ok so first i’m gonna plug my tolkien sideblogs: @nblegolas for legolas content, @surpassingvalour for maedhros content, my art blog @annataryx where i draw mostly tolkien, @fuckyeah-kiliel and @fyeah-tauriel for kiliel/tauriel content, and @finweanladiesweek for content about the ladies of the house of finwe (all year round baby!!) in the past i’ve also run @kilielweek and @tolkiengenweek, maybe i’ll do one of those again someday…

1. Take My Head - Turnover. A dark bop. Started listening to this when a friend posted it on Twitter and I've just been vibing with it...

2. Into the Storm - Blind Guardian. If you are in Silm!tumblr you know why. If you aren't...

3. Can't You See - Matthew and the Atlas. Uplifting but down tempo indie song that's really sweet.

4. Bible Belt - Dry the River. I'm only gonna put one Dry the River song on here because otherwise they would take up the whole list. This song is amazing and sad and has some really beautiful lyrics. Ok I lied, listen to 'Husk' or 'Vessel' too.

5. Soothing - Laura Marling. I liked her already for Rambling Man which is another great song, but this one has a really weird kinda murdery vibe to it.

6. Alfadhirhaiti - Heilung. I got into this band like a wildfire since the Senua 2 trailer dropped. Was lucky enough to attend their first USA performance. This song is super primal and just makes me stomp around every time I listen to it. Also, listen to In Maidjan.

7. Herr Mannelig - Ofdrykkja. This is a really old folk song about a mountain troll that falls in love with a handsome young man. Story of my life.

8. The Bell - First Aid Kit. I love this band so much. Most amazing concert I've been to. This song is just really singable and nice. The whole Stay Gold album just slaps.

9. Coul as a Ghoul - The Voidz. This song is just fucking coul.

10. Spectre - Radiohead. I have had a thing with this song for a long time. Still bitter it wasn't used as the Bond Spectre theme, it just fits better than the Sam Smith song imo. It's a Radiohead song so expect mood.
