MobiFone: Nhà mạng đầu tiên chính thức được chấp thuận triển khai thí điểm Mobile Money
Ngân hàng Nhà nước Việt Nam (NHNN) vừa ký quyết định số 1818/QĐ-NHNN ngày 18/11/2021 chấp thuận triển khai thí điểm dùng tài khoản viễn thông thanh toán cho các hàng hóa, dịch vụ có giá trị nhỏ (Mobile Money) cho Tổng công ty Viễn thông MobiFone.
Như vậy, MobiFone đã trở thành nhà mạng di động đầu tiên được phép triển khai thí điểm cung cấp dịch vụ Mobile Money trên phạm vi toàn quốc, thời gian thí điểm đến ngày 18/11/2023.
Dịch vụ Mobile Money cho phép khách hàng dùng tài khoản viễn thông để thực hiện nhiều giao dịch khác nhau như: thanh toán cho các hàng hóa, dịch vụ có giá trị nhỏ, chuyển tiền, nạp/rút tiền trực tiếp tại hệ thống cửa hàng, điểm giao dịch rộng khắp trên toàn quốc của MobiFone,… mà không yêu cầu phải có tài khoản ngân hàng, không yêu cầu phải sử dụng smartphone, không cần kết nối Internet.
