What’s so bad about Loki/Sylvie? Let’s be honest because we all know Loki will be down on fucking himself

Sure Loki/Sylvie as a crack ship why not? For the LOLs Selfcest shouldn’t be taken serious at all. Hell we stared with Loki/Mobius as a crack ship. You know what gives me the ICK when y’all do ship Loki and Sylvie though? Here’s a short list.

Look at this interesting piece I read.

You wouldn’t screw a twin…that’ll be considered incest (also something a lot of people are…unfortunately to my knowledge into). If twins are called “nature’s clones” despite the fact they still share different genetic makeup, why shouldn’t yourself not be disclosed as well?

You know what also makes Loki and Sylvie like twins/siblings? Sylvie obviously doesn’t consider themselves as a Loki anymore therefore making it a dead name. They also have different personalities despite being raised (and born) from the same parents. They, whether many people like it or not, are in many ways, like twins/siblings.

Which is why many people, especially those with siblings, find this ship weird and gross.

Yeah I know it’s fiction and people are still going to ship it no matter what others say. I’m still going to say the same thing if asked or whenever I get the opportunity to because fuck it I can.

Also I can’t help but call this so unoriginal. What a precious thing that people are shipping both Loki and Sylvie and people jumped on that opportunity to ship the “only” feminine character in the show opposite of Tom but I have yet seen the same energy for Hunter B15? Hell that one scene in the episode of Sylvie and C20 have more romantic vibes IMO than Loki and Sylvie. That is also kind of sus of the fandom 👀 if you know what I mean.

It also means (if it happens) that the show will be using Sylvie despite also being a Loki as a female romantic means “necessary” for the male protagonist-something that has been done a bazillion of times. Fans are holding out hope so because of Tom Hiddleston saying that Loki will learn to love himself to love others. Loki loving Sylvie, a version of himself, is not literally learning to love himself.

In conclusion, selfcest is a joke that has gotten too far and it’s making y’all be morally questionable.

Loki Episode 4 theory

I've been thinking a lot about what might've caused the nexus, cause obviously I'm not overly fond of the selfcest idea, and I realized something.

In the scene in which the TVA arrest Loki and decide to "torture" him to get information, isn't it weird that they chose that memory specifically? I mean, we know that when it comes to traumatic memories Loki gets the prize (even if this is his 2012 self. So I've been thinking, why would the TVA decide the priority is to ensure Loki remembers that he is supposed to be "alone forever"?

So what if what causes the nexus is that Loki and Sylvie are erasing a part of themselves that defines what makes a Loki a Loki?

Hear me out, in the time loop scene, Loki admits the reason he has fun at other people's expenses is that he's scare of being alone. So what I think they're telling us is that this fear of being alone, this neverending feeling of being an outsider (which we understand from the movies) is what makes Loki the God of Mischief, it's an essential part of who he is, and of what makes Loki a Loki.

And what happens in Lamentis? Both, Loki and Sylvie, realized they can be good, they can be loved, and they're not meant to be alone forever, because in that moment they have each other, they're, in fact, going to die together. So when they hold hands, preparing to die along with each other, the nexus happens.

Now, if we add that the Director said Sylvie and Loki don't have romantic feelings for each other and instead Sylvie is teaching Loki to love himself through her, then this makes even more sense.

In summary, my theory is that by starting to believe they were worthy of love and no longer destined to be alone forever, Loki and Sylvie broke the timeline because they erased a core component of what "a Loki" is.

My opinion on the loki series

First : it was shot for the big screen. Like why??! Why are scenes shot from so damn far? Didn't you get the memo that this was for a small screen? If you want me to understand something I need close ups.

The ragnarok /salad?? Make a close up of that fuckin mess of salt and pepper let me watch a completely ruined meal you cowards

Second: (and yall will hate me but) the romance was so forced

Third: me from 10 years ago would have loved the super angst sylvie went through and totally would have took her as the usual oc/self insert of every ff from 2012 on

Last thing : I'm glad they took 2012!loki because my last ff of him was from that year so my characterization still works.

can we PLEASE stop arguing about loki x mobious vs loki x sylvie. neither really happened. calm down.

i don’t care about the ships in this show. all i wanted this whole time was for loki to have a happy ending, no matter what that looked like. but once again marvel snatched that from us and him.

it hurt him so bad when sylvie betrayed him then he went to go find mobious and i’m gonna start crying again if i think about all that too hard.

how about instead of arguing about who loki should end up with we should bond over the fact that we’re all upset that loki didn’t get that happy ending a lot of us have been waiting for.
