Уютная теплая новогодняя фотосессия всей семьи. Очень редкий момент, когда вся семья смогла собраться и отпраздновать наступающий Новый Год. Все нарядились, украсили дом и настроились на хороший лад. В гости также пришли близкие друзья Мира и Альви.

“What’s going on?” When we come home, Axl is sitting on the front steps with Taku Akiyama. They both jump up as we approach.

“I didn’t invite them, Mom.”

“He didn’t, Miz Parker,” Taku speaks up. “This was all Miki’s idea.”

I enter the house in high dudgeon, leaving the rest of them in my wake.

“C’mon, do it again!” Stevie pokes at a boy on the couch. 

“Yeah, Kiyo, do it again!” Miki tugs at him. “Or give me back my simoleon.”

“It’s just an illusion,” Joan insists. “If Freddie saw it again, he’d figure it out.” 

“Oh, no,” the strange girl on the couch says, “Kiyoshi is magic!”

I dial back my indignation as the kids introduce themselves and we sit down to talk. 

“Mom, Kaori knows everything about the monkeys!” Freddie gushes.

“We brought some snacks, Miz Parker,” Miki says. “I remembered you’re vegetarian so I made veggie yakisoba.” 

“Didn’t you say you made the yakisoba?” 

“Yeah.” Taku rolls his eyes. “It was going in our lunches this week. Look, I don’t know what happened but I hope we can hang out more this year. I miss you.” 

“Yeah. Me, too.” Axl throws a handful of confetti. “Cheers!”

The crowd makes for a very festive midnight!

“Happy New Year, Kaori,” Freddie says.

“Oh, you, too, little guy,” she replies before Kiyoshi swoops in for a kiss. 

“I can’t wait to see what this year holds for us.”

“Happy New Year, my love.”

“Does anyone need tucking in?”

“Poppa!” Freddie, who has claimed my seat opposite Kaori, is indignant.

“It was nice to meet you all,” Noe says to the room. “Happy New Year!”

“Don’t stay up too late,” I caution. “We’re traveling tomorrow.”

We retreat upstairs, leaving the kids to their party.

“When are we getting married?”

“Monday? The courthouse?”

At first I thought it was infatuation. (He ignores me.) But ooh, it's lasted sooo long

Now I find myself wanting – to marry you and take you home

“Take me,” I whisper.

Farrah's POV:

Arriving in San Myshuno was surreal to me because I never thought I'd actually take the chance to move half way across world, but I did it! I was quite fortunate to find an affordable apartment in the Spice District (let's be honest it was cheaper because it needs some work). The first few days were a bit rough trying to set up my place and dealing with some issues at the apartment...but I I got a visit from my neighbours and they seem nice. Can't wait to explore some more and start getting to know more people.

Because not even 2 days ago it was 13 July and it marked 38 years since Live Aid, I decided to recreate a bit of the amazing performance that Queen gave that day. Bottom picture is Freddie performing ‘Is This The World We Created…?’ with Brian playing his acoustic guitar. I meant to post this exactly on 13 July but I was delayed and one of the reasons is that while I was making the boys pose for the pictures I was about to take, they all suddenly…burnt to death. Oups :))
