I had to fight a child because he was trying to rob me of my Monopoly money??? I tried to give him real money but he ended up crying and running away because it was blue.

fun fact! to my knowledge, ianthe is the only character to actually use the words "terrorist" or "terrorism".
edit: correction! judith also uses the term once in cohort intelligence files.

I want to write down my thoughts about this but i dont want to bother this poor OP lmao but yes at the same time what is the hague what is the point of a place where people go to get a conviction with no real ramifications (i.e. bolsonaro, i.e. in a little longer netanyahu)
this is really one of those situations that for anyone actually listening and actually thinking about this will either end in radicalization or you are simply fucking stupid. Because the outcomes of this are either Nothing, all out war between the countries that are accusing Israel of crimes or the us will be forced to call off its rabid dog called Israel And considering Joe Biden's position in this, nothing does seem to be the more probably end of this situation. Which isn't to say that trying that joke of a country at the hague isn't good or necessary, just that the literal farce of what we consider world governments and world peace actually seems to be collapsing in front of us??? Ppl who live in south america and don't have shit for brains have been aware of how little democracy and anything not maintained by direct violence or the threat of violence matters so. I guess my point is nothing will change if I personally don't get up and do either crimes or activism

Me and my brother were playing Monopoly, and I won. So he took out his gun and shot me in the shoulder.

I noticed that over the years there are 3 types of ancoms/anarcho syndicalists. *
*I use those terms interchangeably because they have the same flag. They look the same to me tbh.
Here they are:
Actually, principled ancom/anarcho syndicalist.
Closet tankie: They hate capitalism more than the state and tend to be apologists for a lot of socialist dictatorships.
Anarcho-social democrat: A socdem that just wants an edgy aesthetic. They will huff and puff about how edgy they are but when you really press them on what they want they just want social democracy like Sweden.

Are you not ready to give up on the word "terrorism", or "terrorist" yet? How many times do we need corporate news, cops, politicians, and the war hawks to pull that word out, to coax the public into a bloody frenzy against state enemies. It is a justification of the state's monopoly on violence. It is a trump card to dehumanize, and dismiss dissent. Crying terrorism is the state justifying even more asymmetric violence.
Look at how cries of terrorism have fueled and justified Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians this week, or to vilify anyone even calling for a cease fre. Look how Georgia calls the #StopCopCity movement terrorists, even though it's the cops who have killed. Or how the cries of terrorism after September 11th justified hundreds of times more deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan than the attack in the US.
The state knows how to wield the word better than we ever can. release it's hold over you so that we can actually discuss the nature of violence, who wields it, and why it's only justifiable by some.

Sometimes I think about how the Champions were created because they grew disillusioned with the Avengers for being careless and inconsiderate to the people they’re supposed to be saving and how in the Ultimate universe it would’ve translated to disillusionment by the Ultimates working explicitly in interest of the government rather than the people
