The Clone Wars 2x12 ‘The Mandalore Plot’ Reaction
I love Satine. She is AMAZING. She is so fierce, takes absolutely no nonsense, stands up for what she believes in, is exceptionally competent and skilled in her areas of speciality (diplomacy etc), calls out Obi-Wan on his philosophical jedi bullshit and saves his life as well. And the sass. The Sass. It is off the charts. They spend the entire time flirting under the pretence of verbal jousting, sassing back and forth at each other. I love it. I love them. I spent so much of this episode just CACKLING.
Satine and Obi-Wan are perfect together. They compliment each other so well. They’re one of those couples that are just meant for each other. They’re soul mates (if this was a Soul Mates AU). Yes I know what happens shhh just let me enjoy this
I know I go on about Space Husband Cody all the time but Obi-Wan and Satine are just so good together. Obi-Wan can have a Space Royalty Wife and a Space Warrior Husband, as a treat. Or they could all just get together as a throuple. Actually, Satine, Cody and Obi-Wan as a throuple sounds most excellent. Ultimate power throuple right there.
Anyway, onwards to the live-blogging style portion of this reaction post.

Oooh that’s a pretty building. Not particularly tactically secure though seeing as its walls and ceiling are made of glass. Though that makes sense as a pacifist statement I suppose.

Those strange shimmering noises appeared again. Also, the ominous music is about as unsubtle as Obi-Wan’s flirting. I think, just maybe, that they might be trying to tell us that *gasp* something sinister is going on here!
There seems to be quite a few lingering shots on the Prime Minister. Does he do something nefarious later down the line?

The little pauses in “It’s so good to see you again Obi-Wan” aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Death Watch. That’s a subtle name.
“Small group of hooligans.” Well that’s going to come back and bite you now isn’t.
“Most distasteful.” Dooku doing the absolute most to chew all of the scenery on this holocall.
First philosophy lesson of the episode. Satine has a damn good point and she’s not letting Obi-Wan get away with any noble jedi bullshit.

Obi-Wan just deciding what to do for Satine’s safety. I get that it’s probably a good idea but also side eyeing.
Ok that was not something I’d ever expect them to show in a “kids tv show”, that was rough and intense.
Is this the first time we hear the Mando’a language spoken?
There’s a lot of religious iconography going on in this episode. The building that Obi-Wan meets the Prime Minister and Duchess Satine in, which looks like a church interior. That hand reaching towards the light.
You two are great and all but why are you sassing each other over the very recently dead dude who is right there?!

I’m loving the music in this episode. It’s been consistently excellent throughout TCW but this episode especially it is really heightening and adding to everything.
This entire scene of Satine trying to subtly communicate with Obi-Wan without alerting Vizla is peak ridiculous campy TCW comedy
“I’m in a bit of an awkward spot” Obi-Wan does like using that phrase when the situation is much worse than he’s letting on. He did the same thing in 2x9 ‘Grievous Intrigue’ when he asked Anakin to pick them up from a ship that was in the middle of exploding in space.
Why did one of the Mandalorians have an OTT south London gangster accent?
What are those? Random demonstration space pumpkins to emphasise the squishing Obi-Wan is about to receive?

I am CACKLING at their sassing of each other. Obi-Wan is metres away from being pureed and they’re still bantering.
This is definitely me reading far too much into things but that look of relief on Obi-Wan’s face looked suspiciously like an orgasm face. Apt seeing as this is the episode where he reconnects with his old flame.
“Unseemly pleasure” hmmm indeed.
That’s where you’re supposed to kiss dammit.

gonna indulge my inner ed here and split a hair real fine, but because i have somehow never talked about this: why the semantic difference between ‘stede burned that ship down’ and ‘stede said a lot of entirely true but very uncomfortable to acknowledge stuff, and doing that led to a bunch of new money assholes losing their absolute shit on main and burning their own ship down’ is pulling so fucking much thematic weight it kills me.
i’ve said it that first way before jokingly and i will say it again, but the other is actually a lot more accurate.
because what’s the actual sequence of events? not just the consequences, but the context.
- stede asks if they want to play a game in a way they could avoid by not being insecure little noveau riche babies; they take the bait much in the manner of fish stuck in the proverbial about to be bullet-riddled barrel
- stede says a bunch of true stuff about these people, things they are ashamed of and lie about but are 100% accurate. not insults! just facts.
- they delight in the first few chances to shame each other, but as stede keeps going and the secrets expose them all to the truths they all sort of already knew but balanced their social circles on not openly acknowledging, they go absolutely hog fuckin wild, fight in the parking lot of the shittiest bar i ever worked at style.
- while they go apeshit and attack each other and burn things, stede (and everybody else in this scene we actually like) stands back and goes ‘...wow, these people are really doing this??? really??? fuckin’... wow. oh shit, are they gonna kill each other for real? and they say we’re uncivilized.’
so stede’s not insulting these people, and even better: he’s not being passive aggressive.
he is, in fact, being the exact opposite of passive aggressive. he’s being honest. and it’s not that ‘oh, i’m just brutally honest so you have to let me get away with out of pocket shit’ crap people pull when they’re looking to be cruel but don’t want to admit it.
that one dude IS embezzling! those two siblings ARE going full dime store lannister! that one dude DID have a child out of wedlock with that other chick!
(i love the inclusion of that one in particular, and how it’s markedly different than what comes after: because i think p solidly that’s the only one where i’m like, hey: as long as everybody involved was chill, who cares? that’s as morally neutral as having a baby with someone you are married to: the context is where the ballgame lies, on that one.
but these people care. they really, REALLY care. and they care because society has told them they have to care, if they don’t want to end up shamed by said society for it.
outside some select exceptions that mostly come down to ‘ahahahaha capitalism can go fuck itself, the phrase cost of living is far more obscene than most of the words you can’t say on broadcast tv’, i would agree the other truths stede reveals are baseline Not Great. however: fucking somebody you’re not married to only matters if the people involved decide it does, there’s no general moral absolute there.
like, look. this is why i find debates about if humans are ‘meant’ for monogamy or polyamory tedious and wrongheaded at the same time. are we meant to be on sailboats, or eat cheese? who fuckin’ knows, and who fucking cares. those are all questions that cannot be answered on any practical or universal level.
we are MEANT to make our own choices, and do what works best for us. the presumption that monogamy is moral or natural versus just... sometimes easier to navigate, because good communication is key to a healthy relationship and the more people there are, the more communicating must be done, is stupid. god knows plenty of monogamous couples cannot communicate for shit. there’s no right way or silver bullet there, and given the lucius and pete of it all, ofmd obviously knows that.

anyway, tangent over: nothing stede says is not just the simple, unvarnished truth.
if these people weren’t ashamed of themselves and so afraid of the truth it drives them to freak the fuck out and vomit on each other mid-fight and then burn their own fucking ship down, none of this would be happening. literally none of it!
they react to the truth like stede does set the ship on fire: but that’s all them. they set their own ship on fire. stede doesn’t do anything but hold a mirror up to their faces and i don’t think there’s an argument here that he shouldn’t have said that stuff, unless you think society should run on people never telling each other the truth if it would be uncomfortable, lest we run wild in the streets and literally burn everything down.
which is a fun little thematic wink/echo: stede breaks their world there, and he does it by working with his actual natural allies and in particular, by listening to frenchie and then going to ask abshir for his help, because he knows things stede doesn’t and stede literally cannot pull this off without him. so stede shows solidarity, and having recently realized this dynamic is a thing he’s gonna have to be aware of and start pushing against if he genuinely cares about ed, actively and purposefully uses the social privilege looking the way he looks, and having the money he has granted him.
but what he does with it makes all the difference. because having realized these people will listen to him in a way they will not listen to ed, he takes that assumed right to hold the floor and he uses it to burn the motherfuckin system of agreed-upon dishonesty calling itself politeness down. the system, not the ship.
(there’s a read on ‘these are my people’ that’s a lot sadder/less positive, and i think that’s in the mix too, but for this part of stede’s development i love what it also means about how he’s realized the world looks at ed and makes some assumptions they will never, ever make about stede or the other rich white people in that ship.)
so tldr: stede doesn’t actually burn the ship down, not outside the broadest ‘this was what happened next’ terms.
the rich assholes burn their own ship down, because they literally cannot handle the basic truths about themselves being spoken aloud, and that context makes a whooooole lotta difference.
i mean... this SHOW. what the fuck? i just wanna talk to these writers.

ahahahaha, I have become an inadvertent vector for this show in the past couple of days. I will do my best to explain!
Kiseki: Dear to Me is the Taiwanese BL Cinematic Universe answer to Kinnporsche. What if there was a very gay mafia that really only took the "be gay" part of "be gay, do crime" seriously?
Arguably, there is a plot that kicks off with the main couple's meet ugly when kinda undercover mafia guy gets stabbed and blackmails a hapless high school senior just trying to pass his exams to get into a premed program into helping him, but whatever, that's not important.
What's important is Ai Di and Chen Yi, the side ship. Ai Di is the most adorable violent pocket-sized attack dog gremlin you will ever see. Terrier anger issues for days. All the style on the show. PINING so hard for his bestie/mafia subgroup leader/birthday twin.
What does the show entail, aside from vague attempts at plot and never enough Ai Di screen time? Attempts to shoehorn in every trope you could want! Forced proximity! Only one bed! Thunderstorm h/c! Amnesia! A time skip! A bakery! They also take a moment to celebrate the legalization of gay marriage in Taiwan!
As with all entries in the Taiwanese BL Cinematic Universe (see also: Plus & Minus, My Tooth Your Love, Be Loved In House: I Do, ... I think I'm forgetting at least one, they all make random crossover cameos in the other shows) this show has some pacing issues and takes some wild tonal turns, but it is short, and yes, it does have a happy ending! For multiple ships, even!

Ahh, this is interstin’. This sure is a comedy through and through, ain’t it?
Though it got a bit turbulent at the end. But I had no idea Valkyrie could put on a slapstick so well, I’m laughin’ a lot!
W-Was that okay of me to? Wasn’t I supposed t’be quiet durin’ the performance?
Raffaello: “You are fine. It’s simply a play being watched among relatives. If anything, since this is a comedy, it would be almost rude to the “comedians” if you didn’t laugh.”
Nazuna: …Meanwhile I can’t laugh at all, trying to predict what’s gonna happen next is hard on my heart.
This is no fairy tale. It was mentioned that this play was based on fact, so I definitely don’t expect “Boku” and “Ore” to have a happy ending together…
Yet, as the play progressed, I could see they were falling more and more for each other… Uu, agh~, I feel like runnin’ away!
I feel like I’m on a roller coaster that keeps climbing higher and higher!
Who knows when it’ll all go down south! This comedy that has you laugh to tears is probably just a prelude to a tragedy so devastating you can’t even shed a tear!

Kuro: Right, that personal novel, or that diary was concluded t’be fiction? That was another mystery wasn’t it. What was it in the end?
Raffaello: “It was a personal novel, or rather, an autobiography, that I wrote during my spare time in my hospital room, as I reflected upon my own life.”
“It was something written only to pass the time, and was not originally intended for anyone to read. It was something I had been planning to take to my grave.”
“But whilst writing the story, I began to feel a little regretful.”
“You could say that the reason I held that absurd Funeral Contest of mine was to erase those regrets.”
Nazuna: Regrets…?
Raffaello: “You’ll understand if you watch the performance.”
“No. Shu-kun… As of right now, he is leading the audience towards an interpretation that everyone would be able to understand.”
“That’s what this performance is for.”

“Act 2! From hereon begins the second part!”
“In stark contrast to the comedy of the first act, the second act is a tragedy!”

(Time has passed, and “Boku” has since become a fine adult man. He returns to that mansion of roses in search of the beloved girl he has missed dearly.)
(However, that mansion had fallen into decay.)
(All the roses had withered, and within the garden lay the remains of a similarly tattered, beautiful doll.)
(And there, he realized that upon the walls of the mansion, written in the color of roses, like fresh blood, was that simple fondness said to him from when “Boku” and “Ore” first spoke together.)

woozi! he’s the first member of svt that i could successfully pick out of a lineup, lol. i saw his suchwita episode before i’d ever heard any of svt’s music, and i really adored his personality, which contributed to my descent into madness (caratdom).

oh, good lord. this is so hard. yoongi is my first ever bias. like, he’s my helen of troy, and the war i went to over him was getting into k-pop ☠️ BUT i deep dove into gose while i was dealing with the death of a loved one, and dk especially brought me so much joy so ??? GAH. both. it’s both.
3. if you were to spend the day with either 3 or 1, who would you choose and what would you do?
frick!! none of these are going to be easy, huh? ummmm. i feel like spending even one minute with hoshi would be too much combined power, leading to some cataclysmic event where the world explodes, so…. for safety’s sake, dino. we can sip a lil beveragino and laugh ourselves stupid 💘 just a pair of enfjs having heart-to-heart convos; it’s casual.

his nose?? is that weird? the lil bump on the bridge, the freckle, the pointed tip — 10/10, no notes.

dk is so asdfghjkl radiant. everything he does is charming, but in a very approachable way, that’s silly and self-aware. i love people who are secure in themselves in a way that lets them be goofy with reckless abandon. and he is, and watching him restores +120 HP. that seems to be his effect on svt as a whole, which i’m also grateful for.
6. if you were to tell 8 anything you wanted, what would you tell them?
you really are the prettiest woman in the world 😌

ahahahaha truthfully, i don’t see myself wearing either of their styles because they’re the kings of shapeless clothing 99% of the time, and that’s not my vibe at all. HOWEVER, if i must choose, i’d say hoshi. he has been known to serve cunt on occasion — and i hope the ridiculous hat from the cheers mv is in his closet 👀

Translating Varka’s Comments on Il Capitano in His Letter
Small spoilers for the first quest of the “Of Ballads and Brews” event.

Hey, it’s a really quick translation that focuses specifically on Varka’s comments on “The Captain” Il Capitano in his letter that Mika read out. It’s really an amazing sight, seeing all these Knights gathered before the Acting Grand Master Jean. I love this shot! And I like how when Varka is bragging about his captains, we’re shown Kaeya specifically. (Our beloved) Kaeya must be truly powerful too. It’s heartwarming how much confidence Varka has in the Knights of Favonius captains.

Alright, this fluctuation in translation quality is typical of the official English translation. Something obvious is missed, a common simile is mistranslated, and a pun is not registered resulting in an awkward translation, although the basic content in the first two screenshots are well done.

In the first screenshot, Varka specifically says “these past two months” instead of “in the past couple of months” in the first four characters 这两个月. It’s not a shorthand. It’s impossible to miss. I don’t know how the official English translation managed to do so.

In the second screenshot, it’s written as one long sentence in Chinese, though it may be seen as a run-on sentence. The second sentence’s structure can be difficult to translate, but it’s possible to retain the same fluency in one English sentence with a couple of conjunctions instead of splitting up the sentence. This is just my personal translation style of matching with the original sentence structure as close as possible.
The first three characters 那家伙 is an informal way to refer to someone, typically a man. Instead of “the man” it’s better translated as “that guy”.
钢铁般的人 literally translates to “steel-like man” but when used as a simile, “man of steel” is a known English phrase for describing a very strong man. It fits Il Capitano since he is very powerful in physique and combat and he literally has a steel mask, so I’m not sure why the official English translation chose to say “hard as iron”. Dare I say, it even sounds unnecessarily suggestive.

In the third screenshot, Varka uses really casual language and thus the word order in 队长咱们骑士团有十个呢 is not textbook. The sentence translates to “And us Knights have ten of ‘em captains” though literally speaking the word order is more so “Captains us Knights have ten.”
This is a pun since in the text, 队长 is mentioned twice, first referring to the Fatui Harbinger “The Captain” and then the ten captains of the Knights of Favonius. Varka is basically saying that no matter how powerful The Captain (Il Capitano) is, he is only one “captain”, and in terms of “captains”, the Knights of Favonius has ten, so the Knights outnumber him in that sense. From the previous section though, it’s obvious Varka knows the extent of Il Capitano’s power and abilities as a Harbinger. However, Varka is also one of the most powerful people in Mondstadt, so he has extreme confidence in his Knights while also joking around to lighten the mood and not make the Knights in Mondstadt worry about Il Capitano.
Unfortunately, this joke about “And us Knights have ten of ‘em captains” was completely missed in the official English translation. A shame, really, that Varka’s extreme confidence in the Knights’ captains is not brought across. The official English translation of “There are ten captains in the Knights of Favonius but only one Grand Master” sounds unnecessary and awkward because it’s not registered as a joke thus it’s an important line wasted.
Casual word order is really difficult to understand if you’ve only been taught textbook order…On one hand, that’s understandable since informal Chinese word order can be really fluid, on the other hand, this only proves even further the basic level of the official English translation.

Conclusion
In the end, some important parts were completely missed, and some other parts were not very accurate. The official English translation’s quality really fluctuates a lot… Not unlike the winds of Mondstadt, hahaha! And there I thought the notes would be short. Anyway, thank you so much for reading up ‘till this point! It’s pretty fun to see what the Knights of Favonius Grand Master thinks of The Captain of the Fatui Harbingers.
P.S.: I wrote this in one sitting and severely underestimated how long it takes to explain the nuances, haha!

id love to talk more about harry and mj!!! theyre so much fun to explore because im trying to go out of my way to not make them so cookie-cutter.
harry and mj really became friends only because of peter -- harry and peter having known each other from a young age, and peter meeting mj during freshman year of highschool (i picture them all to be juniors by the time peter becomes spidey, so like ~16). initially they didnt really get along, since harry is very sarcastic/dry and mj is very energetic/outgoing. but they do bond over a shared interest of video games and horror movies (though horror is more of harry's thing, and games mj's), and mj loves to show harry all the tricks about piracy, game hacks, stuff like that. very much encouraging harry to break rules and anger his dad.
mj probably has some surface-level crushes on people in their highschool -- you know, typical teenager stuff of "oh this persons so cute" etc etc, but mj really starts to crush on peter after peter develops his powers and decides to try and become a superhero. the main dynamic between mj and peter is that mj is a bit careless about other people, and sometimes even with his friends. he's not really self-ish, but can be self-centered, though he does genuinely love and care for peter, harry and his family. he's just way more morally grey than the other two of the trio. so when peter starts trying to become spiderman and help people, purely for a desire to do good with the powers he was given, mj sees that true kindness peter has and is enraptured by it, is honestly really moved. peter, on the other hand, is encouraged to think outside the box about things and be more daring because of mj and how he goes about life.
mj and peter are supposed to be slight foils to each other, with harry acting as middle-man neutral. its a bit of a fun dynamic to think about, and i wanna do more with. love harry though. hes just tried all the time and 1000% done with everything.

I want to talk about former-lawyer-turned-editor!adam bc honestly. Same. As an associate in a biglaw firm where Adam might have worked, the associate-to-non-legal-profession pipeline is sooooo real. The nervous breakdown is also incredibly common. you nailed the depiction of Adam’s increasingly overwhelmed psyche leading to his breakdown because yes! That’s what working a minimum of 14 hours every day and routinely pulling all-nighters does to you! Profession with highest s**cide rates, baby!
The only “unrealistic” thing is Adam’s modest apartment ahahahaha I’m p sure he would have been able to afford sth really fancy even after quitting his job thanks to savings (look up the Cravath scale). But overall, love the realism of it 💕 and simultaneously jealous that Adam is free of this industry leaving his best life 😢
hey!!! thanks!!! i'm never really going for realism in my fics honestly, but i'm glad it rang true for you. i know a lot of people who have been on similar journies - high stress corpo job to low stress (or "low stress") non-corpo job - but i've never personally worked corporate, so i guessed at a lot of it.
as far as his apartment goes - it's been a while, so i can't remember the exact details of how i describe it, but i always imagined it was more like, a bridget jones, friends style apartment, not huge but still nice enough that you think "how can he afford that", you know?

I'm originally from Ireland (this is the most frequent question I get asked both irl and online ahahahaha). I love pretty much any country I've had the privilege of visiting. But here is a shortlist (it's still long). :P
I love France for its culture. My interest in the country started when I was quite young (once I learned where the Mona Lisa was located lol, and by the time I was 7/8, I was obsessed). It was the first country I visited abroad with my mother when I was eight years old (you can guess which city it was :P). So yeah, many memories and childhood attachment lol. Obviously there are problems there but there are problems everywhere I've been; I don't think a single country exists without its problems.
I really like Austria because I've been in love with Vienna since I was 14. I learned about Kaiserin Elisabeth of Austria while there for the first time, and it totally changed my own direction in life (I was inspired to really discover my own sense of style from that point on thanks to that trip and leanring about Sisi). I haven't had the chance to see the rest of Austria, but a good friend has, and we both agree that country is a vibe. The people tend to be a bit reserved (in Vienna, at least, from my experience) and conservative in a lot of places (my friend can confirm too), however, which is not so wonderful.
All the Nordic countries. Each one is so fascinating!!! I'd especially love to visit Sweden and Norway. The fondness for Sweden has been around since I was six, when I was in choir and our choir director explained a Swedish tradition of Lucia. Every 13 December (the feast day of Santa Lucia, an Italian saint who is widely celebrated in Scandinavia for the celebration of light) choirs dress in white gowns, and elect a girl to portray the saint, who then wears a white gown with a red sash and a wreath of candles on her head. She leads the procession and there's beautiful singing. There's much more detail etc available online, I won't rant too much here. :P But I love it. I would love to see Norway as Edwige apparently adored it there, so I'd love to explore it.
Italy because food, fashion, and VIBES. Is it politically a mess rn? Yeah but it's often been like that unfortunately. I would love to see more of the country. <3
Poland gets an honourary mention bc I've never got to visit yet but two of my good friends are from there and I love them to bits. <333 Again, government is INSANE, but you'll meet some of the most amazing souls and beautiful places there too.
MÉXICOOOOOOOOOO I wanna visit so bad bc the culture is BEAUTIFUL and every person I've had the blessing of meeting are also amazing, amazing souls. <3333 So yeah that would be a dream trip for sure, to see the real Mexico, not just the touristy parts. I wanna go at so many times of year for different celebrations ahaha. I've been told I absolutely must see Guanajuato.
There are so many more countries I'd love to talk about bc I really do like many lol, but I'll spare you all :P

I'm new to fanfic world. First it was a couple of patpran fics and then straight to vegapete. I fell in love with yours and Kerrikins' individual works. I didn't know that you were familiar with each other. Imagine my surprise when you announced your collab! Will we ever get some details about this collab once you complete MTHBF? It would be very interesting to get to know how you figure out the plot, the writing style ect, generally the whole progress of a collab writing.
You know, honestly, I don't think either @kerrikins or I thought people would want to know about our process! Collab processes are different for every pairing of authors, but I don't mind talking about ours a little bit!
So the idea both to do a collab and to do an HP AU were both Kerri's! I added the bet as a layer, and things just kind... sprung out from there lol. Honestly our plotting process is very mushy in a funny way, because both of us tend to be more structured when we write on our own. But a lot of this story was just us being like "wouldn't it be fun if" or "hey what if they" or "wouldn't it be funny if" and that just morphed into different ideas and scenes.
Our plotting process is usually those ideas and then we just find places to fit them in around the climatic pieces - and we kind of had an idea of where we were going from the start, tho the stories and characters evolved a bit as the story progressed, and we just adjusted our plotting to manage that! And got kind of... bigger than we expected lol we originally thought it would be 10 chapters max ahahahaha
The writing itself is the funnest part - so each of us writes a selection of characters and we pass the story back and forth as the characters interact. So I write character A and I'll do his POV scenes but when Kerri's character B is there and has dialogue, I'll pass it to her and she'll write that and pass it back. And same in reverse. It's almost like RP but... not lmao
It's super fun though, it's like the fun of improv while still kind of knowing where you're going. I hope that explanation made sense at all ahahaha it's honestly just a ton of back and forth and flexing and planning and Kerri and I just click really well! Neither of us have issues changing things or have egos in the mix, so we haven't had any issues writing together so far and are planning other possible collabs in the future!

Mmnn... I don't think so? If I always wanted to play someone, I probably went and did so. It may take a while to get there, but i'll do it. I'm loyal to my desires and if I really want to do something, i'll do it- tho I suppose there was a time I wanted to basically muse the entirety of the 'Trash of the Count's Family' series lol
Then the thing with licensing getting revoked happened and so the people who were translating the novel had to stop and that made me go 'oh- nvm then'. Apparently Korea does that sometimes, let you have licensing to get popularity up and then revoke it and ask someone else to do an 'official' translation. Bah. <- I'm Korean, so please no one take this as me just hating for no reason or smth.
♣ Is there an author(s) that you look up to with your writing skills?
No, the thing is, with me, I don't usually look up to people. I respect them, sure, but I don't look up to people in the way like idolizing them. That's just not how my personality works. I just appreciate the writing skills of everyone I interact with and that's that. I don't like find a person and go 'oh wow their writing style is so good! I look up to them!' nah, it's more like 'oh wow they're really good at writing! I wanna write with them'.
♥ What's your favorite ship with your muse?
Mmmm so in general, my favorite ship with Haru is Hibari and Haru (bc I'm the bitch who ships my favorites together AHAHAHAHA), and Gokudera and Haru (because of old cosplay nostalgia reasons).
My favorite ships currently with Haru would be Byakuran and Haru (bc it is in the works right now) and Gokudera and Haru (also basically a thing currently). Belphegor and Haru was also very big for me though that ship kinda died so- yeah. It still has a very strong place in my heart, don't get me wrong. It's just hibernating.
✿ Do you have a mun FC? If so why did you choose that as your FC, and if not who would you choose?
On this blog, it's Tsukuyo from Gintama. Many eons ago, I with a group of fans just made up a lil family of people and we kinda associated ourselves with a character from the series. So, as the founder of sorts of this group of people, I had the mother role and I liked Tsukuyo, so yeah. For nostalgia reasons, I kept her as a FC in RPC.

This insufferable mother f*cker. He was such a pain in the ass with his 'PRAISE BE ME, I AM THE GREATEST. WORSHIP ME AND THIS BODY FOR I AM THE PEAK OF GREATNESS!' bs-- I LOVED HIM. KEK. Super narcissistic lol. Love him so much. Still do. I could consider playing him still, but mmmmm nah. The people I did write him with went bye bye and I brought him in for them- so since they're gone-- he sleeps.

🎨 When did you start creating art for the Inception fandom, and what is your inspiration?
Since about 2019 and I was inspired by all the amazing artists this fandom has welcomed!
🎨 Tell us about your creative process, and which part do you enjoy the most about it?
ahahahaha my creative process is usually a few hours of draw a line, ctrl Z, repeat, accompanied by much swearing.
🎨 Link us to your first and latest artwork, and how your style has evolved since then?
My first official artwork for Inception was a photomanip for the 2020 Inception Big Bang because I didn't trust my drawing skills much. My latest major artwork was one I did for the 2021 Inception Reverse Bang and I think it's a pretty decent progression! I seem to be tending toward fairly simple and strong lines, but I still have much practice to do before I really see where my style is going :)
🎨 What is your absolute favorite piece of art that you've made, and why?
I think the piece that I did of a skeletal hand holding an Edison bulb with a faintly glowing skeleton inside is the one I've shown to the most people outside of fandom XD
🎨 What is something about Inception that you really want to make art for someday, and why?
I have been lucky enough to have incredibly talented artist friends who've gifted me with art for some of my stories, but I'd really like to someday do pieces myself for a few of my fics that started out as powerful images. Also, I'd like to get confident enough to gift my art to friends to accompany some of their work! LOL, I suppose that means I need to practice more frequently.

Loves tickling so much, like actually literally. Genuinely believes it as a fun way of trust and contact.
When laughing too hard, his early season southern drawl comes back. Also likes to use it to tease.
Tickle bites, noms, verbal teases and wiggles fingers as a ler. Very fraternal. Like, a cool dad, you know?

Most frequent lee was Larry, doesn't tickle much now outside of his circle. Gets wrecked by him too. They both have wildly different styles of teasing which adds to the mistique of them being opposites. Likes to annoy him and be a little shit as a ler, such a teaser you dont even know.
Used to tickle his fellow teachers a lot. Most weren't a fan, so they all ganged up on him. Never 'gain. Calls people names like "pal, buddy, champ" when tickling.
His worst spots are his tummy, ribs and armpits. Just his whole torso will get him into tittering laughter which builds up into wheezy chortles.
He's made of this pillowy cloud like amterial, and when you sink your fingers into it, he feels those tickles on the inside- yk, like belly button tks,,

Needs tickles after working for soooooo long tbh, definetly deserves it. look at that face in the pic! Poor bby needs tickles.
Not ticklish in many places (yk, he's a rock).. *GETS BOOED LOUDLY OFF STAGE*-
OKAY OKAY OKAY but... he has a few death and melt spots that immediately make him fold. He shares his ribs with Larry, and they both delight in that fact, as well as his neck being a melt spot which brings him into soft giggles and his knees.
Before being tickled, he does the thing where it's like "WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT NO NO NO NO", and laughs like "he he HEHEHE- AHAHAHAHA- GAHAHAHA" and snort-laughs a ton. It's a really cute laugh ,, lol
Flighty and flinchy as a lee and very much secretive about his tickle love.
