He caught a recording of his voice! His voice from his Future Death self! Oh my god that’s fascinating

Also, idk if Blue is supposed to come off as “look at me I’m so Different, what with my diy fingerless gloves and that I cut my own hair,” or maybe it’s just the way the narrator reads her. The narrator sounds like an old man and when he describes her it just feels sort of… judge-y. Criticizing the youth of today, or whatever. I’ll continue listening to this audiobook for now, but maybe I can find a different narrator for this story later.

Gansey was trying to see the Future Dead? I wonder why, I mean he says himself that only people with the second sight can see them and he’s barely got the first sight without contacts/glasses. He doesn’t know he was part of them last night, either. I’m gonna guess that Blue is his soulmate rather than his killer, because 1) he’s got a main POV in the book, and 2) I don’t think she could kill a person. I mean, maybe she could, but with what I’ve seen of her so far, I don’t think she’s got it in her to murder anyone. Maybe once she is a ways into her Magical Journey or whatever, but I don’t think so now, at the beginning of the story. But that’s just me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Blue’s an amplifier? How interesting
A family filled with the occult, and she’s the most normal. Or the least, depending on how you look at it — the only one without noticeable, flaunt-able powers is the odd one out among family, but normal among friends (assuming she has friends, although so far it seems she’s being painted in an “outsider” light. She cuts her own hair, diy-ed a pair of fingerless gloves because better it look cool than serve its purpose… I like her)

Oh my god Spotify doesn’t even save your progress on the album-audiobooks. I’ve listened to other playlists in the past few days and now all my progress with The Raven Boys is gone? Ffs Spotify, get your act together on these audiobooks. And hell if I know where I left off…

Gansey’s death, according to the scry bowl: he was there, and then he disappeared. Stopped existing.
Theory: Mora said there are places she can’t see around the town. Maybe Gansey fell into one of those places, which happen to the the tomb he’s looking for - maybe he doesn’t die at all? Maybe I shouldn’t get my hopes up for him not dying.

Gansey, what are you doing looking for a tomb? You wanna get rich and famous outside of whatever your family has, or something?
‘I’ve looked in all the sketchiest places’ dude WHY, why not go to a reputable occultist or something? Blue’s aunt has a website, for Pete’s sake.
