DragonCon 2022 has come and gone and I’ve begun the process of righting my house from the absolute disaster it becomes every year in the lead up.

Good time this year. Crowd was limited to 60% of its maximum size, which I think happened in 2019.

I spent most of my time in Star Trek panels, art, and music stuff.

If you took a fortune cookie from a sketchy armed Lorca-inspired starfleet captain - that was me. If it tuned your tongue black, congrats, you got one of my very special and somewhat rare Misfortune Cookies. There were 13 misfortunes to 100 regular ones. I thought I had brought too many but it turns out DragonCon likes it’s good (and bad) luck confections.

I guess I had good fortune because I accidentally ran into a dead ringer Michael Burnham AND sat in on panels with some of the super cool actors from Disco. The fans in the Q and A panels asked surprisingly interesting questions. I’m seriously considering going to a full on Star Trek convention at some point in the future
