There is a dirt path somewhere deep within the forests of Norway, with various branching dead ends, but taking the correct turns at each fork would lead one to a clearing.

From just outside, the bright greens and deep browns of the trees, along with the tall grass and wildflowers of all colours are pretty much the only thing you can see, as they surround the area. It doesn't look like there's anything here, just more trees. The path almost appears to be a trick at first, but just past the two trees by each edge of the path is a large concrete structure, home to a budding army that's slowly beginning to take control of the neighbouring countries - now known as the Nordic Federation of Nations (NFN), though the officials would insist that, regardless of language, you call it "De Nordisk Forbun av Nasjoner". You'd risk pissing off the leader otherwise.

Inside the building is more of the same. The same concrete walls, the same concrete floors, and various rooms used for various purposes.

One of these rooms is the office of De Rød Leder... yes, labelled like that, even though every other room was labelled in English, but you had to give him one thing - he had commitment to the bit.

And currently, in that office, a man is frantically apologising.

"I'm sorry sir, I wasn't even aware that they survived, I swear, please don't hur-" the man is interrupted by the voice of another.

"That does not matter, Pau - you still let one get away." the voice states, a disappointed yet dangerous tone.

This voice belongs to someone who wished for his name and face to be known worldwide.

A man whose body was half-burnt and scarred forever, with his hair stuck in the shape of two horns - his trademark style, and the inspiration for the army's logo.

A man known as Red Leader.

Pau flinches in response, the man's words were not exactly comforting. Particularly as he could see his scowl deepen, if that was even possible.

"I'll do better next time, I promise! Just... please, don't do anything to me! You-you know how Patry-"

"-Yes, I am aware of how he would react if any harm is to come to you. But for his sake as much as your own, you will keep that promise next time." Red Leader interrupts again, adding emphasis on the 'will', "Because of course there's going to be a next time, one lived, and they're going to recruit more of their little buddies, and if they're successful we may have another all-out war with Sweden on our hands."

"For fuck's sake, I have no goddamn clue how you could even miss so bad - you're extremely good with your gun any other time, why did you have to fuck me on this now, when it counts?"

There is silence.

"Do not lie to me. You know what I do to liars." he warns.

Pauu swallows, suddenly aware of just how small he felt, between the size of the room itself and the size of the man in front of him.

It's enough to make him spill the truth.

"Because I could see the fear in his eyes."

"I heard him beg, he swore that just wanted to make it home safe, sir."

"And you believed any of it? You believed that he was afraid?" Red Leader scoffs.

"In fairness, anyone would be if their hideout were suddenly stormed by your two best soldiers, sir." chimes another man, one who's just entered the room, "And by the way, I have some financial requests from the Danish branch, be sure you get to those." he halfheartedly states as he drops a small stack of papers on the desk.

"Patryck, do not defend him. I understand he is your husband, but he's fucked up again."

"Oh, come on, don't play that game with me, sir - you and I both know he gets out of trouble every time - and that it's because of me."

"Not this time, Pat-"

"You also know what I am capable of if you hurt him." Patryck glares at Red, reaching for a pistol.

Once he's readied it, he fires a shot into the air as a warning.

There's a silence in the air, before Red reaches for his own gun... only to find it's not there.

"Goddamn it Patryck, why do you have to be so stealthy?" he murmurs, before sighing.

"Fine." he relents, "just don't let this happen again, Pau. The two of you are dismissed."

"That's what I thought, sir." Patryck smirks, tossing the gun onto Red's desk, before taking Pau's hand and walking away with him.

"It's such a goddamned shame that those two are the best I've got." Red mumbles, before grabbing the first paper of the stack, glancing over it and ticking the 'approved' box. He hated paperwork.

A little update

Hello simblr! I’m really really sorry for disappearing for so long! Unfortunately I’m still struggling a lot with mental health and fatigue and I just haven’t had the energy or motivation to even think about this tumblr or the ND mod. I also lost interest for the sims for awhile and have been focusing on other games and things.

I did recently try to pick up the ND mod again after taking a long paus from it. I’ve ended up remaking the mod from scratch, because the existing mod wip had simply gotten too messy and there was a lot of things I wasn’t satisfied with. It’s allowed me to upgrade fully to using the newest mod constructor as well as restructure the mod in a better way.

It’s also allowed me to reel in the scope and ambition of the mod a bit, at least for a first version. My energy etc is still limited and right now I’ve only been working on the mod a few minutes or an hour or so every now and then, and to make the mod managable (and to make finishing it more attainable) I’m only focusing right now on getting the basic functionality of each feature and trait in place, and not spending so much time on the extra details and flavor (like moodlets and special socials).

One thing I have been considering is releasing alpha test versions of the mod once the mod is a little further along, if anyone would be interested in that ^n^

Eu vim aqui porque eu preciso esclarecer algumas coisas com a tag e pelo alcance do talker, usarei como palanque. É mais efetivo do que eu postar desabafo na tag...

Acho que primeiramente, preciso me apresentar. Sou a Moni, player do Matthew Do, presidente da atlética da falecida Taebaek.

Eu, player, sozinha tive a ideia de criar a atlética na comunidade e fui ajudada por vários players que faziam parte da nossa anarquia acadêmica dentro da TBK (beijos a todes que contribuíram com o cavalão, vocês tem um lugar no céu dos equinos, satisfação). Quero deixar aqui meu agradecimento à player do vice-presidente da Atlética que infelizmente perdi o contato, mas ela foi a pessoa que concebeu tudo comigo e comprou essa ideia de doida minha.

Eu saí definitivamente da tag em novembro de 2021, depois de alguns afastamentos. Não pretendo voltar a jogar RPG tão cedo.

Hoje, fui recebida com algumas asks em um tumblr antigo (que poucas pessoas tem acesso) dizendo que eu moderava a Daechawl (acho que é assim que escreve, se errei, me perdoem), que é uma cmm de uni que tem uma atlética.

Tive novamente de parar tudo que eu estava fazendo para vir aqui (Olympus que se foda, de verdade não vou gastar um segundo do meu tempo indo lá porque eu sei que os três patetas vão inverter tudo que eu falar) e declarar que: não, não modero nenhuma comunidade no momento e eu teria de ser muito burra para criar uma universidade com uma fucking atlética e ainda esperar que não conectassem meu nome à central.

Agora deixa-me gastar umas coisas que estão engasgadas faz um ano. Eu criei a atlética para ajudar a coitada da Nath, a mod, que não estava dando conta de cuidar da Taebaek com a outra mod. Para aliviar, falei com elas e tomei iniciativa de fazer alguns eventos mensais e narração de jogos. Fiz várias festas com a ajuda dos membros da Atlética e sinceramente, se teve festa pra personagem e player quebrar o pau antes da comunidade fechar, é porque essa trouxa aqui perdeu horas do sábado dela fazendo coisas enquanto o resto da comunidade só sabia reclamar e não fazer nada. Reclamavam de estrelismo e o cacete, mas na hora de alguém se mexer para movimentar coisa, ninguém fazia nada. Eu, Moni, nunca fiz nada esperando um outdoor, um agradecimento ou elogio, eu fiz por mim. Matar as saudades dos furduncinhos de antes da pandemia.

Sempre fui player participativa onde entrei, só que quando a TBK fechou fui descobrindo várias pessoas que eram minhas amigas e saíram me chamando de problemática em ooc. Se me virar em 10 para tentar ajudar a moderação a criar um ambiente legal sem esperar nada em troca é ser problemática, eu realmente adoraria que a tag inteira fosse problemática assim.

RPG não soma em nada na vida de ninguém, aprendam. É um hobby, caralho, não é a vida de vocês, não é o lugar de vocês descontarem as frustrações por não ter nascido na vida ou no corpo que queriam.

Desejo sorte à moderação da Daechawl, com as bençãos de Matthew Seokjae Do, presidente da Atlética, pai, inventor dos caralhos invernais e velocista de pista nevada desnudo. Já diria Ele em suas belas palavras: Os de Verdade a gente sabe quem são. Satisfação.

Eu bem me lembro que a tal Atlética deu o que falar na época, mas em vista da sua intenção e participação, ainda mais contando com o aval da moderação e outros players participando, eu realmente não entendo qual o shade por trás disso, ainda mais se movia evento na comunidade.

Estava demorando para que viessem especular novas moderações aqui. O que eu acho engraçado é as najas em potencial indo em anônimo no seu tumblr pessoal reviver treta de anos. Querides, a Taebaek fechou tem um ano, não? Aquietem esse c*.

E o fato ainda mais intrigante é que, se as pessoas tem acesso ao seu tumblr, elas sabem onde te encontrar, mas ao invés de resolver as coisas como adulto, prefere mandar shade e lançar fanfic. Isso é, se tem algo a resolver. Pois sei bem que existe muito player fantasma que pega player protagonista pra Cristo com o tal "estrelismo". Que eu saiba a Taebaek de uni quase virou uma metrópole de tanto plot sendo desenvolvido e até umas contas de players que moviam plots. O que por um lado eu achava legal, mas também tenho meus contras sobre. Assim como quase tudo na vida tem seus prós e contras.

Sinto muito que você novamente tenha sido alvo dessas picuinhas. Puta que pariu, juvenis da tag. Vocês não sabem deixar coisa de um ano e lá vai Cacildes pra lá, tomem vergonha nessa cara. Parece que tá faltando o que fazer, vão varrer a calçada, fazer trabalho voluntário em orfanato ou lar de idosos para ver se vocês tomam tento.

Deixamos aqui seus agradecimentos e também o seu desabafo. Espero que fique bem e que as coisas sejam esclarecidas a quem está acreditando em quem fez fofoca errada. Sempre digo que pouco importa quem é mod ou não, espalhar algo sem provas é desonesto pra cacete. Mas nada novo, não?

"Pat, are you sure this is the place?" Pau asks, looking rather uncertain as the plane lands and the area outside comes into view of the windshield.

"Absolutely, this is where we were directed to fly." Pat confirms, glancing up at his husband. He could be such a pain sometimes.

"It doesn't look like the kind of place we'd go to pick up supplies, unlike what he said..." he whimpers, beginning to tremble a little. He didn't care much for the 'scary' missions, and on some level, Red Leader knew this - but he also knew that Pau and Pat were the most trustworthy, and thus, the go-to for specific missions.

"Ah, he just wanted you to come with on the mission."

"Now come on, quit whining, and ready your gun - we've got a rebellion to crush here in Sweden."

"Why can't I ever just be assigned the normal tasks...?" Pau murmurs to himself, sighing.

He really didn't want to be here - but he couldn't just refuse an assignment.

After all, "the only ones who would refuse are traitors to our cause", right?
