Shen Yuan plants extra Sun and Moon Dew Flowers and uses them. It... doesn't work out quite the way he had hoped - you know, extra contingencies in case he gets killed again - because he wakes up after his death to see... himself. Not his reflection, but himself. Pointing at each other, gobsmacked.

That like spiderman meme.

Because each Sun and Moon Dew Flower did grow a perfect body for Shen Yuan to inhabit! Except now there's 3 Shen Yuan's running around with the same memory, personality, and looks.

Shen Yuan doesn't even know which one is supposedly the oldest, the OG, the real Shen Yuan! He's pretty sure he's the real Shen Yuan; but so do the other two!

What Shen Yuan does know, however, is that Cang Qiong seems to have an impression that there's a Shen Yuan library where they can check out a Shen Yuan for a couple hours! And Yue Qingyuan always goes for the Shen Yuan with the most annoyed looking expression Every Single Time...

Even though it's not the same Shen Yuan every time.

Shen Yuan prays that when Luo Binghe comes back, his little sheep isn't going to try to torture and kill all three Shen Yuans. But he's also scared AF that he might be the one Shen Yuan that gets picked out for revenge...

Luo Binghe, ready to vibrate out of his skin in excitement: Oh. My. God. Three Shizuns! HOW CAN I MARRY THEM ALL ASDFGHJKLKJ

Luo Binghe is too overwhelmed by his fantasies to remember his original goal of plotting revenge.

Thinking about Dew and Aether having a shower together, like just one of those plain ol showers, nothing spicy.

How Aether takes off all of his jewelry before a shower, Dew watching as he clasps his bracelets closed before laying them carefully in the ceramic dish one of the ghouls made during a brief pottery stint. Taking off his rings, placing one to the right side and the one he wears on his left hand (that Dew made for him) on the left side. He's very cautious of worldly possessions like jewelry, polishing the silver adornments once a week, sat at the kitchen table in a feeble attempt to undo the patina left behind by soap and hand sanitizer in the infirmary.

Meanwhile Dew is simply releasing his hair from the low bun it had been tied back in all day, before brushing it out haphazardly. The fire ghoul not caring about what happens to the jewelry he wears, a simple matching band on his left hand that is identical to the one he made Aether. Dew loved the look of patina, how tarnished and scratched jewelry shows the wearers commitment to longevity. Albeit in a different way.

The way they would enter the shower together, Aether wordlessly reaching for Dewdrop's shampoo and bringing the fire ghoul into the stream of water. Dewdrop melting into his touch as Aether takes care in washing his long blonde hair, before rinsing and repeating. Finding his conditioner and using a generous amount, before braiding his hair to let it sit. The pair silently hoping no major detangling would be needed afterwards, even though there always is.

The way after their shower they would sit together, Dew scrolling through shows on the television to watch while Aether works mercilessly at a knot that formed from Dewdrop's towel drying method. All before they settle on watching M*A*S*H again for the millionth time, just because Aether loves it and Dew loves listening to his quote the show mindlessly.

idea: jiang cheng gets his hands on the sun and moon dew flower and decides to regrow a body because wei wuxian is taking his sweet time coming back. shortly before the body is ready, mdzs goes down. some time after that the abandoned body unburies itself.

who comes back?

could be mdzs verse or crossover with other mxtx novels. either way i think it's a fun concept to rotate in your head.

I just wanted to share the fallen Dew version from the holy Dew commission cause I like him. The wings were a huge challenge. I redid them 4 times. But I like how fwoofy they are. I know this version is not how Abs describes him cause he doesn’t have wings. But I couldn’t resist.

He remembers crying when Lucifer's first words are repeated from this man with soft eyes."Tell me your name, Fallen."He remembers sobbing out the name The Morning Star had given him, forcing it from between his lips."Dewdrop."He remembers hearing it spoken out like a prayer, like his name held weight on the man's tongue.

Is anyone else out there sometimes flabbergasted by how beautifully written fanfiction can be?

Moon's Holy Dew series is absurdly good. It follows angel!Dew as he is cast out from heaven only to find the true meaning of unselfish love and acceptance among Lucifer and our beloved band of ghouls. It's poetic and heart wrenching but don't get me wrong--it is bursting at the seams with deliciously well-written smut.

There are so many passages that actually take my breath away that I could barely choose what quotes to include in this rec. For example:

The pangs of betrayal scream through his blood. He'd been a puppet, an actor in a play he never agreed to, held up by love fashioned into a noose, tightening around his throat a little more each day until it snuffed out his breath and sucked the Grace from his veins.

I also wanted to point out that this series touches on something that I think rings true for quite a few Ghost fans. Dew being cast out of heaven only to find love with the other ghouls directly parallels the real life experience of finding love and acceptance only once you're able to leave the church and sometimes the family who was supposed to love and accept you in the first place.

It's heavy but it's also healing (and oftentimes scorchingly hot). Please go check it out if you haven't already!

Did you know some plants, like Mint if i remember correctly, can do this? And pumpkin stems, but you need a special powder thingy-ma-bob for that.

Lots of plants can do it - especially ones with rhizome roots. Ginger, calla lilies, bulb flowers like tulips... Plus plants like hydrangea and tomatoes where, if you bury a section of its stem in soil, said section will sprout roots and you have a whole other plant. Then there's plants like bamboo and strawberries where roots will spread everywhere and shoot up more stems.

The ghoul pack had made its way down to the ghoul den, after the tour some very interesting feelings develop for Dewdrop from Phantom.

"He's kind of a dick y'know?" Phantom huffed out to Aurora, looking over at Dewdrop, who was with the pack. Phantom and Aurora had decided to sit away from the pack, talk about how things have been going more one on one. "And how is that?" Aurora asked, tilting her head onto her knee while she fidgetted with the fabric of her dress.

"He's just..." He paused, watching how easily Dewdrop had connected with others. Even with his shitty attitude problems, he had no issue making friends, getting to be himself...why did he get to be like tha- "You're staring." Aurora's words interrupted his thoughts, quickly turning back to look at Aurora. "Ah shit! Sorry!" He grumbled out, blocking Dewdrop from his view with his hand.

"So what's the deal?" Aurora asked the same question as before, just rewording it to ask again. "Hmph..." Phantom brought his knees up to his chin, "He's just got this asshole energy! Y'know?" He said, saying it much louder than intended. The words echoed slightly, but he refused to look around to see if any ghouls actually heard him.

"So he's giving off 'assho..." Phantom tilted his head over to glance at Dewdrop, quickly getting focused back on him. So fuckin' perfect all the time...what's your problem?! What makes you better than me? Do I not deser- He got snapped from his thoughts by Aurora literally snapping her fingers at him, "You're staring...again."

okay so theres this really beautiful song called Et Les Oiseaux Chantaient (And The Birds Were Singing) and it means so much to me and i love it with all my heart and i think Mountain plays it for Dew when hes little. Dew will be helping him out in the greenhouse but then start to get tired from all the hard work. This makes his drop tinier and Mountain notices this and scoops him up in his arms and takes him over to the wicker bench in the corner by his workbench. he lays him down on the leaf shaped cushions and slips his paci past his lips and wraps him up in his red blanket and gives him his kitty teddy to cuddle. then he moves over to the record player and puts the song on for him. soon the green house is filled with beautiful birdsong and the gentle crackling of the vinyl. Dew runs his hands along the wicker bench, feeling all of the bumps and dips with his fingers. the repetitive motion is really comforting and soon his eyes are atarting to droop. he fiddles with the frayed bits on the arms and breathes in the smell of wicker, the smell of the plants all around him and the smell of Mountain sitting at his workbench. when it comes to the cuckoo calls, Mountain replicates them with stunning accuracy and it makes Dew clap and wriggle and giggle. by the time the final cuckoo call sounds at the end of the song, the little ghoul has fallen asleep, feeling safe and warm and loved. Mountain gives him a kiss on the forehead, wishing him sweet dreams before he goes back to his workbench
