I know the popular headcanon these days is that Gabe and Emilie were in their early 20's when they created Adrien but I'm going to have to politely disagree. Let me explain:
I think they had a whirlwind romance and married extremely young (between the ages of 18 and 21, with Gabe being a little bit older, but not by much.)
And yes according to the Representation play, Emilie, after trying to conceive for a long time, DID go for fertility treatments in the UK, but for whatever reason they did not work because she's a sentimonster and cannot create life because of unknown reasons.
We only know snippets of Gabi Grassette's life before he erased his past and became Gabriel Agreste, but by the time Adrien was created, he had:
-Had been discovered by Audrey Bougeois
-Formed a fashion empire and became rich
-Built, or at least extensively renovated the giant Agreste mansion that Adrien still lives in (There's way too much customization for it to not be his designing)
These things take time. And presumably while all this was happening, he and Emilie were trying for a child. It takes a while to be deemed infertile, and then more time for fertility treatments to work (or not work in her case).
Then when that fails, he's traveling the world extensively to find the Peacock Miraculous with Emilie and Nathalie, which would also take time.
I'm allotting a very short time period of about 10 years for all of this to occur.
I know Emilie and Gabe look very young during the flashback in Evolution, but really, you don't start looking old and decrepit the second you turn 30. A quick glance at celebrities in their 30's and 40's, and even 50+ will clue into how humans actually look like when they have money to look young and beautiful. Also this is a cartoon. It doesn't need to be realistic.
I think Emilie was in her early 30's and Gabe in his mid 30's in the flashback we see in Evolution, and Gabe was about 45 when he died.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk

I just saw a reel on insta that was basically a crack theory saying that Lila is Manon from the future. It's so random (and totally insane) but I'm kinda into it.

I mean they do look kind of similar.

I can't be the only one who thinks there must be another group of beings that might rival the Kwamis in some way. I mean, even the Olympians had to compete with the Titans.
the titans could have ALSO been kwami.
Or sentimonsters

I guess now that the leaks are coming out about the specials I can tell you about the cool idea I wish they had gone with.
If the main characters are inverted, then it would mean Master Fu would have to be evil, as there would be no way he would allow Ladybug and Cat Noir to be villains otherwise.
Imagine if in the Shady-verse, Master Fu is an immortal (and very bad) vampire and he takes on two proteges by turning Marinette and Adrien into vampires separately. (In case you're wondering how Fu gets to Adrien, think how much like in the movie, AU Gabriel allows Adrien more freedom than our Gabriel does). Not only do Shadybug and Claw Noir not know about the wish, but even if they were able use it to cure themselves, then there would be two other people who would become vampires.
But you know what doesn't have an "equivalent exchange clause?" The Butterfly Miraculous.
In this idea, "Monster Fu" wants to recover the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses that have eluded him so long, so he manipulates two teenagers into doing that for them, even taking their humanity.
Meanwhile, between the vampire attacks and the appearance of two new "villains" then Gabriel is forced to use the Butterfly Miraculous to empower people to protect against the predation. Gabriel has been able to sort out that Shadybug is Marinette thanks to Alya (and both Gabriel and Alya know their Marinette is a victim as much as a villain), but is unaware that Claw Noir is his own son (Gabriel just thinks Adrien grew distant after the loss of his mother). As Hesperia, Gabriel would seek help from an uncorrupted Ladybug via Alya/Ubiquity, while Shadybug and Claw Noir would hijack the portal created by Ubiquity to try to take this world's Butterfly Miraculous.
Monarch would try to akumatize the villains, but would fail, and he'd actually be a non-threat for once. Instead, our Ladybug and Cat Noir would follow their villainous counterparts back to their dimension. The final battle wouldn't be against our Monarch, but against Monster Fu, who would be sealed away at the resolution to the climax. Shadybug and Claw Noir wouldn't be cured, though, but they'd learn to be heroes as vampires ("and when the sun goes down, that's when I become") and one of the closing scenes would be AU Gabriel coming to the Agreste table to wait for his son to eat with him (who never does) only for his son to make a sudden appearance and pull down his turtleneck, revealing the vampire bitemarks, leading to the two to hug.
But the special is clearly going in a different direction.

I’ve worked it out. The kwami’s choice episodes will show Adrien and Marinette what their lives would have been like if they’d never been given the miraculous. And even though they find love in that timeline, they will both choose duty first and opt to still get the miraculous.

Something Bad is going (or Has) happened to Luka Couffaine
 a theory!
Listen. Few love Luka Couffaine as much as I do. And there’s been a Good Deal of foreshadowing that something Bad is going to happen to him. Or, since we already have episodes 16 and 18, something already has. It begins in season four, and I think, most accurately, his downfall begins after Wishmaker.
My theory here is that something bad happens to him in season five, and I’m predicting it’s going down Episode 15, which is ‘Intuition’, named after Sass’s powers, iconically, the only miraculous he ever used (he should’ve gotten one in the kwami swap i will die on this hill, regardless of their reasoning). As of right now, all we have of this episode is the name and the rest is mere speculation. Could happen later, could happen not at all (doubtful), but this is what I’m predicting, and if I am wrong, well, I’ve been wrong before lol.
This ended up a Bit longer than I anticipated, with the pictures (there are pictures for evidence under the cut lol i’m not one to do a CHUNK of text) and ngl overwhelming number of ominous signs pointing towards him, so it’s under the cut. I do also acknowledge my biases- I think he’s a much more main character than the creators are allowing him to be. In my defense, I love him?
Now, when I say something bad, I’m preparing myself for them just killing him (they wouldn’t, right?) but it could be a vague injury or sending him away, just something that keeps him off my screen, which is, arguably as bad as death? The thing is, everything points to something ‘vague bad’, and from that I can’t predict more, so I’ll keep it vague.
Season 4, Episode 22- Ephemeral
Ephemeral is the First Time we get to see him after discovering their identities in Wishmaker (a moment I have written separate essays on before). As far as I interpret the episode, his initial plan is to tell Marinette he knows she’s Ladybug (eventually) and accepts he’s instead going to ‘know’ Chat Noir’s for everyone’s benefit.
I’ve written other posts on the Importance and Luka’s positioning in Ephemeral (and how the whole thing could’ve been solved with a simple conversation or. believe it or not. the Truth), so I’m not going to say much here, but the One point to be considered is:
It’s not safe for one person to know both Ladybug and Chat Noir’s identities.
Which is why she can’t know his, and he can’t know hers. And Luka finds himself knowing both. From this very moment I knew something bad was doomed to happen to my favorite blueberry. He got put in a bad situation after, honestly, a very bad season for him.
Season 5, Episode - Determination
This one is. A Reach but someone rb and tagged one of my posts so I cannot just move on from this. We know there’s a Viperion wax figure, we see it covered and also lined up to fight (BUT THEY DOn”T aCTUALLy FIGHT HIM), and he’s just straight up not included on the poster. Seeing the wax figure it’s clear that they Know of his existence, but he’s just...not there.
Tumblr media
Some attempt at foreshadowing? I personally, do not know, but have been, without my consent, told it might be. (don’t write bible spoilers in the tags of my posts i read them okay???????) I am simply acknowledging this.
Season 5, Episode 12- Perfection
Luka has been in two (2) episodes so far in season five (LESS THAN WAYHEM MAY I ADD), and Perfection he’s bARELY there. (in his defense if I was in his exact situation, I would Also keep my distance), but he Is playing when Adrien’s singing, and they focus on him....at an interesting point.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(first. funny bc he was silencer lol) First for real. Lukanette fans are always allowed to mourn the ridiculously short dating time on my posts- the emphasis on him and Adrien using the melody talk that’s taken verbatim from Wishmaker is also another essay for another time.
Second, he knows. Which, in general, makes most of his appearances in the show post Wishmaker (only twice in season five so far) hilarious, but in this situation, why they chose to emphasize him on the heart beating line. The silence one I get, but why would they linger so long on such a line? Foreshadowing. that’s my answer. They’re going to kill him. /j
I could also point out how far apart he stands from everyone but I’m also aware his animation budget is like $5 and half a pbj so I’m not looking too much into that, but here:
Tumblr media
Season 5, Episode 16- Protection
This episode is the first After when I think things are going to happen, immediately following Intuition, and Luka is...very oddly not there.
Tumblr media
It’s clear they had Every Intention of Luka being there when they planned this date, even including him in the comic, but he was replaced by Nino at last minute (Luka and Nino are the same person truthers really got a +1 on that line lol), which is...a choice but more on that never.
Luka was obviously abruptly replaced, which continues to lend to the idea that something in the immediate past (previous episode- oh! That’s Intuition!) and based on the leaked ideas I’ve stumbled across for episode 14, I really don’t think he’s in that one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What gets to me in this scene is that, yes, they’re uncomfortable (with every right to be), put on display by their friends, but they look at each other right when they say his name. Like they know something happened. This scene adds more fuel to my ‘vague bad’ idea than straight up killing him (they wouldn’t), where likely, Ladybug and Chat Noir know More as to what happened (as well as Juleka, but she has no reason nor desire to speak up regarding her brother).
The Tweets
I, cannot for the life of me find the tweet that this is originally mentioned in (in my defense i did screen shot it and i have over 1200 images in my miraculous folder, but it might be in my screencap folder? we’ll never know). But I do have the Gloob post regarding it:
Tumblr media
[translation: who was that phrase for? ‘Your heart has been broken, you will never use the power of second chance again’]
Oh, he’s never gonna use the power of second chance again, that’s for certain, but I do have reason to believe it’s not because they don’t get the miraculouses back (haven’t read the bible spoilers on that I’m just assuming that’s how it all ends), it’s rather that he doesn’t get to use them.
Luka has a lot of potential built up as being so important to the plot, with the ideas of the four being foils to each other (Kagami is getting plenty of screentime for this (in a good way)), but because he knows. I can’t fathom when this is going to play out, or why they would make him know unless something important comes from it. Then again, between seasons they could’ve just changed their mind about his role in the show (*cough* the Couffaine’s always *cough*).
Then again, they also could have them find out each others identities before Luka gets/wants to tell them and then it’s just a waste but. I’ll write another essay on that if it happens.
I keep saying ‘I can’t believe they’re going to kill Luka Couffaine’ to prepare myself that something Very Terrible is going/has happened to him, but I honestly don’t believe that Fully. The people I have discussed this with have all, for the most part, agreed they’re likely going to send him away at least until the end of the season, and with this idea there’s so many different reasons they could use. Go on tour with Jagged? Sure. Let him learn more about being a luthier? I could see that. Study abroad? I’m still confused as to what type of school he actually goes to but why not. Something involving Monarch based on that last idea? God I hope not, but it’s a reason.
also, since I began working on this, this was revealed:
Tumblr media
Which is something I personally have been saying this whole time, but also Big Yikes, I’m just worried for my favorite blueberry. I hope he’s okay.

so what if we go FULL daytime soap opera with Miraculous senti-theories? Let’s just say Gabriel thinks Adrien and Felix are both sentibeings, but it’s actually just Felix who is magical. What if Amilie had a naturally conceived son and Emilie and Gabriel used a miraculous. But then Emilie was jealous of Amilie and switched them at birth, so Emilie is actually Adrien’s AUNT. And now everytime Gabriel thinks he is literally using magic to control “his son”, he was actually just controlling him through regular old abusive tactics like intimidation and emotional manipulation?

Thanks to the images taken from the TFOU press conference, I noticed something regarding the new miraculous rings
It has been recently theorized that the Alias/Alliance rings created by Tsurugi-san together with Gabriel will help Monarch in using the power of the miraculous without needing to lend them to whoever is akumatized, and because of this I thought that Gabriel would use these rings as well to do said connection with the miraculous, but something didn't add up with what I remembered from the promos
So I went back to watch "Multiplication" and looked for the promotional poster for Monarch to compare them and…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Clearly the rings Monarch wears aren't the same as the Alias/Alliance rings since the ones on the poster are squarer on top while the others remain simple in shape (this seems obvious, but I thought that if Gabriel used Tsurugi-san's rings together with the miraculous, the symbols would appear on them but instead it seems that they're part of the design)
So we have 2 different sets of rings: the Alias/Alliance ones that will be sold to Parisians and the ones that resemble the miraculous that Monarch will wear exclusively
Bearing this in mind, I can assume that Monarch's rings will serve as a bridge between the Miraculous and the Alias/Alliance rings to transmit the power that he wants the akumatized-villain-of-the-day to use, as it can be implied is happening in the following image that TFOU released
Tumblr media
Now we can only wait and see how this miraculous rings will be introduced in the following episodes of season 5

So I think I've figured it out.
Gabriel's cult is actually a support group for adults who are so inebt in the bedroom that they can't have kids.
So, expect Chloe and Zoe to be confirmed as sentis next. Audrey complains so much no man has ever gotten started.
That also means our incorrect quotes are wrong cuz Félix's father might've been so bad in bed that Amelie asked her sister to give her a senti child cuz she couldn't get pregnant by her husband 😭😭😭😭

Felix has a widow's peak.
Tumblr media
This implies that Adrien also has a widow's peak.
Emilie doesn't have a widow's peak which means that Amelie doesn't have one either since they are identical twins.
Tumblr media
However Gabriel does have a widow's peak.
Tumblr media
I have no idea if this is significant (probably not), I just wanted to point this out.

Gabriel didn’t just threaten to kill Felix, he actually attempted it.
Tumblr media
With what we know now, putting the akuma in his ring was a death sentence.
Tumblr media
If Felix hadn’t rejected the akuma then not only would Ladybug and Chat Noir have to break the ring but when they did they would have found both a feather and the akuma and WHO WANTS TO BET THEY WOULD HAVE HAD THE KNOWLEDGE TO NOT PURIFY BOTH.
Tumblr media
Poor kid had to fight for his life, literally. We know how hard it is to reject the akumas but he didn’t have a choice, did he?
Also, consider this both proof that Gabriel was aware of this fact AND proof that Gabriel is just so so stupid..so stupid.
