Modern Fantasy Monsters: Family Matters

A family line full of great magic users who's family tree is a literal family tree that grows old photos and letters from their branches. When a new family member is born a new sprot blossoms from said tree next to their parent and when an elder passes away their branch weakens falling off but, regrowing stronger than before so their memory can live on.

Halflings who's family gatherings are so large that it's always a large scale event that makes even rivals werewolf gatherings. They really know how to party and they are super close with each other.

Speaking of werewolf gathering, imagine a human who never had a close relationship with their own family marring into a werewolf family where they're all really close with each other. The human is an honorary pack member and they are overjoyed being apart of a loving family even if its not their own.

Alternatively a monster who never had a chance to understand the concept of a family being accepted into a human family with open arms being surprised yet super happy that they have people that they can trust other than their partner

Vampires who have family photos from every decade that they've lived through. Imagine seeing this proud ancient hand painted portrait of the family in decade old clothes next to the family portrait of said vampire family dressed in matching clothes doing on of those JCpenny's awkward family photos from the 80's.

A human with a child marring a magic user who also has a child creating a blended family of magic and non-magical customs. Sure the witch child will use their magic sometimes prank and tease their non-magical sibling but that doesn't mean they won't defend them when push comes to shove.

A giant couple adopting an abandoned human child along with their own child having those two grow up to be best of friends with the human sibling being the one to defend their MUCH larger sibling from bullies rather the other way around.

A young witch eagerly waiting for the day to get her powers so that she can be just like her parents when she's older. She counts the days until her birthday and her parents are happy that she's excited that they secretly got her a pet familiar for her birthday too to add to the surprise.

Hey beloveds!

I’m searching for all those fantasy loving people out there. At the moment, I’ve barely gotten past the plotting stage and I’m far too enthused to start some fantasy threads, specifically medieval / historical fantasy threads. I’m overly keen on modern fantasy, I apologise if that is what you were looking for. Now, if that got your attention — a little about me.

My name is Jade, I’m a twenty one year older woman — pronouns are she / her. I’ve been writing for an exceptional ten years, thus leaving me quite experienced. My writing style varies between advantaged literate and novella. I ask my writing partners to be the same, considering I live longer replies. I typically send at least two full discord messages, so I’m on the hunt for somebody who can keep up with that. The more the better, honestly. I’m big on things like Pinterest boards, playlists, art, out of character communication, world building, plotting together, matching energy / being enthusiastic. That is to name just a few. I’m hoping to find a writing partner who’s the same about those things because I truly need it to keep the inspiration flowing. If I don’t have the same energy returned to me, I unfortunately lose muse because I hate one sided enthusiasm. I only write with those eighteen and above. Not under, even if we choose not to include smut. I love smut, but it isn’t required. I’m willing to fade to black too. As for pairings, I am mostly looking for mxf at the moment. I can play both female or male muses, I ask though, please don’t use me for my male muses. As much as I love playing them, it’s gone to a point where it’s just purely expected. I currently have no female muses at this time. I’m happy to play either gender, just don’t be specifically using me for them. Speaking of muses, I use realistic face claims or AI art. I don’t use anime or drawn, they make me uncomfortable for some reason. I require the same for my writing partners. Overall, I’m looking for a friend as well as a writing partner. There are so many more but I feel like I’ll be listing forever, please note I’m completely okay with darker themes too!! Onto fantasy creatures I enjoy but not limited too •. — Elves, Fae, Dragons, Vampires, Gods, Deities, Witches, Demons. Those are the only ones I can think of, my brain is going blank. Honestly, I like them all. Except, I don’t enjoy playing werewolf muses myself but that isn’t to say you can’t!!

We can double up or leave it as a 1x1 and I’ll be happy either way! I enjoy creating rich lore for our world and I love kingdoms and courts and realms and all those good things. Modern Fantasy Monsters: Halloween

🎃Witches making "witches brew" (just a bunch of alcohols mixed with each other) for their friends at a Halloween party. 🎃 Werewolf parents being careful that their little cubs don't eat chocolate candies that people hand out. It won't kill them, it'll just make them really sick. 🎃Vampires hosting the best Halloween parties! They go all out with the themes from a fancy masquerade ball to a murder mystery party. 🎃Ghost who open up their homes to create an "authentic" haunted house. While they usually don't like it when people invade their home they make an exception for Halloween. They are nicer to little kids though since they really don't mean to be scary. 🎃Monsters going as regular ass humans just like Human: "Uhhh...Dude? What are you dressed as?" Elf: "Ah, I am Dave from Accounting." Human: "...Who?" Elf: "Dave from Accounting! I have to write my taxes and go on the annual company fishing trip!" Human: "Right, Dude.." 🎃Demons pulling hilariously tricks on Halloween scaring the absolute shit out of people. Maybe steal a little bit of candy as well while they're at it 🎃Werewolves trick-or-treating as a pack! Imagine you have something bonk on your doorstep and you just see a bunch of wolves wagging their tails in Halloweens costumes meant for dogs wagging their tails with buckets in there mouth! 🎃Demons aren't the only species that pulls pranks on Halloween. The fae also sometimes play pranks on passers by especially on the haunted trail rides or haunted forest walks where they use their magic to make flora ad fauna grab at people's legs. 🎃Candies that have different magic effects when consumed. Crystal rock candy that gives you the energy of said crystal effecting your mood, Popping candy that makes you literally feel like your mouth is popping fireworks, Red hot candy that makes you breath fire for a short period of time.

🎃 Sirens that work at haunted houses sing haunting tunes of drowning men in the sea and luring weary passerby's into the depths of the haunted house. 🎃Witches and Wizards that race with their broom sticks late at night for a fun yet completive activity.
