mr harrington who’s a scientist at hawkins lab. doctor harrington who made his pregnant wife an mk ultra experiment. dr harrington who gladly hands his baby over to dr brenner the second he is born.
007 who grows up with his dad as his main assigned researcher. being poked and prodded and tested and tased and tortured, all while his father stands next to dr brenner behind a glass pane, taking notes on his clipboard.
007 who lashes out when told his mother is dead. he knows she’s alive. somewhere. he can feel her. 007 who begins to lash out at anyone who comes close. they are the bad guys. they took him from her.
007 who kills a guard and steals his key ring to sneak 008 out. though he’s stopped before he can follow. he cannot wander free. but he cannot be here anymore.
a small device is implanted in his neck. hooked up to several wires to his brain, his memories are stolen, replaced with new ones. with fake ones. ones of a father who always travels for work and a mother who follows to keep an eye on his secretary, yet still somehow manages to keep a name for herself.
he does not question waking up in a bland, plaid room. no emotion, no personality in the space. it is normal to him. it is all he knows. this is steve’s room. it always has been.

Headcanon that Steve's Dad and Uncle Wayne were in high school together and Mr Harrington was essentially an even more of an asshole season 1 Steve. So when Wayne hears Eddie complain about Steve in highschool he's not exactly suprised. But when he finally meets Steve, who incidentally showed up in the middle of the night, cut on his forehead and a fresh shiner, being held close by his nephew with silent tears, he thinks maybe he was wrong and Steve was just another target like he was.

If I had a nickel for every time two very gay-seeming male teachers took a bunch of school kids on a Europe trip and became one of the best ships in that piece of media I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The one from heartstopper is canon they are a couple, the one from far from home is a ship that probably only exists in my own head.

My brain Does Not Want to Work right now (I’m running on, like, negative sleep and less coffee than I need) but I was reading fics and I realized something. And I need someone to write it, please.
Peter Parker’s teacher is called Mr. Harrington. I can’t remember if we get a first name or if he’s just Mr. Harrington.
And we all know how in like 85% of fics, Steve Harrington ends up as a teacher.
Steve Harrington, who knows the look in his own eyes in the mirror, in Eddie’s eyes, in the Party’s eyes.
Steve Harrington, who sees the same look in Peter Parker’s eyes. Who sees Peter rushing into class, almost-late, saved-by-the-bell, too many tardies mysteriously explained away.
Steve Harrington, who has a soft spot for Peter, because he knows what ‘mysteriously explained away’ means, and considers contacting Owens, because why the fuck are they using goddamn kids again.
Peter Parker, who likes Mr. Harrington because he doesn’t ask questions, just smiles kindly at him when he rushes in almost-late, when he accidentally falls asleep in class only to jerk awake at the bell.
Peter Parker, who considers confiding in Mr. Harrington, because he recognizes the look in his eyes, he knows what it means, and surely this wouldn’t be the craziest thing he’s ever heard if his eyes already look like that.
Peter Parker who asks Mr. Harrington for a meeting with his guardian, because something about him tells Peter he can trust him.
Steve Harrington, who walks into the meeting and realizes it’s not what he thought when Tony Stark greets him.
Steve Harrington, who, after the meeting, helps explain away absences and tardies and missing homework.
Steve Harrington and Peter Parker, who work together and form a bond born only of trauma, and the need to protect.

This idea got very out of hand but:
I just really love the idea of Steve going toe-to-toe against Neil Hargrove with his S1 attitude. Like Neil wouldn’t know how to handle this cocky little All-American hometown golden boy who is used to daddy’s money always saving the day.
Maybe Neil goes after Billy because he finds out about him and Steve, but Steve steps in and is like “yeah I don’t think so.” But we all know Steve isn’t the best fighter, so Neil clocks him.
But instead of getting mad, Steve thinks it’s hilarious because he’s totally about to pull a “my father will hear about this” and tells Neil how bad he’s fucked up and to expect a call from the family lawyer.
And maybe Neil thinks when he tells Mr. Harrington about what Steve and Billy have been up to, then he’ll understand. But he grossly underestimates the toxic impact wealth can have on people so instead Mr. Harrington is just like “I don’t care if my son was sucking cock on Main Street in the middle of the day, a Harrington does what he wants when he wants.”
And Neil is absolutely floored that Mr. Harrington could not care less about his son’s sexuality. Meanwhile Steve’s dad is still just like “My son can sleep with whoever he wants and I can’t believe you would be stupid enough to punch a Harrington. I’m going to ruin you.”
And maybe Mr. Harrington isn’t going to win a Father or Husband of the Year award anytime soon, but he’ll be god damned if anyone is going to lay hands on a Harrington without suffering the consequences.
Following this Billy moves in with the Harringtons and Steve’s parents just jokingly refer to Billy as “Steven’s little boy toy” for a while not taking the relationship seriously, thinking his infatuation is cute but will eventually die off. But then after a while they start noticing Steve doing better in school, becoming more goal-oriented, and realizing the positive impact his relationship with Billy has on him.
So now Billy is basically their son too.

People in the ST fandom DO know that Steve does actually have parents right? Like the “they’re NEVER home and Steve is NEGLECTED” trope is all fanon? Y’all know that’s not canon right?

So apparently in the mcu Peter Parker has a teacher named mr Harrington and now I’m thinking what it would be like if it was Steve Harrington and it’s a situation where something bad happens to the class so Peter has to become Spider-Man to save the day but then mr Harrington pulls out a nail studded bat from out of nowhere and now the class don’t know whether to be more shocked that Peter is Spider-Man or that their teacher is a badass

I literally have no clue why people just assumed steve has shitty parents..based off what? that steve thinks his mum went with his dad on the business trip because he would cheat otherwise(in season 1!!)?? That's probably just what steve thinks. It might not even be true..
Also nobody can change my mind but his parents are John and Alison

Mr. Harrington: About Nancy?

Mr. Harrington: Your job?
Steve: I don't know.
Mr. Harrington: Your future!?
Steve: Okay I am going to go ahead and hit you with an...I don't know.
