...kisses you as if you are the one asking for it. It's the embarrassment speaking when he rolls his eyes and leans in to kiss you. He's attempting to tease you to avert any and all attention from how flustered he actually is. Oh, you missed him so much that you want a kiss? Okay, fine, come here.

But believe me when I say he's overjoyed on the inside. You can feel it in every kiss, since he makes it his mission to put all his feelings into it so you can feel the things he's too embarrassed to say.

Yuki Rurikawa...

...kisses you when he feels like you deserve it. He's a critic and will tell you his mind without much of a filter, if any at all. There is just no reason to sugar coat it. And since he wants you to do your best and realize how much you can do, he made it a rule to give you a kiss everytime you did something good. Only in private though. It's light and soft, innocent, and always aimed to your cheek. He's not ready for kisses on the lips yet.

Muku Sakisaka...

...kisses you with much hesitation. His heart already beats 10x faster than normal when he grabs your hand, so imagine how he feels when it comes to kisses. Cue him overthinking about anything there is to overthink. Location of the kiss, kind of kiss, lenght of the kiss,...

He wants every kiss he gives you to be a good one to you, so you still want to kiss him the next time. So he forgets his age and that a peck on the cheek is already more than enough.

Misumi Ikaruga...

...kisses you three times. Three is the number of corners and sides triangles have. And triangles equal love. And you are the one he loves. So see it as an extra sparkle of affection besides the kisses themselves. His kisses are loud, and with that I mean the 'mwua' he makes whenever he kisses you. It adds a certain playfulness to the kisses which he really enjoys. His kisses are just loaded with energy, having the goal to make you giggle and hyped up as well.

✿ you were an amateur actor, who'd just recently joined the summer troupe. you'd explained to izumi that you were there to learn more for your craft, though in truth you'd just ran away from home and needed a stable place to stay away from your parents.

✿ you were 17 at the time, though you told izumi that you were 18 so that she wouldn't want to call your parents. tenma was 16, a good year younger than you.

✿ you got to meet tenma after his audition, as you'd been been staying at the company for a week already before anyone else joined. you weren't there for the audition, so it came as a huge surprise when you were told that you'd be rooming with a famous actor. tenma's arrogance immediately soured the relationship though, which lead to some shenanigans with the rooming.

✿ the first day of rooming together, you locked tenma out of the room, to which tenma responded by hiding all your beddings. your mutual messing with each other continued for a week before the two of you came to any kind of understanding with each other.

✿ tenma wasn't really impressed by you upon first meeting, and he fully expressed that. after the bedroom incident, he was rather certain that he hated you though that changed after sharing that room with you for a while. you thought that tenma was an arrogant brat, and frankly you couldn't stand to be around him for any longer than necessary. you somewhat softened your view on him after spending time with him, but you still considered him to be a complete prick.

≿━━━━༺❀ yuki rurikawa ❀༻━━━━≾

✿ you were the young heir of an old money family company. you'd just recently been "disinherited" by your parents, temporarily, as they felt that you needed to experience normal life. so, you decided to join the mankai company as acting was a huge interest of yours.

✿ you were 15 at the time, in izumi's opinion far too young to try and live independently. you didn't really understand her point, so she gave up trying. yuki was 14.

✿ you met yuki during the audition, when you spotted him and started gushing over his outfit. yuki was sort of off-put by it, especially since your own clothes were name-brand and extremely expensive looking. seeing you get along so "well", izumi paired you up to room together.

✿ you and yuki's room soon became a hub of creativity, especially once you were appointed as the company's official stylist. it was to the point that the rest of the summer troupe wondered where the two of you slept since the beds were usually covered in fabric and make-up kits.

✿ yuki liked you quite a bit, surprisingly. while you were definitely a snobby rich kid at times, you were also naive in a way that made you completely sincere and honest with everything you did and said. not to mention how you didn't question his way of dressing at all. you thought yuki to be the most stylish person you'd ever met, especially once you discovered that he made his own clothes. you'd never even considered that that was a thing that you could do, and couldn't help but admire his talents.

✿ you were looking for a place to live, as you'd be starting medical school the next year to become a paramedic. you happened upon a flier for the mankai company audition, and as acting had been a hobby of yours you thought it was the perfect place.

✿ you were 16, having just recently turned prior to moving away from home. you were a bit young to actually start medical school, but you were given special permission as your mother was a famous doctor. muku was 14.

✿ as you were arriving to the audition, you saw muku walking to the theatre. you didn't really draw any attention to yourself, but muku noticed you and got startled, which almost ended up in him falling over and hitting his head against the curb. thankfully, you had quick reflexes and managed to stop his fall and shield his head.

✿ muku became extremely shy around you, but after the audition when you were both accepted into the troupe you were paired together for a room, which is how muku found out about your cute med-kits and decorations.

✿ muku admired you immensely, the moment you saved him he thought that you were one of those dashing princex's from his manga. that, and your dedication to helping other people made him grow a big fat crush on you very quickly. you thought muku was rather cute, though you were very confused about his muteness around you. but you thought it was fitting that you were set to room together, as the small omega fit perfectly within all your decorations.

≿━━━━༺❀ misumi ikaruga ❀༻━━━━≾

✿ you were just a little kid, experimenting with photography and living with your grandma. your parents weren't really fit to take care of you, but you'd been given a polaroid camera by your mom, which left you with a curiosity for the craft.

✿ you were six years old. you'd been staying with your grandma for a year at that point. misumi was five years old, though in actuality he was almost two years younger than you.

✿ you were outside taking pictures with your camera while your grandma was entertaining a friend inside. while taking a picture of a tree, a certain triangle-loving kid popped into frame and scared the hell out of you. turns out, your grandma's friend had a grandson that he'd bought along that was now attempting to save you from what you were certain was a heart attack.

✿ now, obviously you were not experiencing a heart attack. and after misumi managed to get your breathing under control, the two of you got along rather well. and so the two of you would often start to be found together, having play-dates outside.

✿ misumi thought you were so fun and cute, even after the scare of your (not really) heart attack. you were always nice to him, pointing out triangles for him and even having pictures of them ready every time you'd meet up. you were certain that if you were not looking after misumi he'd manage to get himself seriously hurt or worse... lost. so you made it your life's mission to take care of him, and it definitely wasn't because you thought he was really cute.

≿━━━━༺❀ kazunari miyoshi ❀༻━━━━≾

✿ you were a social media influencer looking for a theater company to join. your mother had been a theatre actor in her youth and you wanted to get a taste of her life that she described so dearly. though you weren't really interested in it personally.

✿ you were 19, you were still in university though you didn't attend it all that seriously. kazunari was the same age as you, though miraculously you'd never come across each other on campus.

✿ you'd made an innocuous post on one of your less-known socials about looking for a theater company to join, which kazunari as a fan of yours happened to see. he, knowing you went to the same school, tracked you down and invited you to the mankai company auditions. you hadn't really been expecting anyone to understand what you wanted, so you were a bit shocked by the sudden invitations to say the least.

✿ when you did actually attend the auditions, you got the part and as you were recommended by kazunari the two of you were paired to room together. izumi would soon come to regret that when you started getting along like a house on fire.

✿ kazunari had been a fan of you for a long time, your cute aesthetic and your joyful personality that radiated sunshine everywhere drawing him in long before he actually met you. and discovering that most of it wasn't fake just made him like you more. kazunari was a... lot, at first anyway. he was sort of confusing, showing up out of nowhere and solving your problem, but after spending some time together rooming you realized how similar the two of you were.

✿ you were an aspiring actor, with a bit of a problem. you had an extreme case of insomnia that often ended in you either not being completely there during performances or straight up passing out. but you had determination to achieve your dream.

✿ you were 16, the same age as kumon. you'd both been attending the same high school, but your social circles were so different that you'd never actually met before.

✿ you were out seeing a play by the mankai company, a local performance that kumon was helping with. unfortunately you'd not been properly sleeping for the last week so you fell asleep during the performance, right onto kumon's shoulder as he'd sat down next to you to watch. while surprised, he gladly let you use his shoulder as a pillow and woke you up once the troupe was leaving.

✿ after that whole bit, you decided to pursue joining the troupe as you thought theatre acting would suit you and your insomnia better. and surprisingly izumi took you in gladly, and set you and kumon to room together.

✿ kumon thought you were cute! especially your sleeping face, you just look so peaceful. and after starting to room together, he thought he'd get to see you sleeping even more, but to his surprise you spent most of your nights completely awake, often scaring him when he woke up in the middle of the night. kumon was... a lot for your tired brain. his energy made you seem even more tired and done, but it was also comforting to be around him. though you also thought that he was far too jumpy, in a cute way. not that you'd ever admit it.

🌻 Tenma Sumeragi = mint. Tenma is somebody who always tries to look perfect. As a famous actor, he just needs it, and there were one or two kissing scenes that he had to film, so it would always be a mint chapstick, so he would be fresh.

🧵 Yuki Rurikawa = something neutral, with no real taste. If Yuki would take something with an intense taste, it might distract him from his work, so he choses something less good tasting. Also, I have a feeling, that Yuki often forgets to use his chapstick, because he is too focused on his costumes.

🍬 Muku Sakisaka = strawberry. It’s a sweet taste, just like candy, which is why Muku often uses a strawberry chapstick.

🔺 Misumi Ikaruga = lemon. I believe that Misumi doesn’t use one, like Yuki, because he is too busy with his triangles. But he would use the chapsticks, which have triangles on it.

📱 Kazunari Miyoshi = orange and many others. Kazunari is somebody who loves to try many flavors.

⚾ Kumon Hyodo = cherry or strawberry. Just the same like Muku, and because his big bro would use a similar one.

When you sit Tsuzuru down to tell him you want to wait to have sex due to having had a bad past relationship, he completely understands and is 100% supportive of it

He makes sure that he’s never made you uncomfortable in the past, and he hopes he’s never come off as pushy, and if he has he immediately apologizes for any advances he’s made in the past as the last thing he wants is to make you feel like he’s only with you for your body

He tries to reassure you of all the things he loves about you that don’t have to do with your appearance (e.g. how he loves the way you talk about your interests and hobbies, how he loves the way you think), not so he can assure you so he can have sex with you, but so you can know he’s not with you just because you’re attractive (although he does think you are incredibly attractive)

After you have that talk, Tsuzuru may be more cautious with physicalities in the relationship (e.g. kissing, cuddling) since he doesn’t want to overstep any boundaries and he’ll most likely sit you down again specifically to discuss what you are and aren’t okay with when it comes to physical affection

❂ Misumi Ikaruga

When you tell Misumi about your past relationship and that you want to wait to have sex because of it, he immediately reaches over to engulf you in a hug, feeling horrible that someone as amazing as ou had to go through something like that

Misumi doesn’t change much after you tell him about you wanting to wait, but he is slightly more cautious with physical affection as to not make you uncomfortable and he assures you that if he ever goes to far that you should feel free to tell him and he’ll immediately back off

He’s one to randomly remind you of the things he loves about you, whether it be something about your appearance (e.g. Your smile) or just about who you are (e.g. how your eyes shine when you talk about something you're passionate about)

He can be somewhat impulsive so it’s possible he’ll accidentally cross boundaries from time to time. Don’t hesitate to tell him though, and he’ll immediately stop, apologize, and give you a chaste kiss on the forehead if you’ll allow him

❅ Tsumugi Tsukioka

Tsumugi himself also wants to wait, so he has no problem with doing so when you tell him you want to as well. He’s the same way with wanting to be in a committed and serious relationship before engaging in sexual activities

After telling him about your past relationship, he asks if you want to talk about it. If you do, he sits and listens about your past and offers support and love afterwards, but if you don’t he just offers you a hug and assures you he is not with you just for your body

Chances are your relationship wouldn’t change much after you talked about it with him. He does grow more conscious of what he does as to not give the impression he’s just with you for your body, though

Day 7 “You’re the only gift I plan on unwrapping tonight.”

Pairing: circus!Misumi x gn!reader | A3!

A/N: This is my first attempt at a gender-neutral character, I hope it feels natural! I almost cried because Misumi is <3 (or should I say ∆ lol)

“I’m the best of us at finding triangles,” Misumi argues, and you can’t help but feel his words stabbing at your heart, even if you know he didn’t have that intention. “You learn quickly but I want to be the one gifting you an amazing triangle, I want this from you.” He eyes the fabric hanging from the ceiling, the smile on his face widening.

You sigh, giving up on resisting. After all, Misumi had only suggested this because you had been insisting aerial skills were super cool and you wanted to try them someday. Just, you didn’t think someday would be a day during this Christmas holidays, Christmas Eve at that. Whenever you went to see him performing with the circus, the hanging ribbons took your breath away. The way the other members moved through the air as if defying gravity had you mesmerized. You had simply expressed your thoughts. You never expected Misumi to learn a whole other set of skills just because of one of your comments.

“Don’t worry, y/n, my coworkers taught me properly before allowing me to try this with you. I’ll always be here, supporting you. You won’t fall.” He takes your hand and begins guiding you closer to the hanging ribbons. “We’re not going to do anything complicated. We’re going to have fun.” You can hear the smile in his voice and the strong grip he has on your hand makes you relax a little. You’ve always trusted Misumi, and if anyone can do crazy things that are always within his abilities, it is him. You squeeze his hand, feeling the soft floor give in a little under your feet.

You spend some time familiarizing yourself with the fabric, wrapping it around your hands and wrists, tugging. Once you feel secure enough, Misumi wraps the fabric around your hand and arm, and slides it across your back, moving to the other side and holding it tightly.

“Try leaning back.” You do as he says, and for the first time, you feel that this may not be that dangerous. You feel supported by the fabric you feel against your back, so you place more of your weight on your arm and less on your legs. You suddenly feel his arms wrapping around you from behind. “You’re doing well, y/n.” You feel his lips placing a soft hiss on top of your head and you break into a smile.

“I want to see you do something. Show me what you’ve learnt.” You begin straightening your body and Misumi lets go of you. When you turn to look at him he just smiles and helps unwrap the ribbon.

You exchange places with him and he grabs at the fabric above his head. He then twists his right foot around the ribbon, and pulling upwards with his arms, he lifts himself from the floor. His other foot moves to catch the ribbon at his right foot, and he keeps climbing up for a couple of seconds, moving his body as if it was made of water and not flesh and bone. Looking at the way his hips jerk upwards makes you feel heated.

Once he’s back on the ground, he offers the ribbon to you.

“I’m not sure-” you begin saying.

“I’ll support you so you have to pull up less weight, come on!” Misumi interrupts. You concede and when you’re ready to jump, he wraps his arms around your legs, pulling your body up. That way, you can focus on the movement of your feet grabbing the fabric, instead of being worried about the pain in your arms.

When you finally let go of the ribbon, Misumi plants a kiss on your forehead.

“You’re doing so well, y/n!” You smile bashfully, happy he is always so encouraging with you.

“Can we do something together?”

Misumi nods enthusiastically and leads you to a different piece of fabric, forming a seat. He sits down on it and takes your hands, pulling you closer to him.

“Can you climb on top of me and straddle me?”

You release a sigh full of doubts but he quickly cradles your cheeks, making you look at him.

“I’m still here, I’ve got you.” His reassuring smile and golden eyes calm you, and you begin thinking about how to do it. You decide to lift one of your legs, grab at the ribbon with your hands, and slide your leg around Misumi. When you have to lift the other, he raises his legs and supports your lower half with his arms, making the whole manoeuvre easier. Once both your legs are around him, he embraces you and pushes you against his chest.

“Okay! Now hold on tight.” The second you wrap your arms around him, you feel his arms leave your frame and a sudden jolt has you squealing while both of you hang high, his feet now in the air.

“How did you do that?”

Misumi laughs. You look to his hands and see he is now holding onto the outer ribbon, and when he pulls on it again, you raise higher up.

“Wrap your legs around me tightly.”

You do as he says and clasp your feet together, feeling his arms against your back.

“I want you to let go of me and lean back slowly. Don’t worry, I can hold your hands and my feet will support your shoulders.”

You feel a rush of panic but relax again when you feel the tight grip he has on your hands. You begin leaning back and your head gets a bit dizzy from being upside down. When you feel his feet at your shoulders, Misumi squeezes your hands.

“How does it feel?”

“Weird,” you reply, feeling your heart in your throat. You feel him move slightly and both of you begin to swing slowly.

“Mi-Misumi!!” You feel fear diving through you, and your palms begin to sweat. You grab tighter at him, closing your legs even more around him.

“I’ll stop.” He begins pulling you up again, and once you’re upright you hug him tightly.

“Were you that scared?”

You can still feel your heart beating wildly in your chest, but you don’t reply. He rubs circles on your back.

Once your muscles begin to relax enough and your mind starts processing everything rationally your eyes widen as you feel your weight press down on something that shouldn’t be so hard. You pull away from him, wanting to see his face.

“Your face’s still red,” he says pressing a hand down your cheek while the other grabs at your waist, making you feel secure. “Do you feel dizzy?”

You shake your head and he hugs you close to him.

“You looked really cool,” he whispers, tightening his arms around you.

“I did?” You can’t help but doubt his words, only remembering the high-pitched shrieks and yelps that have been leaving your mouth during his lesson. You feel Misumi nodding against your shoulder.

“It’s not just my heart that thinks that, my body too.”

You feel something twitching against you and your body begins to heat up even more. Feeling your love and desire for Misumi mixing through your body and pooling at your lower half, you tentatively rock your hips against him.

He pants against your ear and one of his hands moves to press against your lower back.

“You looked so sexy,” he whispers, “I could see your stomach and the way you grabbed at me and relied on me…”

“You were really hot too, climbing up so easily. The best teacher and boyfriend I could have.”

Misumi giggles and the hand at your lower back sneaks under your t-shirt, caressing your skin. You rock your hips against him again. Misumi kisses your shoulder and neck.

“You can move all you want. I’ve got us safe.” His lips trace the edge of your ear and you begin rocking harder against him. Misumi’s sigh tingles in your ear and you can’t stop a breathy moan from escaping your lips. You’re alone in the building, Misumi’s circus members gave him the keys and told him to close when you two were done, but doing something like this outside the privacy of your home is new. You can't help but feel naughty and that thought almost sends you over the edge.

“Ah, ngh…” Misumi’s soft moan and trembling make you look down at him, and you see the patch that has just formed in his sweatpants. That is the final push you need to reach your peak.

Misumi reaches for your face and places short pecks on your cheeks and nose, making you sigh with joy.

“Merry Christmas,” he says in between giggles.

After a few cuddles, Misumi pulls both of you down. It takes a few moments for your legs to work as usual, and Misumi starts tidying up and preparing to close the building.

When he brings you your coat, you’re glad both of you wear long enough outer layers that they cover any traces of your little secret rendezvous.

Walking back to your house with Misumi, you notice he is quieter than usual. You give the hand you're holding a little squeeze and he looks at you, a smile already beaming on his face.

“Oh right, you usually celebrated Christmas with your family! Have you opened their gifts?”

Your parents had sent you their presents a few weeks ago, making sure they reached your place in Japan in time for the 25th. However, the parcels in your apartment are the last thing on your mind right now.

“You’re the only gift I plan on unwrapping tonight,” you say, cheeks ablaze. Misumi laughs with joy and squeezes your hand, giving you a quick peck on the cheek, right above your scarf. His nose is warm despite the weather, and it makes you feel fuzzy inside.

“You’re just as great as triangles are,” his voice is so small you almost believe you have imagined it, but his soft laugh tells you it’s real. Tears emerge from your eyes, and you look up, trying to prevent them from falling.

“I know I’m obsessed with them, but I’m also obsessed with you.”

You pull at his arm, burying your face on his shoulder. He embraces you and presses a kiss to your head, gently petting your hair.

Every day is different with Misumi, but this Christmas with him will turn into the most precious present engraved in your memory.

7. ♥ How do they feel about polygamy?

Misumi wasn’t raised to think one specific way of being in a relationship was right or wrong, so he simply goes with the flow. If he has overwhelming romantic feelings for two people then he’d seek out a way to have all three of you love each other unconditionally, especially since it’d be hard for him to make a choice in this case. He’s not the jealous type in general so he wouldn’t mind ‘sharing’ a partner or sharing you with another partner, you just have to make sure he entirely understands what polygamy is and what he’s getting into. 

16. ♥ Do they have at least one bonding activity they devote to doing with their partner exclusively?

Misumi likes to invite you to dinner with his cat family. It’s a special little occasion when the neighborhood cats all gather together in the same area and when he catches wind, he wants to introduce you to everyone! It’s like he’s introducing his significant other to his parents, telling you each ones name and mentioning that they really seem to like you. He’ll bring them food as well as having packed human food for the two of you to eat, sitting and chowing down while the cats mill around the two of you. 

26. ♥ What do they love most about their significant other?

Misumi loved that you cared about him for who he is, that you treasured all of his unique traits and loved him for them. You had never tried to change him, you were never embarrassed by his behavior, you never made him feel bad about being who he was. He needed someone who tried to understand him and even if they couldn’t, still cared about him no matter what.

Not gonna lie, I was struggling writing this one. I scraped the first one and rewrite something entirely different (｡ŏ﹏ŏ) I usually use 2nd person point of view, but I want to try another POV so here we are! I will still mainly use 2nd person pov on future fics, but will also experiment with stuff from time to time!

「Triangle hunting with Misumi is a blessing for you. 」

BA-BUMP!

Two bodies collide with each other, making a big sound that can scare anyone who hears it.

"Sumimiii! I miss you!" screamed one of the victims (or are they a suspect?) out loud. The other person responded with a carefree laugh.

"Oh great. They are here again," a cutely dressed boy said with a groan that held no actual irritation behind it, "also, you were just here in the morning. Don't be dramatic."

They huffed at him, "You are just a hater."

Giving their attention back to the person that is still in their grip, "Let's go triangle hunting! You promised we're doing it after you're done with the morning rehearsal!" they squeal cheerfully.

"Kay~ Let's go! Tri-tri-triangle!" the two chant 'triangle' over and over while exiting the building. The inhabitant of the building is already used to their antics with the triangle maniac, yet it never fails to amuse anyone who witnesses their chaos, "Man! Those two sure are hyped all the time, huh? I'm kinda jealous~"

The boy with the dress gave him a stink eye, "You are the same as them, if not, worst. Especially with the stupid dog."

"Yukki! That's so cold~"

The triangle hunting today seems to be a bit dry. It's been several hours and they haven't found any triangle yet. But giving up is not an option for both of them.

"Ah look! There's a triangle there!" exclaimed Misumi. The two of them approach a kite that is stuck on someone's roof. It's a bit too far for both of them to reach it by hand, so they need to climb up. Without warning, Misumi jumped easily up to the tree. Before he maneuvers his way from the branch to the nearby roof, he looks back down at his friend who is starry-eyed from watching his movement.

"Whoa! Nice one Sumi! Wait, I think I can do that!" they said. Right after that, they tried to recreate the exact same jump Misumi did. While a bit sloppier, it did the job.

Misumi clapped his hand when his friend reached the same branch he's been sitting at, "Ehe good job!" he pats their head, making the other person beamed happily.

Misumi averted his gaze back at the treasure that he's been eyeing on, "the triangle is there! Do you want to try to get it?" he asked them, receiving an enthusiastic nod. They prepare their position steadily, and leap to the roof. But they didn't land on the roof. They fall before they reach their target.

Misumi yelped their name in concern, and immediately jumped down to where they were, "are you okay?"

With a groan, they pull their right hand to reveal the precious treasure they successfully acquire, "I got it!"

Misumi's pupil dilates once he sees the kite that snuggled peacefully in their grip, "Waaah, you got the triangle! Well done~" he exclaims happily, "Your triangle hunting skills improved! But be more careful next time," Misumi said while cleaning up the dust that covered them from the fall. They chuckled proudly, and managed to get compliments from Misumi once again.

Before they painfully attempted to stand up, Misumi picked them up easily, "Don't move, it must be hurt! As a payment, I'll help you walk back and treat your wounds, and also give you lots of yummy onigiris!" they gasped like a child meeting Santa on a Christmas night, "Yes! Sumi's onigiri! Thank you!"

Both of them walk back to the dorm happily. Well, only one walking and one being carried by the other. The day can't be any more fulfilling for them.

Before getting yelled at with concern by one of the older Mankai actors that saw how messed up one of them ended up looking.

For the fourteenth time.
