With the end of TOH not only capping off Disney's "loose Trilogy" with Gravity Falls, & Amphibia, it pretty much marks the end of this Golden Age of Original Children's Cartoons with Heavy syndicated storylines that started back with Adventure Time. While I don't discredit show that aren't syndicated stories or even the "brand cartoons" Like Star Wars, Transformers, or TMNT there was something magical about seeing people come up with original tales from stuff they were big fans & grew up on to create a whole era that made it cool for adults to have these theories, Excellent fanart, & to be something more then what we were used to in our youths.

I can only hope I'm wrong & one day we'll see another TOH or Steven Universe or Kipo, or Centaurworld, or Adventure Time, or Regular Show, or etc. But with recent events it leaves me less enthused. But I'll still cherish that the 2010's to the early 2020's was this marvelous & revolutionary age for TV animation.

Hi fellow Epithet erased fans! To celebrate Prison of Plastic’s one year anniversary I’ve decided to bless you with a nightmare I had about Epithet erased that will forever haunt me as a person.

The dream started off really normal, not that off putting until I opened youtube and saw that there was a flood of a shit ton of Epithet erased related content. Like. DIGITAL CIRCUS LEVELS OF VIRAL. It got so bad to the point people started making content farms and dumb thumbnails. (Artistic rendition by me below)

So yeah, that was insane right? But it gets worse. I go look up Epithet erased merchandise right? Instead of plushies as i expected there were actually plastic bootleg figurines that looked like the stuff of nightmares. It reminded me of those dumb looking redbubble tshirts and shirts. [Shown below + artistic rendition of terrible made figures, i promise my art is better than this…]

Fortunately before it escalated even more I woke up from that hellish nightmare and am now thankful we dont have to deal with LORELAI VS MOLLY SLIME CHALLENGE!

The way she just wants people to use her name and treat her like an actual human being rather than an object to sit and look pretty next to Dutch. To look at her and see her and listen to her.

No hate to Steven or anything and a lot of the flack he's gotten in the yt comments is unwarranted, but one thing I think is interesting is how on Watcher he was painted as a business-guru type and yet he was like... a chemical engineering major. Like so was I for most of college and you know what we never learned? How to run a business

#I say 'most' bc I switched out of chemical engineering in my fourth year (switched to biochem)#but still #I think maybe a lot of non-STEM people hear engineering and think engineering = smart #and therefore qualified to run a business #when being a successful STEM major or engineer specifically has nothing to do with intelligence #I've encountered many STEM majors at 'good' schools who are dumb as bricks #a girl I roomed with got flying colors in organic chemistry and yet thought she could get high off of molly through the walls #tracking tag #rambling #watcher

Percy headcanon time! by Pooks!

everyone be like "post-second war, Percy moves back to the burrow"

but CONSIDER

he doesn't do that. he doesn't wanna go back, but he wants a good, healthy and stable relationship with his family. he even connects the old fireplace in his flat to the floo network, so they can travel with ease.

now you wonder, why doesn't he come back? for the better part, they assumed that Percy thought it was too cramped at the Burrow or that he wanted some adult independance, learning to grow into his adult role.

trust me, it's none of those reasons. his reason is something entirely different.

Percy got a TV.

no, he doesn't want to share it. no, he isn't giving up his TV with good reception and dozens of channels (headcanon; he's a sucker for tv dramas).

the most hilarious thing is when he and Molly argues about why that TV is so much better than her radio ("You can't see the visuals, Mother! And if I have to listen to Celestina Warbeck 24/7 again, I might throw myself into the Thames!") and when Arthur is so interested in the TV ("No, Dad. You can't experiment on my TV! It costed me so much Muggle money, please don't do that!")

and just as he expected and lowkey feared, his siblings starts to mooch on the TV. the younger ones, at least. Bill's busy being husband and father and Charlie hightailed back to Romania cause he misses his baby dragons.

and since this is end of 1990s and early 2000s, there is a slight civil war between his siblings about which channel is the best and yes, they're all cartoon-related.

Ron and Ginny likes Nickelodeon while Fred and George favors Cartoon Network.

Percy likes Disney Channel (and he's a big sucker for spanish telenovelas), tho, and successfully ropes in the others cause there's some good content.

of course, he comes home from work and always finds one or more of his siblings watching TV and he's annoyed at this point because damn it, he can't have ANYTHING for himself (true sibling energy, right there).

I wanted to talk about this scene in the latest episode. I think the adult rvts were putting on a brave face for Liko, Roy and Dot here, to comfort them in a difficult situation. Their home has been heavily damaged, and they're not going to be able to run their business (the rvts) for a while, which is a huge change. It's no wonder that Liko and Roy feel down. However, Friede's speech reminds them of how far they have come as trainers, which was really touching. In addition, Orla, Murdock and Mollie reassuring them that the ship will be repaired was nice to see. In Murdock's case, this proves how much he cares for and wants to support his niece, Dot.

The way that the older rvts reassure the kids shows that they are prepared to go beyond their duties as bodyguards to look out for Liko, Roy and Dot's feelings. From a child's perspective, it conveys the illusion that adults are not afraid of anything and will always be able to protect you. However, we know as an audience that the mature characters have worries and doubts of their own. Due to this, it is arguably likely that they are also feeling deflated after the battle with Rayquaza. I don't think that Liko Roy and Dot are oblivious to the other rvts emotions, but the concept of adults looking out for the youth has been a pattern throughout Horizons so far. We have seen this through instances such as Friede risking his life to save the kids, Ludlow giving words of wisdom and Mollie being the referee during Liko and Roy's first battle.

Knowing all of this, it makes sense that Friede's next suggestion is for Liko, Roy and Dot to train at the Naranja Academy. Not only will this help them learn about terrastralisation, but it will also give them a sense of purpose while the Brave Asagi is being fixed. The adult rvts will always act in the kid's best interests. In other words, I don't think they were as cheerful as they were letting on in this scene.

Aside from the obvious, something I find so frustrating about how many people ignore the clear fact that Molly did not rat on the bank robbery is that it ignores the very interesting question as to why. Molly was sweated by the Pinkerton multiple times, she went through some very intense things at their hands and yet, she did not say anything. She withheld information from Milton about her abuser and the people who surrounded him, people who are indifferent to her at best and hostile at worst, and who she is convinced are all laughing at her behind her back, but why? What was going through her head then? Was it out of love for Dutch, or had all of that faded by now? Did part of her recognise that, even through the immense paranoia, it was unfair to put the others in danger for the sake of getting Dutch killed? Was it something else entirely? What was it that made her keep her mouth shut even despite the circumstances? We don’t know and it’s such an interesting part of Molly to consider, that she didn’t say a word to Milton when interrogated however many times she was despite having plenty of reasons in her current situation and mental state to want Dutch in jail or behind bars and for not caring what happened to the rest of the gang. It’s far more interesting than trying to act like she really did rat on the gang at least, because she didn’t do that

I have a theory on how Molly will appear in Hazbin Hotel!

So as we know Molly also known as Angel's sister is well in heaven but I have an idea.

So during the extermination Angel gets cornered by an exterminator and his gun is jammed or he's out of bullets.

Then as the angel or exterminator is about to kill him... She stops? And looks at him as if she recognizes him in some way?

She then takes of her mask to reveal Molly with tears coming out of her eyes as she has just reunited with her brother and also from the fact she nearly killed him a few minutes ago.

And they hug. After so many years of being in two different realms they have finally reunited....

Also before you guys say anything Exterminators I believe are only woman from what I've heard.
