Poor Barbatos. I swear the fandom is always gleefully taunting him with his fear of rats. So much of his fan content is rat related lol.

To be honest with you, I think Barbatos would know you were messing with him. That you purposefully chose a movie about a rat that cooks to make him crazy.

So it depends. If Ratatouille was genuinely like your favorite movie prior to meeting Barb, he would suffer through it for you. I don't think it'd bother him too much considering it's animated and fictional. If he was dealing with actual rats in his actual kitchen, well, that's a different story.

But if you just brought it to movie date night to deliberately get a reaction from him, then you might end up in trouble.

Depending on the type of relationship he has with you, at this point you could end up completely forgetting about movie night altogether. Because if you're being a troublemaker on purpose, he's going to take that as a sign that you need some attention. Things could quickly escalate into sexy punishment territory if you get what I mean.

But if you're not quite there yet with him and he sees that you're just kinda playing a prank on him, he'll probably smile indulgently and tell you that he would love to watch the animated rat movie with you. Then he'll distract you with kisses through the whole thing because who wants to watch rats cooking? Not him.

let me clear myself up. i dont hate jennifer keller. shes just not a good replacement for carson and shes not good for a romance choice because, i cant stress this enough, forced canon het relationships are absolutely exhausting to see and sit through in a tv show that brought me so much comfort in middle school. also her being forced into being one of the "gang" is mildly aggravating because it was conceived with no organic buildup or presence. like why are they having lunch with her and chatting like theyre friends? she had barely any scenes before this episode.
