Behold, a duck

Took me a little more than 3 days but, here’s a duck for my dad!

I chose a mallard since I wanted to make it stand out with the green and I just love how he came out.

My mom’s friend even gave me a lot of left over yarns including the white fuzzy yarn used for his neck and wings!

i’d say i’ve been working on this particular au for about four years now? it’s been a long time! i started clobbering ideas together right after i cracked open hyrule historia to justify some of the headcanons that it gave me, and i think everything really started to take shape just before we all met!

which is to say that this whole thing started so that i could justify making wizards kiss. but yknow. cest la vie babey

Aaaa sorry to worry you! I’ve been doing a lot better, my life has a good amount of structure again and it’s been keeping me busy in a chill, good way (for a couple of months though my disappearance was uhhh due to less good things I feel like :’) but we’re past that now). Kirbo, just kirbo💖

The purple one is the one I finished today for myself since I wanted to crochet with this purple yarn I’ve had for a while. Probably one of my personal favorites ✨

The regular one was given to bf for Valentine’s Day. His got some special stuff like sparkling yarn and an open smile! Went with pinks since fit the pattern better at the time.

It’s all basic shapes- feet are three rounds of increase by six (18) then 2 rounds of 18 before decreasing back and finishing off!

Arms are three rounds of six- leaven long tails for sewing later.

(Sew feet in the inside once you’ve half done with sphere and place arms where you feel it’s best! The face should be a row or two above the arms)

The body is just your basic sphere with 42 being the largest amount of stitches per rounds. The first 7 rounds are just increases by six- followed by 7 rounds of 42 stitches and you decrease before finishing off and sewing it up on the top.

Owl time!

Finished this one last night, and I’ve a lot more to do but I wanted to share this one because it’s really pretty.

I’m really proud of this one since I did a lot of things that made it pop such as the tail!

For my other sister who loves owls! My hands need a break for a bit since this and the others took a lot out of me.

Toxic boi

I just finished this toxic lad after having him sit around since last week. I was sick and originally, he was meant to be a duck. I was so sick that I got frustrated with him- turned him into this!

I even added angy brows to reflect my mood at the time. The spots definitely added on to my time and effort into him. He’s totally bappable!

I based it off the cursed/poison shroom from the mario party series. The colors just happened to work out nicely💖.

He’s just a lil guy

I finished him yesterday for my lil brother’s present. He took a week due to me making the limbs separately and the head/body into a single piece.

Despite the yarn being a mess to work with, I think it came out stunning!

Behold, the dark boy

So I took a stab at crocheting a doll for the first time. I loosely based off this toon link plush. It’s a gift from my boyfriend for upcoming anniversary this year.

The torso was the first thing to be made, and I worked into like 30 stitches and for the belt I had to switch over colors and did a single crochet and then double crochet, and then single crochet, while also adding on a magic circle button to basically make the belt buckle.

then I increase the amount of stitches to 36 to make a slightly larger skirt bottom

The head was done separately and let me tell you it was a pain in the ass to do everything on the head, including the cap. The head was roughly 36 stitches at its widest, and I had to slowly add on all the details. Even crocheted, a sort of wig cap to go on top of the head so I could do the hair once I had the head all set up.

The cap basically started out with two rounds of six and then three of each subsequent round until we hit 36 and then we had like 3 to 4, possibly five rounds until I feel comfortable enough to sew it onto the head without it looking stupid.

Then, after a little surgery, where we got the head attached to the torso, we made the arms. I had already crocheted the sleeves, and I simply need to make the arms themselves once that was done it was merely a matter of sowing them into the hollowed out carcass that is the torso.

then I basically made the legs by making the individual boots and socks, before crocheting them together until I had rounds of 30 stitches into eventually where I sewing those bad boys into a roll just below the belt because that one was still 30 stitches so it be a more discrete insertion.

once that was all done, oh boy, dark link was given life. And that’s how I made my first doll that looks like this.

Today's my birthday and also apparently Eevee day!

So, I decided to draw myself with my favorite non-legendary pokemon of all time Espeon. To think that not only I share a day with an evo line but I also share the birthdays of the actual gold and silver games along side ruby and sapphire as well as colosseum!

Espeon has always been one of my favorites since I was small due to it being purple. That and it kicks a lot of mon's butts if trained right. Also I just love the sun and moon aesthetic it shares with umbreon in relation to its evolution mechanics!

Merry Christmas, have a kirbo

Merry Christmas!

Here’s an old pic of a gift I made for my boyfriend. Didn’t post it earlier since he does occasionally check out my tumblr.

I made him a blue Kirby since he likes Kirby and the color was chosen for a reference to a thing we did together( we played fsa and he named blue link Blooregard! ). He was originally meant to have a cap but my hands were killing me and I was in the crunch of my life with these projects.

Anyways, he loved to bits and I couldn’t be happier about it!

If I could control time-TOTK

This picture contains spoilers, if you haven’t gotten past certain parts of Tears of the Kingdom; please turn back- you’ve been warned

I am going to blunt, learning everything that has lead up to the master sword’s return is brutal. From Rauru losing Sonia to Zelda sacrificing her humanity. It’s painful as both are deaths in their own way. One’s quite more direct while the other despite not being explicably death, is one of the mind. 

Rauru lost the one person other than his sister and potentially Zelda, he felt close to. The person he chose to spend his life with. His tears are quickly turned to action as he commits himself to sealing Ganondorf away. 

Zelda on the other hand, is forced to give up existing as she was. As a dragon, she’d have no memory or thoughts outside the listlessness of a wandering beast. The tears that are shed are heartbreaking as Zelda is effectively lost in the aimlessness of draconification. 

Both left in a state of death, not being fully able to grieve properly and forced to play their roles. Having just lost a loved one myself recently, I am probably projecting my feelings onto this piece. I wish I could control time and just spend some more with that person. 

Alas, I cannot and all I can do is keep on living while I have my own time.

I haven’t posted any drawings in a while due to life and the previously mentioned passing of a loved one. So, please pardon this depressing post.
