Crown Prince Wilhelm’s facts sheet
Based on this post, as promised to @myyoungroyalsblog
“Baby?”
“Mh?” Wille turned around on the bed, slowly blinking his eyes open.
“What’s this?” Simon said, turning around towards him. He was barely dressed, only his boxers covering his body —as well as the marks Wille had left on his throat mere hours ago.
“What’s what?” Wille said distractedly, eyes still taking Simon in.
Simon walked back towards the bed, laying down besides Wille, who instantly wrapped himself back around his boyfriend, throwing a leg over Simon’s, his head in the crook of Simon’s neck. He was all warm and comfortable. Wille would never get enough of him, he was sure of it.
“Crown Prince Wilhelm’s facts sheet,” Simon read, a stack of paper in his hands.
“Oh, it’s just the list of facts about me. I need to learn it by heart before the next set of interviews.”
“You need to learn facts about yourself?” Simon asked confusedly.
Wille pushed his head up, looking at Simon. He was scrunching his nose in that way he did when he didn’t understand —or judge— something about Wille’s position as Crown Prince. Wille smiled and leaned down to kiss Simon’s nose, pulling a giggle out of his boyfriend.
“Well, they’re not facts about Wille, they’re facts about Crown Prince Wilhelm,” he said quietly, knowing how it sounded. “So yeah, I need to learn what I’m supposed to be like and all that stuff.”
Simon’s eyes widened as he looked between Wille’s face and the sheets. “It’s all wrong!”
“It’s about the Prince!” Wille said, dropping his head down against Simon’s shoulder.
“They shouldn’t change you so much, they make you sound much more boring than you are.”
“Oh, so I’m boring, now?” Wille said, pinching Simon’s stomach.
“That’s not what I said!” Simon said with a yielp, taking Wille’s hand in his to keep it away from his stomach, interlacing their fingers.
“It is! You said it ‘makes me sound more boring than I am’ . ”
“You’re not boring,” Simon said, kissing his forehead. Wille hummed, feeling a smile stretch across his face. “You know I find everything about you interesting. I could never get bored of you.”
Wille felt his face flush, as it always did when Simon complimented him like that. “Sap.”
“You love it,” Simon teased.
“Mm. Love you.”
“Te amo,” Simon said quietly.
It sent shivers down Wille’s spine to hear those two words. He could remember vividly the first time Simon had said them back. It had taken a while —Wille had needed to gain Simon’s trust back— but he wouldn’t change anything about it. Simon had said them when he had been ready and to know that it was real and that Simon finally felt comfortable with him again had been the best feeling Wille had ever known.
He loved Simon and Simon loved him back.
“When we were young, Erik and I would play a game when we needed to learn our new facts. I would ask him a question and he would answer with the Prince fact and then if he was right, I would tell him the Erik fact. And we would do the same for me. It was our way to remember that we were our own people, not only princes.”
Simon stroked Wille’s hair out of his face, massaging his scalp as Wille liked. Wille let out a sigh, feeling content. He was getting better at talking about Erik, about feeling happy when he did so. He was still missing him so much but talking about him helped. Telling Simon everything about his other favourite person in the world felt good.
“Do you want to play it?” Simon asked quietly. “The game?”
Wille looked up at Simon, eyes trailing over his face. Simon had a small smile on his face, looking calmly at Wille, as he always did when they were talking about Erik. Simon was giving him the choice to continue down that path or to stop now, whatever felt more comfortable for Wille. Wille felt a surge of affection for his boyfriend, always so considerate of his feelings.
“I’d like to,” Wille breathed out, reciprocating Simon’s smile. Wille laid back down on Simon, waiting for him to ask questions.
“Okay, what is Crown Prince Wilhelm’s favourite book?”
“Moby Dick,” Wille groaned. He had barely been able to finish it when they had to read it in English class last year. He had taken great offense when he had seen the answer on the facts sheet. It was supposed to make him look good but Wille thought it only made him look like a dick. Pun intended.
Simon giggled underneath him, knowing damn well how much Wille actually disliked it. “Correct. Wille’s favourite book is the Princess Diaries Series.”
Wille looked at Simon in disbelief. “How do you know that?”
“You hid them underneath your bed.”
“I–” Wille said, feeling his cheeks grow hot. Nobody was supposed to see them, which is why he had hid them there. “It makes the monarchy seem fun.”
“I really liked them too, growing up.”
“You did?” Wille asked, his shame replaced by amusement.
“Yeah. And then I started saying ‘fuck the monarchy’.”
Wille closed the gap between their lips, softly kissing Simon. He pulled back a little, breathe faning over Simon’s mouth, and whispered, “And then you started fucking the monarchy.”
“Shut up,” Simon said, pushing Wille’s face away with a laugh.
“Next question,” Wille said, pushing a curl out of Simon’s eyes.
“What’s the Crown Prince’s favourite meal?”
“Meatballs and mashed potatoes.”
“Mm, you do like that actually.”
“It’s not my favourite, though.”
Simon smiled at him slowly, a hand traveling up and down Wille’s back. “I’m your favourite meal.”
“Simon!” Wille said, swatting his chest as he felt yet again his cheeks grow hot.
“Kidding,” Simon said, giggling. “It’s mama’s arepas.”
Wille hummed. Linda had even taught him how to do them a while ago, and then she had started to teach him other dishes and basic cooking skills. They would cook together while Simon would play video games with Rosh and Ayub, before everyone would come and taste whatever they had managed to cook. It was a relaxing pastime and one he was glad he had picked up, although spending that time with Linda most definitely made it better.
“What’s the Crown Prince’s favourite city?”
“Paris.”
“And Wille’s favourite is Bjärstad.”
Wille shook his head. “No.”
“Really?” Simon asked, his nose scrunching up again. Wille dropped down to kiss the tip of it, as always.
“My favourite city is the one you’re in.”
“Oh, fuck off!” Simon said, covering his blushing face with his hand. “Now who’s the sap?”
Wille laughed, taking in the sight in front of him. The transition to Crown Prince had been hard —it was still hard— but it was becoming easier. He was learning to put his foot down more often and his relationship with his mama wasn’t the best, but it was better. But most importantly, he could have Simon by his side, sharing a small bed at Hillerska whenever they wanted too. He could have Simon underneath him without the fear of losing him, he could talk about Erik and feel good about it, and he could have fun within his duties.
How Wille had managed to have it all, he didn’t know. But he didn’t really care to know when this was the result.

I love that Ishmael is having his romantic sea side fling. Who among us has not gotten into a Uhaul marriage with a hot stranger they met yesterday at the bed and breakfast? This empty headed twink of a man has had two full days of tender fucking, gay sucking, and clam chowder and now he’s in charge of booking the excursion, absolutely iconic.

The books I have read in 2022!
In the last couple years I've found a couple great new hobbies. First, gunpla, and second, actually reading books. That started with a random recommendation of The Book Of The New Sun from a friend of mine, he never even read it he just heard another friend recommend it, and that sent me on a path. 1. The Book Of The New Sun tetralogy + Urth Of The New Sun by Gene Wolfe My main obsession of last year. At this point, it might be my absolute favourite work of fantasy and sci-fi out there. Mystifying, complex, beautiful, and with one of the most captivating settings I've ever seen. A world I wish I could know everything about, but that antithetical to the entire thing. And characters that haven't left my mind in 12 months. 2. A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms by George R.R Martin ASOIAF means the world to me. It pretty much kept me going through a very rough year in my life back in high school but I never did read these until last year. It's such a nice read, following a lovable and good knight on his misadventures through Westeros, through tournaments and conspiracies and sword fights. An amazingly comfortable read. 3. Dune to God Emperor of Dune by Frank Herbert The definitive worm odyssey. Each book really brings something different, my favourite had to be Messiah. The whole story has this undercurrent of dread, that there is something on the horizon that is beyond terrifying, that the future is inescapable. Paul is such a husk of a man, blinded and guiding the events of the story on to a dread path he can not look away from no matter how hard he tries.
4. The Dying Earth by Jack Vance The definitive dying earth story (shocking!), and a real unique thing. Deep future sci-fi dressed up like fairy tale stories almost. Wizards using technologies so old, powerful, and esoteric that it is all magics and mysteries, warrior princesses and ghoulish critters in the woods that ask riddles. Really something special, and I plan on reading more of it. 5. Moby Dick by Herman Melville Yeah this shit is the great American novel. I think it'll be a long, long time until I read anything that so joyously and quickly flies back and forth between humor and the metaphysical, yet they're one in the same here. Every bit of humor and banter among the crew has something so interesting to express, every monologue about philosophy and being is exuberant and full of playfulness. A work of art that genuinely fills me with awe.
6. Neuromancer by William Gibson Mr. Gibson wrote the first page of this book and it created, and subsequently held the cyberpunk genre captive for 40 years. Sure, everything here you have seen already, but a good story doesn't care if you've seen things like it. One of the best page turners I've read, moving at the perfect pace to keep me satisfied but always wanting to unravel more of the conspiracy. Armitage is just like me. 7. Soldier of The Mist by Gene Wolfe The story of the nicest man in all of Greece. An amnesiac mercenary in the Greco Persian war goes place to place making friends. A very pleasant story, and a very positive one. Expressing a belief in the goodness in everyone at their core, even bad men. 8. The Darkness That Comes Before by R. Scott Bakker As I discussed in a previous post, a work that feels juvenile in it's misery, that thinks sad and shitty makes for a smart story. But to be more positive this time, it has an engrossing plot. Setting up mystery upon mystery, interwoven conspiracies and gaps in knowledge that leave you wanting more. Having started it's sequel, I can say this element gets even better, but the character writing. Well. Not so much. In conclusion, a good year! I hope to get in to even more genre fiction this year.

Just wondering how you think the Dilfs of one piece (Mihawk, Shanks, Buggy, Crocodile, etc) would react to thier s/o being extremely dense? Like in a "I love you but your an idiot" kinda way.
This was fun, so I really hope I did your ask justice! ❤️❤️
Pairings! Draculex reader Shanks x reader Buggy x reader Crocodile x reader Doflamingo x Reader Marco x reader and Smoker x reader
Tumblr media
MIHAWK is a little annoyed at first when he finds that you've completely reorganized his bookshelf by how much you like the covers. He sighs in exasperation, but you look so happy with how the bookshelf now looks that he can't find it in himself to be too upset.
“Oh, to understand the inner workings of your mind, my Darling.”
Tumblr media
SHANKS is always excited to wake up and see what you're going to surprise him with next. You enjoy the simple things in life, so it always overjoys him when you appear by his side with a megawatt smile and a pretty shell or sand dollar.
“Whatcha got there, baby? Gonna add it to the others you're got?”
Tumblr media
You're a clumsy fuck and BUGGY sometimes wonders why he puts up with you. Especially when you come stumbling into the tent on Big Top, trip over the only rope in the floor, catch yourself on his pants and then down you go. Buggy curses loudly when his crew catches sight of his heart print boxers.
“You better be glad that I fucking love you, little clown.”
Tumblr media
It's more than once that the devil fruit user has to pull you away from the banana gators in the feeding area under the casino. It pisses him off that you keep putting yourself in danger, but you always grin and hold tight to CROCODILE, telling him that you always know that he'll save you every time.
“I'm no hero, sweetheart. Quiet trying my patience.”
Tumblr media
DOFLAMINGO loves that you are ignorant of who he really is. He is your white knight. The prince comes to save the princess locked away in her lonely tower. You hold him close after a long day, his head pressed to your chest.
“Mhmm. Such a sweet doll. And all mine, too.”
Tumblr media
You sit in MARCO'S office, a cute frown on your face as you watch your lover unravel some gauze and then carefully wrap it around the cleaned cut on your leg. The wound is recent, from defending the Moby Dick from rival pirates, an unnecessary risk. He sighs once he is finished and kisses right above the wrap.
“I wish you'd be more careful, my love.”
Tumblr media
SMOKER definitely disagrees with your decision to become a pirate. He thought it a dumb ass decision, but he loved you and had vowed to support you in every way he could. However, he has to draw the line when you show up on his ship and demand that he make your bounty higher.
“What? No, I don't need someone I can't fight off coming for you!”

Has anyone done a mashup of Moby Dick and The Little Mermaid, combining the prince with Ahab and the mermaid with Moby Dick? Like, the mermaid is still in love with the prince and saved him, but is also the siren that crashed his ship on the rocks to begin with and he's devoted his life to finding and killing her. It seems so obvious it must have been done before at least once, surely...
