Mk1 movie/actor blooper idea!

Just picturing the scene where the three Lin Kuei bros are in that room chillin.

Tomas: if he were here, Father would have told us to wait.

Bi-Han: but he’s not here. And I’m Grandmaster!

Kuai: his teachings did not pass with him.

Bi-Han: you know what teaching passed to me? Sitting in a chair properly! Sit your ass down right!

Tomas: *bursts out laughing*

Kuai: *pouts while moving down and sitting on the couch properly*

Tomas: *starts laughing harder*

Bi-Han: *looks away trying not to laugh*

Director: cut!

And all three of them are sort of laughing about before continuing.

I also have a headcanon for this that Bi-Han’s actor and Mileena and Kitana’s actors are all related. Idk why but I just thought it would have been kind of cute?? I’m not sure how well to explain it but like, Bi-Han’s actor got the job and then he found his twin sisters got their first role only to come to set and see them both in costume. And there’s some behind the scenes stuff of them doing typical sibling fighting/teasing when on breaks.

Also fun twist that Mileena’s actor is actually the younger of the two while Kitana’s is older. Just like a funny twist because the kharacters are the other way around.

Running Lines Scenario: Bi-Han/Sub-Zero

The sexual tension in the next scene with Bi-Han is intense, underlying or not. You are not sure how to accurately portray it, and you doubt that Johnny will tone down the mood. It is not that you are uncomfortable with it, you have acted out more intense scenes, but in a movie such as 'Mortal Kombat', you are not sure why your character must feel so attracted to one of the story's minor antagonists.

You (thinking): I mean, I understand. Bi-Han is hot.

Having worked closely with him for the past few weeks, you had developed a bit of a crush on him, but due to your career, you decided to treat it as no more than just that, a minor crush.

You: Might as well get this over with.

To practice, you ask Bi-Han, your scene partner, to run lines with you. He agrees, thankfully, and meets you in your trailer.

You: Johnny is really pushing this sexual tension between our characters.

Bi-Han: I have noticed, but for good reason I assume.

You suppose. This sort of attraction does draw in audiences, if done right.

You: Let's start then.

Taking a few steps back from him, to get the feel of the scene, you take a deep breath.

You (scoffing): Loyalty? You speak of it as if you never betrayed us. You have no--

Bi-Han (interrupting): Do not question my loyalty.

He pauses to point at you.

Bi-Han: It was you who turned your back on the Lin Kuei.

You force yourself to tear up.

You: You gave me no choice, Bi-Han.

Taking a lax fighting pose, you act as though you are preparing yourself for a fight. He does the same.

Bi-Han: This childish defiance can not continue.

In the scene, you are meant to attack him first, but Bi-Han drops the pose and walks toward you.

You: It's off a bit, right? Do you want--

Before you can finish, he gently grabs your face and leans in, kissing you. Immediately your eyes widen and your heart races. This is not in the scene. Is this for real?

Leaning back, he grins.

You: I...don't think--

Bi-Han: Use that. Put your all into it and I will reward you.

Your face heats up. Damn, you did not get to kiss him back. You want to.

You: From the top.

Bi-Han agrees and returns to his spot.

If anything you are more motivated than ever to nail this scene. And you have no doubt you will.

And this superstar, this gorgeous man approaches him in one of fancy clubs (also belongs to gangsters) and flirts with him openly, he buys Johnny drinks and before he knows, Johnny drags him in bathroom, makes two lines of cocains, Johnny gets high so fast (you never get used to drugs) while Kenshi's still sober (he's a criminal after all, it takes more than one line to get him high) and they make out in the bathroom, Johnny pulls him in one of stalls and drop on his knees as Kenshi caresses his face, runs fingers through soft, brown strands of hair...💕

Sad news to report. Ken Lally, the voice of Tomas Vrbaba aka Smoke, as well as Goro & Shinnok in Mortal Kombat 9, and a TON of other roles in many other games & other forms of media, passed away suddenly recently.

If you played MK9 & used Smoke, you probably have his voice in your head repeating that legendary line "Where there is Smoke, there is fire." RIP Ken.
