I was reading some of your older posts about Saeran and Ray and I had an idea… I imagined that Saeran/Ray is half(?) neko, which mean he shows his ears and tail only in certain momens/moods. And let's say he do that when relaxed, flustered or excited. Lately he was so busy that he almost forgot about it (and let's pretend he somehow managed to hide cat features from Rika and other believers at least as long as he was in minteye). And guess what, he begins to accidentally show it when he is with mc. How could he react if MC gets verry excited and touchy (thou they would never cross the line or touch/pet him without his permission) and repeats how cute he is and is so so curious about him.

Or what if once MC forgets themself and without thinking gently touch/caress his tail and if he jumps they immediatelly get apologetic? sdfsdf

I thought about a situation when Ray tries to hide his cat features from mc afraid that they're gonna think of him like "don't look at me I'm so ugly/weidro or whatever" and ofc mc never would think like that and tries to comfort him sdfsdfsfsdf

Ray wouldn't know what to do. More likely than not, his presence as a hybrid creature would be something he's ashamed of. He would think himself to be no different than some kind of monster, even if people don't think of cats as monsters, he knows that because he’s not fully feline or human, people will think there’s something wrong with him.

He and Saeyoung likely spent their childhoods not only afraid of the chance that their father could kill them, but afraid of what might be waiting for them in a laboratory. That thought would always be in the back of his head. There are cruel people in the world like that, people who would want nothing more than to experiment on him and find out why he is the way he is.

He's not sure what's a worse conclusion for him outside of paradise, to be killed or to be experimented on. Saeyoung always told him the fate outside of their house would be worse... but they needed to find a way to hide their ears... their tails... so they could blend in and try to disappear.

So, he's already going to be at a natural disposition when it comes to believing you could ever like somebody like him. His insecurities are already as bad as they come, but this just adds another layer to it that he needs to learn how to overcome. It's hard enough to believe that you would want somebody who can't be strong the way he needs to be, even more so to imagine you would want him when he's not even fully human!

How could someone as wonderful as you like someone as...

Someone as monstrous as him?

Imagine you did stroke his ears after shyly asking if you could touch them. He doesn't know how to tell you no, and even if he's kind of uncomfortable with the thought of what might happen when you touch him, there is a part of him deep down that wants you to pet him and call him precious. It feels wrong to want that, but he wants the chance to be precious to you. 

He always feels like that, unsure of what you want and if what you want aligns with what's burning deep inside of his chest. But, the fear would fade away in an instant the second you stroked the back of his head in just the right spot. His eyes would widen, and a rumble would come from the of his throat, something he would later realize was the sound of a contented purr. Your smile would reassure him before the fear made him look away.

"That's my pretty kitty," you'd coo without shame.

And by God, if Ray wouldn't want to be your kitty forever after that.

Okay but V's infiltration of minteye. How did he do that? Was he a member at some point and they forgot to cancel the membership? Did he somehow join without Rika knowing? Did he beat up a beliver in some shady alley and steal the robe? Did he have another infiltrator that he could just ask to give him it? How did he do that?
