughn seated herself in a chair only inches away from Victor. “Mr. Li, you are a hard man to keep track of! Glad to see you’re finally stationary for a moment. I wanted to get to know you a little better!” She scooted her chair a little closer to Victor as if testing his limits.
He scooted his chair a little farther away.
“Why don’t you tell me a little more about yourself, Mr. Li? It’s so rare that you’re available for conversation! What kinds of things do you like?”
Victor turned his head a little slowly, feeling like his brain was sloshing around in his skull. It probably was, honestly. “I like my girlfriend. She’s the most beautiful woman on the face of the planet.” His words held just the slightest fuzzy edge, but really didn’t reveal the extent of his drunkenness. “I love my girlfriend. She should be here, not in Bali. She should be here with me where she belongs.”
A slight sigh of frustration slipped from Elnora’s lips and she seemingly felt the need to try another tactic. She scooted closer to the table and hiked up her chest just enough to ensure her assets were displayed to their full size. She then leaned over toward Victor and looked up at him through her lashes; he didn’t even glance at her display. “I hear you’re quite the romantic. That girlfriend of yours better appreciate you! You’re the entire package, you know.” Elnora fluttered her lashes and smiled, though her eyebrows narrowed when this still seemed to have no effect.
A vacant smile spread across Victor’s face and he closed his eyes, picturing the girl behind his eyelids. “She deserves the entire world. And I’ll give her the entire world. She’s the only person in the world.”
“Isn’t she just some producer or something? You deserve more than that, Mr. Li. You could have any woman in the world. Why settle for some…nobody?” She reached out and placed a hand on Victor’s arm, which he whipped away with a scowl on his face.
“Don’t touch me! My girlfriend is perfect. You should meet her. She would make your life better. She does that. Even though she’s a dummy, she makes life better.” Victor leaned forward in his chair and scowled, his soggy brain processing whether he had enough sobriety to stand up without making a spectacle of himself. Even in this state, he had the sense to get out of this situation. “Good night, Ms. Whoever. I need to go find my girlfriend.”  Elnora watched Victor stumble into the crowd, her eyebrows encroaching on her nose’s territory with how low they scrunched. Never before had a man so blatantly refused to give her even the time of day! Especially when they were as unsteady on the drink as Victor seemed to be. Was she losing it? That thought only made her more annoyed. She slammed the rest of Victor’s abandoned drink and wandered off into the crowd herself to make sure he was the problem in this equation.
One of my favorite things about MLQC is the frequent use of symbolic imagery and motifs to set scenes and center characters. I think it’s incredibly clever, considering the importance of MC’s dreams, that the dreamlike symbolism is present throughout the story. At times, in MC’s confusion of piecing events together, reading the story almost feels like a sort of dream or vision interpretation. I love how consistent these symbols are for the characters and the way conflicting or contrasting imagery is used to add depth throughout the story. Also, since the story is told through MC’s perspective, the use of imagery shows us that her perception of the world is colored by her care for the main cast. When she’s with Gavin, MC notices fluttering leaves, when she’s with Victor, time slows, when she’s with Kiro, the sun is brighter, and when she’s with Lucien, she’s more attentive to light and shadow.
Under the cut, I have written more (1400ish words more) about symbolism in MLQC and how it adds depth to Lucien's characterization in particular.
Aside from adding to the mood of the story, the symbolism can also be used to narrative effect, showing us how MC is interpreting a character’s actions or motivations.
For example, we can look at how MC sorts through her feelings about Kiro/Helios in Chapter 29. Sun imagery pervaded previous chapters that centered Kiro while moon imagery is associated with Helios. In CH29, MC uses the harmony between the sun and moon as a metaphor when she accepts that Kiro and Helios are one and the same. This adds depth to what MC is feeling about Helios and also serves to contextualize the relationship between the two identities. (Note: I just love the idea that Helios has the same “sunshine” as Kiro but that he reflects it in a subtle way rather than being overwhelmingly positive like Kiro. This dynamic is only ever implied by the imagery and symbolism but it’s so perfect.)
Tumblr media
In particular, though, I want to talk about some of the symbolism associated with Lucien and what we can learn from the way these symbols interact with one another.
Light and Shadow
One motif that is very present when the story is focused on Lucien is the balance between light and shadow. (Note: It’s very on the nose at times but executed well, I think, so I’ll give them a pass.) This motif is introduced far before Lucien’s betrayal is ever revealed, as early as his first meeting with MC. (Note: I literally wasn’t sure when the motif was first introduced but I went back to Lucien’s first scene and SURE ENOUGH, there it is. I love how consistent the writing is in this regard. The motifs are handled so well and so intentionally.)
Tumblr media
During Lucien’s first scene in the game, light shining in from the window obscures his face. Far ahead of the betrayal, light and shadow are symbolically playing at obscuring his identity from MC. The light/shadow motif is used at first to symbolize Lucien being duplicitous, without much hinting toward his internal struggle. Later, when it’s clear that Lucien is struggling with a choice between metaphorical “dark” desire to continue his mission and “light” of protecting MC, light is used to hint at that internal conflict. An example of this is below, from Lucien's first standoff with Victor in Chapter 11.
Tumblr media
Notably, though, sometimes, the “light” represents MC directly while the “shadow” represents Lucien. After Lucien’s internal conflict and desire to protect MC is first touched on in Chapter 16, the two are symbolically juxtaposed by scene-settings back-to-back in the last two units of CH16. 16-24 opens with a description of Lucien’s dark, gloomy room and 16-25 opens with a description of the lamp on MC’s desk casting a bright light. (Note: MC’s Evol is also represented by light often, so I think this imagery for her works even beyond its juxtaposition with Lucien.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The same thing happens again when MC comes back from the Eternal Winter world, Lucien’s office is described as dark and shadowy when he is alone and then it’s cast in an “ephemeral glow” as soon as MC steps into the room.
Tumblr media
Mirrors
A large part of Lucien’s character arc is his failure to properly make sense of his own identity, this struggle is represented by mirrors/reflections. Often, mirrors are shattered or distorted, implying an added difficulty of perception.
Because of the expectations that have been put on him from a young age, Lucien is very disconnected from his own identity. Even with Black Swan set completely aside, because of his savant-like personality and inability to relate to others, Lucien doesn’t view himself as a human being. Beyond that, there is also a struggle between the two identities of “Lucien” and “Ares” implied.
I think that the answer to this struggle is MC understanding Lucien and having clarity about who he is as a person. Light reflected in mirrors represents this concept symbolically in the Mirror Painting date. (Note: I believe this date is only currently available in the CN server, I read this translation) In this date, Lucien and MC paint each other and then use mirrors to reflect light onto the painting when it’s displayed. After being painted and, therefore, symbolically seen by MC, Lucien is finally allowed to turn away from the mirrors and stop worrying about who he is. The mirrors that represent his struggle with identity are able to add depth to a beautiful image when paired with the lights that represent MC’s understanding.
Tumblr media
Shattered and Distorted Glass
This goes hand-in-hand with the mirror motif but is worth mentioning on its own because the symbolism is slightly different. While distorted mirrors imply difficulty for Lucien to perceive himself, distorted glass implies a difficulty for others to perceive Lucien. Shattered glass also represents a fractured relationship between the identities of “Lucien” and “Ares” in a few scenes.
Tumblr media
On the wall of the abandoned Ultima Bioresearch Lab, MC finds a quotation written on the wall from the Bible. “For now we see through a glass, darkly. The truth is projected into the hearts of men through a glass lens. It’s distorted, blurry, and one-dimensional.” (Note: I’m assuming that this verse was translated from the Chinese dialogue and not transcribed from an English Bible translation, because this is, at the very least, not a popular translation of the verse that I’m familiar with. Ironically, it’s more popular to translate “glass” here as “mirror” so there goes this whole section LMAO.)
Because of the way it’s presented, I think that this image of distorted glass represents not how MC actually perceives Lucien but, rather, how Lucien believes he perceives her. Obviously, this is also foreshadowing the betrayal so, in a way, he’s correct in asserting that she is not seeing all of him. But, on the whole, this distorted glass imagery is delivered in a way that implies the distortion more as an insecurity on Lucien’s part rather than the reality of MC’s vision.
Tumblr media
Rainbows
Keeping with Lucien’s themes of paradox and duplicity, one of his main motifs is the appearance of rainbows, despite the fact that he is colorblind. This is, again, representative of MC’s “light” being transformative to Lucien because the rainbows appear when they are together. I think that, rather than being a symbol for Lucien alone, rainbows represent Lucien’s relationship with MC. It’s a sort of combination of MC’s light imagery and Lucien’s refraction/distortion imagery. In the right circumstances, they can create something beautiful together.
It’s also implied throughout the story that Lucien is able to see colors when he’s around MC, so he is truly only able to appreciate the beauty of rainbows when he is with her. (Note: It’s unclear how this works but I think that it’s a side-effect of his Evol mimicking hers. There’s a footage mission where it seems like Lucien has to ask MC to look at something before he can tell the color of it so I think that he is somehow able to see the world through her perspective, possibly by using her Evol to have real-time visions. Does this make sense? Who knows, but I refuse to accept it just as soulmate magic!!!!)
If you haven’t, I highly recommend reading Lucien’s “Rainbow Luck” R&S. (Note: A recording is available here!) In this story, told from the perspective of Lucien’s pen, Iridescent, MC and Lucien see a rainbow together and it’s implied that this is Lucien’s first time being able to see a rainbow because MC is there. (Note: Iridescent as a name itself is an instance of Lucien’s rainbow motif.)
Tumblr media
(Note: Lucien's Moments also features a rainbow paperweight at Bond Level 40.)
Tumblr media
TLDR: Imagery and symbolism are used in MLQC to imply things about the characters and their relationships with MC. In particular, with Lucien, recurring imagery is used to represent his internal conflict and his desire for love and understanding from MC. The symbolism of light and its reflection/refraction is used to great effect throughout Lucien’s story, implying a complex web of internal struggles.
MLQC - Medieval AU ideas drabble!
We have seen the guys in medieval roles, but what if we mash them together!
- takes place during the 17th to 19th century
- the MC can have various roles like:
Being a peasant, maid or servant, who is in a lot of trouble because of her parents, or the daughter of a noble family-- who wishes not to be married off to someone she barely knows and does not love. Some ideas there.
Let's give our main guys some roles!
More below
In order of Hiarchy:
Victor
"A kingdom is nothing without the strength and faith of it's people."
He is the King, Emperor, or a Duke (duh :P)
Tumblr media
A true king of the people-- Victor was appointed to become the King (or emperor) by the previous royal council he was apart of for many years. He had no direct claim to the throne, however, he worked hard and the concil of the people favored him. He now is at the top of the kingdom (or empire) and continues to do what is best for the kingdom and it's people.
Although he is extremely pragmatic and a bit disconnected from the problems of common folk. However, no one can deny he is extremely intelligent and given the right information-- he can solved just about any issue.
Lucien
"Knowledge is the greatest weapon one can wheld."
Royal Phasician, Apothecary or Medicene man-- also a close advisor to the King.
Tumblr media
Eventhough they seem at odds, Lucien is one of King's closest and most trusted advisors. He is the right hand man and probably the second most (if not the most) power person in the kingdom.
Additionally he has a network of spies and knows everything there is to know about the kingdom and it's enemies. This is a man you want on your side because he knows everyone's weaknesses, and more than 101 ways to make people talk.
Gavin
"I am on the side of order and justice in a world filled with chaos."
Cheif Knight, General, Commander and advisor of the kingdom's military forces.
Tumblr media
Extremely loyal to the crown and the complete opposite of his younger brother. He is dedicated to justice and apprehension of criminals. Though he pleaded for his younger brother to be spared when he was caught doimg criminal actitives. Which was very out of character for him to do.
Gavin lives with the fact he spoke up for his brother, and must be the one to put him down if he causes too many more issues with the kingdom.
Kiro
"I live to bring the music and soul we all have a connection to-- let it all come forward and shine."
Bard, musician, jester and voice of the people-- and a spy master.
Tumblr media
Kiro is the most talented musician in the whole kingdom. His songs heal the broken hearted and uplift the downtrodden. Though he has a darker (hidden) side that no one suspects from such a bright and brilliant man.
He easily infultrates high class parties and other kingdom's realms with his famous performances. All the while gathering valuable information about them as well.
Shaw
"I am a freeman. Because I chose to be."
The outlaw, criminal, pirate Captian, secret agent, hunted and treasure hunter.
Tumblr media
He had always been a trouble maker from a young age. He never out grew his criminal nature, unlike his older brother, he became a theif and a lowlife. He was captured and was going to be excuted, but his older brother pleaded for him to be spared.
Instead, he was exiled and resents his older brother for saving his life. Shaw was able to commendere a ship and crew to do piracy. He deliberately steals from the kingdom that spared him. Though he has heard there is a great treasure there... not made of gold nor silver. He will take this great treasure for his own.
Main Character (MC)
My idea is that depending on where the MC starts will affect how they interact and know our main male leads.
High-class: Knows Victor or Kiro
Princess from another Kingdom or Related to Nobility
Mid-class: Knows Victor, Gavin, Lucien or Kiro
Royal Maid
(could be bumped up to head maid or fruther, if they work hard enough ;))
Lower-class: Knows Gavin or Shaw
Villager
Criminal: Knows Shaw, Lucien, Gavin or Kiro
Theif, witch, or some other thing that's considered a severe criminal act...
Extra stuff!
Not sure if they should have evol or not...
Thinking not because they'd be hung for witch craft...
But Shaw probably be like, "yeah! give me cool lighting powers!" (That'll make him too op xP)
I want them to interact more!
Anywhoo you got any thoughts or feedback? Would love to heart it.
Cheers! (^3^)/
Kiro’s Birthday Poem (2022)
Happy, oh, happiest of birthdays to you, Kiro!
Our Superstar and Potato Chip Hero
I hope you will become happier
and happier today and tomorrow
so that each year will be full of beautiful,
treasured memories.
I want to be by your side
finding answers, solving cases,
and going on as many
thrilling adventures together.
I hope we will complement each other
like a puzzle’s various pieces,
building and building
a life more colorful and interesting
just like your favorite Legos together.
    You won’t have to be as lonely anymore
because we’re a team
and we have each other.
I’ll be your lifelong snacking partner
time after time.
I am your sweetheart and you’ll be mine.
I hope you will get to sing your songs
in every corner of the world,
play your violin as you please,
and sail beyond the horizon on the open seas.
Life is an adventure best enjoyed together freely
so let’s keep on making our story a Masterpiece.
Remembrance - [Kiro]
It is because separation is inevitable that we should cherish the moment and those dear to us.
Words: 3258 words
When the girl had reached home after work, she turned on her phone to quickly skim through the notifications, which had popped up in succession on her phone screen.
Without looking away from the screen, she habitually took off her shoes and placed them into the open cabinet by the entrance door with one hand, while her other hand was skillfully sorting through the list of notifications by swiping away the unimportant ones.
Eventually, her finger, which was actively swiping across the phone screen, had halted upon a specific notification. It was neither work-related nor was it from anyone she knew. It was a notification regarding a news that she had been following for months.
Without hesitation, she opened the notification by unlocking her phone’s lock screen. Her grim expression gradually darkened as she read the full news article. By the time she was done, she had seemed even more weary and dispirited than before.
“So, it’s really happening…”
Few months ago, the government had decided to redevelop the rural areas at the outskirts of Loveland City. The town, where the girl used to live together with his late father before they moved to Loveland City, had been selected as part of the areas for redevelopment.
Since the entire town would need to be demolished for the redevelopment to take place, this had incurred severe opposition from the townspeople, who had been living there for generations. Of course, the government had offered the townspeople monetary compensation, along with arranging for their temporary residence before they could move back into their new homes in the redeveloped town, but it didn’t help much in appeasing the townspeople’s grievances.
After all, sentimentality was something that could never be compensated monetarily.
Moreover, the idea of tearing down the entire place that was filled with memories just to remake it into a new settlement was a disconcerting proposal. Having been living there in peace all these years, the townspeople would prefer that everything stayed the same. Even the girl, who had moved away from the town around a decade ago, had felt wistful at the thought of the town that she remembered in her childhood memories being erased just like that.
Although she had expected this outcome, that it would be unlikely for the redevelopment project to be retracted, she still held on to the slim hope that things would somehow take a turn for the better. She supported the townspeople’s effort in protesting against the redevelopment project by signing the public petition they organized and using what little spare time she had to spread awareness about the matter in social media.
Even though she knew that those efforts might not have made any difference, she still couldn’t avoid being disappointed and sad when reading the news article.
After closing off the news article, a message notification had coincidentally popped up on her phone screen.
[Is everything okay, Miss Chips?]
She blinked twice while reading the message.
Now that she thought about it, she hadn’t spent much time with Kiro recently, despite the two of them being involved in the filming of a food show for the past two weeks. At most, they only exchanged fleeting glances with one another before she was called off to review the details of the show with the director, while Kiro would be dragged off by the make-up artist to get ready for the filming.
[You seemed down today.]
Was it that obvious?
It was true that she was feeling disheartened these few days because of the town redevelopment, but she thought she had done well in hiding her feelings and acting like usual while on the filming site.
If Kiro had noticed it, did that mean that everyone else on site was aware too but was merely keeping quiet about it?
That possibility had caused the girl to frown unconsciously. On top of being in low spirits, she instantly felt ashamed at that moment. The last thing she wanted was for others, especially her colleagues, to think of her as someone who couldn’t manage her emotions during work.
Feeling frustrated and burdened by her train of thoughts, the girl tossed her bag down at the side of the coffee table before plopping herself face-down onto the couch in the living room. She felt tired, so very tired, be it physically or mentally. She could already feel herself drifting in and out of consciousness just by keeping her eyes closed.
How nice would it be if the next time she woke up, all her worries were merely a passing dream.
Just when the girl was on the brink of dozing off on the couch, the smartphone that she had unknowingly clutched within her right hand had vibrated twice while emitting a ‘ding’ sound. She would have ignored it, if she hadn’t suddenly remembered the most recent message and how worried the sender would be if she were to remain unresponsive. So, she reluctantly rolled over onto her back and held her phone above her face as she read the message notification on the screen.
[If Miss Chips ever needs someone to talk to, superstar Kiro is always ready to hear you out.]
The corner of the girl’s lips had curved upwards involuntarily when reading the message. She held her phone close to her lips as she whispered softly.
“Thank you.”
Even though Kiro didn’t know about the source of her unhappiness, the girl had felt a little better from reading his message. It was like a gentle reminder, telling her that she didn’t have to bear everything on her own.
Having promised to never hide things from each other, the girl had initially planned to talk to Kiro about the town redevelopment matter, but there hadn’t been an appropriate time for that due to their respective jam-packed work schedules. As the days passed, she gradually hesitated to talk about her problem as she felt that it was trivial and insignificant when compared with other more pressing matters. Believing that she will eventually get over it after a while, she hid her feelings and acted like nothing was amiss.
In the end, Kiro still noticed it.
The girl knew that he wouldn’t belittle her problems and he would listen attentively to her until she was done, but she didn’t want to trouble him with her insignificant issues when he barely had time for himself.
Nonetheless, he had currently taken the initiative by messaging her and offering to be her listener. It would be impolite and hypocritical of her to refuse and insist on keeping the matter to herself now, especially when she was the one who had always asked him to tell her if there was something troubling him.
Nodding to herself, the girl sat up properly on the couch and started composing a message to Kiro. After several repetitions of typing and deleting her words for the past few minutes, she eventually delivered a short and simple reply to her intended recipient.
[Kiro, do you have time next Wednesday?]
————————
While shielding her eyes from the glaring sun, the girl gazed up at the cloudless blue sky. It seemed unlikely that it would rain today, which was great since she would be able to make full use of the entire day for her plans. With a resolute smile, she held the digital camera tightly with both hands and strode towards Kiro, who was currently adjusting his disguise, which consisted of a cap, a pair of sunglasses and a face mask.
To be honest, she didn’t think that any form of disguise would be enough to prevent the celebrity from being identified, but it would still be safer for Kiro to have disguises on than for him to go out without them. Even if the town was situated at the outskirts of Loveland City, it wouldn’t be surprising for his fame to have reached this rural town or even the possibility of stumbling upon his fans during their exploration of the town.
Having noticed her approaching, Kiro stopped fiddling with his disguise. Although his expression had been fully concealed by the sunglasses and mask, the girl could still sense that he was beaming at her.
“Decided on where to go?” he asked while stuffing his hands into his jean pockets.
Before their arrival at the town, the girl had told him about the rural town’s significance to her and the redevelopment project that will be carried out soon. She had also informed him about her plans on visiting the town to preserve the last scenes of the memorable places there with her camera, which Kiro found to be meaningful and was enthusiastic to be involved in her little project.
“Mmhm.” The girl hummed with a firm nod. “There are a few places I planned to visit today, but I am not sure if there are still there since it’s been so long since the last time I was here.”
“That’s okay. We have the entire day to explore this place. So, just take this as our little adventure.”
The girl smiled and nodded in agreement.
The bit of melancholy feeling that she was feeling ever since she decided to visit the town had dissipated at that moment, making her heart felt lighter. Kiro had always been adept at lifting one’s spirit simply through his words and cheerful vibe. It was no wonder that he was regarded as a “little sun” by his fans.
After keeping her digital camera in her handbag, the girl pointed at the street ahead.
“Since it’s close to lunch time, let’s go check out if the family restaurant is still there. I remember they made the best pork buns in town.”
“If you said so, then I definitely have to try it!” exclaimed Kiro with evident excitement in his voice.
The girl had giggled in response before she reached out to grab Kiro’s hand.
“In that case, we better be quick before it’s sold out!”
Having said that, the girl turned and ran ahead while pulling Kiro along with her.
Kiro, who hadn’t expected that, was initially surprised. Behind the black-tinted sunglasses, his bright blue eyes had widened when the girl initially took hold of his hand. However, upon seeing her bright smile and their intertwined hands, he found himself gradually breaking into a grin while being pulled along by the girl.
As they held each other’s hand and ran down the old cobblestone street, he felt liberated, as though nothing else mattered.
As though it was just the two of them in the whole wide world.
————————
For the entire day, the girl visited several places in the rural town as she followed the traces of her vague childhood memories together with Kiro.
Much to her relief, the family restaurant that she remembers was still up and running. It was still managed by the same owner from before she had moved out of the town a decade ago. The most surprising thing was that, even now, the owner still remembers her and her father. After exchanging words with the owner about the changes in their respective lives during this past decade, the owner had given her and Kiro extra servings of the pork buns to takeaway for free as a gift of their unexpected reunion.
“Delicious!”
Seeing Kiro with his cheeks stuffed full with the pork bun like a hamster, the girl giggled while suppressing the urge to poke his cheeks. Having been stuck on a strict diet after completing the shooting of the recent food show, the girl could understand Kiro’s current bliss in being able to enjoy flavorful and hearty food without any regards about his diet.
Of course, for Kiro’s sake, she would be keeping this hearty meal a secret from Savin.
After they were done with the pork buns, the girl then brought Kiro along to look for her primary school, which was still there. The most noticeable differences from her memories would be the addition of a small athletic field for outdoor sport activities and the once plain white walls were now covered with various colorful but faded murals.
While admiring the faded murals on the wall from outside the school compound, the girl caught sight of a group of primary school students from beyond the adjacent wire fences. The students were shrieking excitedly while running around the school field in their gym clothes. It took her a moment of observation to realize that they were playing a game of tag among themselves.
The sight made her smiled as she recalled the time when she used to play tag with her friends after school. Back then, the whole school was like their private playground after the classes were over. They would run along the school hallways and hide in the empty classrooms.
“This is where little Miss Chips used to study?”
Snapping back to reality, the girl nodded at Kiro before she looked back towards the students at the athletic field.
“Since I moved into town a few months after the school semester had started, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to catch up on my studies or that I couldn’t fit in with the other students in class. It didn’t help much that I was a timid and socially-awkward child back then.”
“Eh? Little Miss Chips being socially awkward? Really?”
“It’s true! That’s why dad was always worried about me.”
At the mention of her late father, the girl slowly lowered her gaze to the floor. After a moment, she lifted her head and turned towards Kiro, the momentary gloom from before had dissipated as she continued light-heartedly while smiling, “Fortunately, everyone was nice and considerate towards me. They help me catch up with my studies and they even accompany me when dad was late in picking me up from school.”
“Those are nice friends you have there.”
“Yes, they are.”
After the trip to the primary school, the girl visited the community library and then the playground. Those were places where she used to spend her weekends with her late father. At each location, she would retell the fond memories of those places to Kiro.
It was truly strange.
She had expected that by reminiscing about those times that she had spent with her late father in this town will inevitable brought back the grief and sadness that she had over his death. It was for that reason that she had avoided visiting the town until now, but now that she had visited those places with Kiro, she didn’t feel as miserable as she had anticipated. Although there was still a tinge of pain along with melancholy when recalling those past childhood memories at each of those familiar places, she had felt more warm tenderness than heartache.
Was it because the current her had grown to be able to cope with the grief from that time?
Did this mean that she had matured from her past self?
Honestly, she wasn’t sure.
While looking through the pictures that she had taken with her digital camera throughout the day, the girl noticed that the sun had already descended, which allowed the stars to make their appearance along with the crescent moon on the violet-tinged sky. Thinking that the view of the sky was beautiful, the girl instinctively directed her camera at the sky and took a picture of it. She spent a moment to examine the picture that she had taken before eventually nodding in satisfaction.
These photos would be the last mementos that she had of this town before the redevelopment effort, which would be taking place in less than a week later. Even though the only changes to the rebuilt town would be the addition of more facilities and everything else would merely be made anew in their respective locations, it was still fundamentally different from the town before the redevelopment. Thus, she intended to preserve the current perspectives of this town in her photographs.
All in all, today’s outing had been a fulfilling one for her.
Aside from fulfilling her main objective in visiting all the places in her memories, she had managed to lift her spirits as well. While she couldn’t say that she was feeling completely fine, she had at least been able to come to terms with the town’s inevitable redevelopment and the memories related to her father. Honestly, if she had been on her own today, she doubted that she would have been able to accomplish all that she had achieved today.
After tucking the wind-blown strands of hair behind her ear, the girl looked over her shoulder at Kiro, who was resting at a distance away from her. He was gazing up at the sky while sitting on the one and only wooden bench at the small playground. Ever since the sun had descended, he had taken off his face mask and sunglasses, which revealed his captivating blue eyes. Having noticed her gaze, those bright eyes were filled with unconcealed joy as he waved his hand in her direction.
Seeing him in such a jovial mood had made her felt the same. Keeping the camera back into her handbag, the girl walked towards the wooden bench and sat down on the empty space next to Kiro. After a moment of silence, she turned towards the celebrity.
“Kiro.”
When he met her gaze, she had suddenly felt self-conscious. Even so, she didn’t look away from him and resumed her words.
“Thank you … for always being there for me. I am truly glad that you are here with me today.”
Upon hearing that, Kiro’s face had lit up brightly.
“I am the one who should be thanking you for the invitation! Besides getting to know about Miss Chip’s childhood, the fact that Miss Chips is comfortable with sharing those precious memories with me makes me super proud and delighted!”
The girl felt her cheeks burned up, but she still managed to spoke in a steady voice without looking away from him, “Just like how you have entrusted me with your secrets, I trust you too. Besides…”
If there was anything that she realized from today’s outing, it would be to not take things for granted. Just like the rural town, just like her late father, no one knew how long would things remain or when they would disappear. It might be years, months or they might even be gone on the very next day.
Even for Kiro, who was she to be certain that they would always be together in the future?
Hence, the constant reminder, “to cherish the moment and those dear to you”.
Seeing the questioning look on Kiro’s face, she hesitated on continuing her words for a moment. Since she wasn’t certain about how he felt towards her, the girl couldn’t help feeling cold feet all of a sudden. Although he had always been kind and cordial towards her, that didn’t necessarily mean that he felt the same way as her.
Moreover, words that had been spoken could never be taken back.
However, when she thought of her past regrets that was due to her indecisiveness, she regained the determination to carry on with her words.
“You’re the dearest person to me.”
No matter the outcome, she didn’t want to regret it when the opportunities had passed and she was left with an unchangeable outcome.
So, she will tell him this now.
“Kiro, I love you. I love you very, very much.”
Instead of gazing from afar, this time she will reach out to grasp her beloved star.
[Chapter 1]
* ‘--’ is where the next page starts*
“...Passengers who take this flight, please go to the No. 12 carousel in Zone D to claim your luggage…”
The sensor door slid open silently, and passengers rushed in. I walked to the hall with the crowd, looking around, trying to find the shadow of this city after a few years in my memory.
The dark grey ground reflected the cold light of the dome, and outside of the curtain wall, the roar of the plane could be faintly heard. The scene in front of me doesn’t seem to have changed much from the year I went abroad. It’s just that in the advertising screens around, the faces that capital favours are no longer the same as they used to be.
The new generation is better than the old.
--
I thought sadly, and my eyes were fixed on the advertisement in the corner of the hall.
On the screen, Kiro smiled, and his eyes were as blue and bright as the ocean reflecting the sunlight. Occasionally, a traveller slows down as he passes by the screen. Although he suspended the event a few months ago, the commercial value does not appear to have been significantly affected.
I stood in front of the carousel thoughtfully, opened Weibo while I was waiting, and searched for his name.
— “I don’t know how many days it’s been since Lolo’s been active. I miss him.”
--
— “Inside news. It is said that this comeback will have a great impact!”
— “Really? Let’s hope so!” *Changed some wording*
I raised my eyebrows and took my luggage off the carousel.
The entertainment industry has always been fond of the new and disliked the old, it's a miracle that Kiro can maintain such a high degree of discussion during the blank period. It’s no wonder that his agent, Savin, has made several overseas phone calls and asked me to be his stage director for his concert. With his popularity, he deserves the attention.
--
“Hello, Director Wang, we will pick you up at the exit. Please contact us when you land.”
A line of small words pops up in the bay window. I pulled up the box and walked towards the exit, but saw an unexpected face in the crowd.
“... Agent Savin?”
“Director Wang! Is this trip going smoothly?”
Savin took the luggage enthusiastically. I was a little surprised but still answered politely.
--
“I didn’t expect for you to come to pick me up in person like an experienced star.”
“You are too polite.” Savin smiled and led me into the car while motioning for the driver to set off. “Thank you for your willingness to accept the invitation and return to China. While we wait to get to the venue, you can take a look at the company arrangement.”
I responded, took the information, and turned a few pages.
“Why would rehearsal take this long?”
“... well, because this concert is a bit special.” Savin’s voice paused: “I’ll explain to you later.”
--
[Chapter 2]
The car stopped slowly in front of the gym, and a girl came out to greet us with a smile.
“This is Director Wang. This is our boss, the person in charge of the company. She prepared the company arrangement.” Savin introduced us. I shook hands with the young person in charge, discussed the plan, and walked into the venue. After passing through several major gates, the scene in front of me suddenly became clear.
Against the clear sky, the vast venue and the dazzling sunlight come into view. I narrowed my eyes and vaguely saw a figure jumping off the stage, bright blond hair sparkling like a light. When he opened his eyes again, he had walked to the side of the person in charge and stood still. Those azure blue eyes that were indistinguishable from the advertisement looked at me, slightly curved.
--
“Hello~ I’m Kiro, I’m glad to have the opportunity to cooperate with you!”
“I am also looking forward to the results of the cooperation. But the schedule is still a little bit ahead. You are here now…”
“I’ll come to see the venue with the boss.” Kiro glanced at the girl who answered the phone and said softly, “My design is only based on the drawings, and the details are not comprehensive enough.”
“Before, I planned to arrange about 1,000 electronic lights in the audience, but now it seems that the number is still a little small…”
--
The kid’s attitude towards the stage is more serious than I thought.
I nodded silently.
Soon, the person in charge hung up the phone and said apologetically that something had happened in some other departments and she needed to deal with it. After saying goodbye to her, I turned on the computer and motioned Kiro to look at the screen: “Well… my initial plan is: all the lights at the opening are turned off, and the team will gradually join the accompaniment. As you sing the opening song, the lights on stage and in the audience will light up when entering the chorus.”
--
“You can also let the little sodas participate with their hand-controlled lights!” *Changed some wording*
Kiro, who had been listening this whole time, excitedly added, his eyes passed by lines and lines of the detailed plan. But, Savin frowned.
Is there any difficulty in cooperating? I was puzzled, and I asked bluntly: “What does Mr. Savin think is inappropriate?”
Savin coughed and seemed to be thinking about his words: “Director Wang, actually…”
--
“Savin, let me speak.”
Kiro suddenly spoke, the corners of his mouth curled up gently, as if he was talking about a trivial matter: “Director Wang, this idea is good, but it’s not very suitable for me right now.”
“I have a problem with my ears, and I can’t carry earphones on set. So, including the opening, the sound system has to be online all the time.”
“...”
--
I stared at those frank and sincere eyes, and my eyes fell on the delicate instrument partially exposed in his hair, and an unbelievable ache passed through my heart. It turns out that the so-called “special” thing is not the details of the scheduling, but…
Are you kidding?
For singers, ear problems are definitely major blows to one’s career. Not to mention the singing skills, such as improvisation, to match the atmosphere of the scene. I am afraid that for him now, even controlling the volume and intonation are tricky issues…
--
“The stage is not child’s play. Have you considered the seriousness of this matter?” I paced a few times and stopped suddenly in front of Kiro: “This matter is not so simple, you may not know —”
I would have liked to illustrate the hardships involved, but the moment I met those calm eyes, I suddenly realized something.
He is very clear.
--
“I know the stakes are high… but, it’s not impossible. And…”
Kiro turned his head to look at me, lowered his tone, but still did not give in at all: “Director Wang, before sending you an invitation, we have negotiated with the industry’s authoritative stage and sound teams, who have participated in several Bird’s Nest concerts. I have rich experience in the design and construction of these concerts, and I am also in the process of negotiating with the best lighting instructor nominated for this year’s Golden Globe Awards. I know that this stage will be different from the past, and each link needs better cooperation, even if it takes many adjustments to render it perfect. So, I have been working on it.”
--
He paused for a moment, there was a light in his eyes, and he spoke again with a firmer tone: “I hope you believe that I, like you, want to create a perfect stage, and I need your help. I know this is a challenge, it is not easy, and the process of adaptation will be long and even torturous. But, no matter how painful the process of it is, I will never give up.”
“Please believe me.”
I didn’t say anything, I was full of this young man’s earnest look. For some time, I seemed to hear a shaky voice in my heart.
--
After receiving the invitation, I spent a few days mulling over hundreds of videos of Kiro’s performances. His infectious and explosive power on stage is truly unparalleled. What really made me agree to cooperate was the persistence I saw in those eyes and the love that never changed.
I can see such an expression for real now, but with even more intensity. *Changed some wording*
I couldn’t help laughing and let out a long sigh.
--
“I need to know the limits of your hearing ability before I can make a new plan to negotiate with lighting and sound. In addition, you must hurry up and practise…”
My voice is a little dry, but Kiro didn’t seem to notice, nodding: “No problem!”
“I will devote all the time, except for the necessary sleep, to training and actively cooperate with your arrangement. You can rest assured that the final presentation will be the perfect stage for everyone!”
[Chapter 3]
“All the tweaks and changes are due to some problems with my ears, so there is no way to carry the earpiece back on the spot. Thank you for understanding.” *GT was wonky here, but I think he’s saying earpiece*
At the meeting, Kiro confessed to the people present. Although I already knew this, seeing the silhouette of him bowing deeply, I still couldn’t help but sigh. This is an extremely difficult challenge. Fortunately, the team was very experienced and willing to cooperate, the immediate difficulties are not insurmountable.
But, on the fifteenth day of the countdown, the originally orderly atmosphere of the team suddenly changed.
--
The backstage, which was supposed to be busy, was a bit empty this day, and no one was seen in each post. I went all the way into the conference room, only to find that everyone was talking to each other here. Seeing my gloomy face, several people pushed their way through and greeted me.
“Director Wang, we don’t want to cooperate with Kiro, please replace us.”
“... the reason being?”
“Don’t you know? It’s been rumoured long ago!”
The staff handed the mobile phone to me, and the bright title of the video caught my eye: “Kiro- The Artificial Evolver Demon”.
--
I hesitated and clicked on the video. I froze in place.
“Remodeling Evol”, “Super Attraction”, “False Love”...
The words repeated in my ears and the sights in the video made my thoughts go chaotic. It wasn’t until the screen went black that I realized that I was in a cold sweat.
Kiro is an Evolver…? Doesn’t everyone love him? Is it the influence of his Evol?
--
No, from his business ability, dealing with people, and his serious attitude when it comes to performing, his strength is the real deal…
Wait, is my judgment on him now also influenced by Evol?
I leaned back against the corner of the table, my thoughts a little messy. *Changed some wording*
In the depressing atmosphere, someone else handed over the props tremblingly. I took it in a frenzy, checked two lines before I realized it, and dropped the pen.
--
“Didn’t I ask you to find the person in charge?”
“Well, she’s in the practise room now… Kiro is also inside…”
The rest of the sentence no longer needed to be said. I walked to the practice room distractedly, the door behind me slowly closing out the icy atmosphere. After a muffled sound, the discussion in the room was finally cut off.
The corridor that used to be crowded was surprisingly quiet at this moment, and occasionally a staff member approached him with panic between his brows and eyes. After passing by a few people, my angered brain gradually calmed down, but I didn’t consciously slow down.
--
… No wonder everyone avoids it, who isn’t afraid of being controlled by Evol?
Ask yourself, at this moment, can I face Kiro without any grudges?
The wind in the corridor picked up again, and there was a muffled sound of doors closing at the other end of the corridor. I looked up and saw two figures standing side by side at the door of the practice room— the young girl stood stiffly in place, and Kiro turned towards her, leaning over and saying something with a gentle expression. The two of them then immediately walked into the distance together.
--
Now I was trotting a few steps to stop them, but it was too late.
… Hurry up.
Reason is urging me in a low voice, but the breathing is involuntarily tight as I go to take a step. Watching their figures gradually fade away, I was inexplicably relieved. *Wording was weird here*
--
I haven't figured out what kind of mood I want to face Kiro with. In such a situation, he himself should be the most indecisive, and it may not be the right choice to cooperate with him now. I also need time to deal with the fluctuating situation in the team. Now is not a good time to go through with the cooperation… I think calmly, even if the list in my hand has been wiped out.
Perhaps seeing my hesitant gaze, Kiro’s figure in the distance froze and looked at me unexpectedly. I turned around subconsciously and left in a hurry, pretending to be passing by.
[Chapter 4]
The storm was more severe than expected.
Everyone’s depressed mood spreads in the team, and there are many rehearsal scenes to be done in the rain. Kiro is dancing in the centre of the storm and the microphone is being debugged on the stage.
A text message sounded unexpectedly, and my eyes shot wide open. As expected, of course, is the news of the resignation.
— Director Wang, I have decided to quit the team. I’m really sorry. I hope to have the opportunity to cooperate with you in the future.
--
— Well, not reluctantly. When are you leaving? Make the handover.
— Within the week. The artists I followed are also preparing for the stage. If you don’t want to go into this muddy water, please feel free to contact me.
My fingertips hovered over the screen for a moment.
Maybe leaving is a better choice, but from the day I stepped into this industry, I never gave up on any stage. Exiting now is tantamount to letting everyone’s efforts go to waste, including me, and Kiro.
--
I subconsciously glanced toward the stage.
The spotlight on Kiro was hot and bright, reminiscent of the same long-lasting lights and almost uninterrupted melody in the practice room. It was just as he had promised me.
If he still persists as the target of public criticism, maybe I can accompany him if it goes a little further.
I weighed the options until I heard Kiro’s singing.
--
Clear and melodious, it reminds people of the blue sky in summer and the quiet stars of midnight. In his soft humming, my restless heart gradually calmed down. At the end of the song, I suddenly came back to my senses. The singing is short, but I seemed to have encountered a pure and unyielding soul. This is the power of music, not the result of Evol’s confusion. My palms were slightly sweaty as I stared at the figure under the spotlight.
“Turn down the frequency of the transponder a little more, and tune it by a halftone.”
Kiro opened his mouth, he picked up the microphone stand and walked around the stage a few times before standing a little further away. “Move to here, the view of the metronome is clearer.”
--
“What do you think, Director Wang?” Kiro turned to look at me: “What else do you think needs to be improved?”
All the disturbing emotions were left behind. I strode forward to get the ideas in my head and put them all together.
— Together with Kiro, we will definitely be able to create the best concert.
This thought popped into my mind, inexplicably and with certainty.
--
Practising over and over again, the days passed quickly, and finally, the day of the concert came. The pitch of the VCR was intense, but the atmosphere in the venue was somewhat deserted.
“Notify Kiro, prepare to play.”
I sighed heavily. Although it was expected long ago, the current scene is still a bit disappointing. I don’t know if Kiro’s state will be affected…
--
I thoughtfully walked backstage to inspect but saw Kiro’s familiar figure in the corridor. I followed his line of sight, and my eyes fell on the sparse flower basket. The pomp of the celebrations at the moment may not be comparable to the previous ones. I couldn’t help but feel a little worried, but I saw Kiro move.
He leaned over to the flower basket, smoothed out the folds on the ribbon, and flipped through the childish or dashing messages on it one by one.
— “The little sodas will always support you!”
— “I wish the concert a success!”
--
— “Looking forward to Lolo’s performance, let’s go!”
“Okay, I will do my best.”
Kiro responded softly, his blue eyes did not blink, as if taking those words to heart.
I gave an order to the staff member who slowly leaned in towards him: “There are only five minutes left till stage time.”
“I’m here.”
--
Kiro picked up the sunflowers that were teetering on the edge of the flower basket. After putting them back in place, he glanced at it, turned and walked towards the stage.
The young girl in charge was waiting behind the lifting platform. She raised her hand to adjust Kiro’s collar, like putting in the last piece of armour for a soldier. Her eyes were as warm and firm as ever. In hindsight, I thought that no matter what kind of sparring they went through these days, the expressions that she and Kiro gave each other never changed. Even if the road ahead is uncertain, they can probably go on together without fear.
--
Savin hurriedly ran in front of me, and the pattern of the flyer flashed in the gap of the briefcase. I didn’t know where he ran to distribute the flyer. Until now…
I looked away from the three people standing side by side and took out the walkie-talkie. I don’t know why, but the voice was a little dull.
“... Standing, three, two, one, start.”
[Chapter 5]
Amid the tidal wave of cheers, the concert briefly came to a successful conclusion. At the late-night celebration feast, dozens of wine glasses were raised high in a circle, making a series of crisp sounds amid the cheers.
The noisy conversation of asking for advice is endless, but it is like a crackling charcoal fire in winter, which makes people feel a little warmer in their hearts. I leaned back comfortably on the chair and squinted, my eyes glanced over one of the staff members. Seeing Savin’s smiling face, I suddenly felt a little melancholy.
--
If I hadn’t wavered, maybe I could proudly recall the days when I fought side by side with Kiro. But, the act of turning away that day was like a tiny thorn stabbing my heart, preventing me from basking in pure joy.
… I should apologize for my doubts.
I paced my way through the staggered crowd, looking around for Kiro. After a long while, I finally saw the familiar figure on the terrace. He was leaning on the railing and quietly staring at the stars in the night sky. I stepped forward and patted his shoulder.
--
Kiro turned his head sharply, and when he saw it was me, he relaxed.
“Director Wang.” Kiro raised his glass with a smile: “Thank you. Thanks to your overall control and design, tonight’s performance was very successful.”
“The stage is truly completed when the performance is completed because you performed well.” I sighed lightly while holding the wine glass: “Actually, I came to say…”
--
All kinds of apologetic words came to mind, ranging from the doubts I once had against him, and for the intentional or unintentional harm. But when I met Kiro’s clear eyes, my throat tightened, and I swallowed the words back.
On the way forward, this young man has already determined his direction, just like the clouds and smoke that will only disappear in front of the dazzling sun. Misunderstandings from the outside world cannot easily shake his mind. At this point, everyone who witnessed this concert should have no more suspicious feelings.
--
The unspoken apology seemed frivolous at this moment. I paused, looked into his eyes, and touched his glass calmly: “This is the most brilliant stage I have ever witnessed, and I hope that there will be opportunities for cooperation in the future.”
May you always be dazzling and always go forward.
