-the dragon slayers purr

-including Laxus and Cobra (they both get motion sick too so)

-they only do it when they are comfortable/tired

-Natsu sometimes does it when he’s really happy at the guild, or when he’s with Lucy and Happy snuggling in bed

-Lucy was very shocked to know this but thought it was cute

-Gajeel only does it in front of Levy and Lily in private

-Will not admit he does it for the life of him

-Wendy is more like Natsu, but especially does it when she gets headrubs

-Sting and Rogue used to only do it front of each other and Frosch and Lector during the Jiemma period

-after Sting became Master, they do it more now

-Rogue still reserves it for Frosch but it slips sometimes

-Sting will do it if anyone scratches where his hair and his neck meet, or if Yukino makes him blush

-Laxus refuses to admit it’s a thing he can do

-he did it once if front of Freed but he promised not to say

-Erik does it only when he’s about to fall asleep/wake up

-Kinana rubs his head, massages his neck, or threads her hands through his hair. If he presses his ear to Kinana’s chest to listen to her heart, he’ll do it too

I can't stop thinking about Astarion joining Halsin to take care of the 9 cart fulls of kids Halsin inherits at end game.

Like, Astarion mending MOUNDS of children's clothes. Constantly having a squirming small child in his lap becuase he's trying to measure them because they just keep growing.

Astarion always returning from little trips to Baldur's Gate with toys and fun things that he miiiiiight have liberated instead of paying for. (Halsin is always exasperated but never actually mad.)

The kids all seeing Astarion as the thing that keeps them safe at night. They know what he is. They're not scared of him. He chases the monsters away.

he is NOT dealing with questions like this in the middle of the night,

if tim needs an answer then he can write the question down and jason can answer it in the morning when he can give a well-thought-out response,

but he's too fucking done with being half asleep and having to negotiate a situation where an answer can send tim into an existential crisis in the middle of the night

meanwhile tim's all like it's not the same 2 am brain needs answers but 8 am brain has gotten over it
