how bad could it be? || yoonseok

summary: he can't see why what he's doing is wrong, but maybe his summoner can help. in which yoongi learns what love truly is.

warnings: blood, paranormal/unholy beings

characters: demon!yoongi and accidental summoner!hobi

yoongi let another body drop to the ground with a loud thud. this would be his very delicious dinner for the night. he smiled, his spiked and bloody teeth and pink gums on full display. this human was very stocky and flavorful. he was going to like this realm. especially if they had good food like this everywhere!

hoseok came home with a pizza box and a bunch of candles in his hands. "yoongi i'm-" he looked down at the bloody droplets that led to yoongi's room in the basement. he noticed a large splatter of it at the door and sighed. "yoongi!" he listened to the panicked thud of dropping something as yoongi struggled to put on new pants that weren't blood covered.

"stupid human realm pants-" he struggled. he heard his door slam open and he stopped, looking up at the brown-haired man at the top of the stairs. his right leg was crossed over his left thigh and he felt himself start to go down. he accepted his fate and braced himself, when he felt two strong hands grasp his shoulders. "...hello summoner." yoongi said, monotone. he felt hoseok stand him upright.

"hello yoongi. what did you do while i was gone?!" hoseok's relief turned to frustration very quickly. "You have any idea how much it'd cost to get those fucking bloodstains out of my hardwood floors?!" hoseok facepalmed. "i told you i was coming home with pizza. i get home late so you go out and KILL A MAN!?" "i don't trust your human food. it seems revolting." yoongi said, sitting on the floor to nibble on some fingers. "and i killed 3."

hoseok looked around and noticed a dead body in each corner. "...aw, i kinda liked jackson." he mumbled. he snapped out of his trance and turned back to face yoongi. "YOU KILLED THREE MEN!?" he noticed yoongi looking proud of himself with his slight smirk. "THAT'S NOT SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF!" hoseok let go of yoongi's shoulders and helped him put his pants on correctly.

yoongi's smirk faded and he looked down at the ground. "why isn't that a good thing? i got myself food." "in our realm, humans are not food. they are friends and family." hoseok replied.

"...but in my realm, they are a delicacy. anyone who enters my realm from the human realm with a live human is revered. how bad can it be, killing someone's friend because you are hungry?" yoongi asked, and suddenly it all made sense to hoseok. yoongi didn't understand love or any human emotion besides fear.

hoseok thought for a second. "come here." he grasped yoongi's hand and started to walk away. up the stairs, down the hall, out the front door.

 yoongi looked around. "what is there to s- OH MY FUCK WHAT IS THAT BEAUTIFUL CREATURE." he sat down in front of the four legged animal and patted its head. it was white with ginger and brown splotches all over it. it had green eyes as well.

"that's called a cat. i named it minnie." he said with a smile. he noticed yoongi holding it with great force. "don't suffocate her-"

"can she live with us?!" yoongi asked.

"you won't eat her, right? minnie is my friend." hoseok said, hoping yoongi would learn the lesson he was trying to push.

"no, of course not! why would i- OH-" yoongi realized what hobi was saying. "i see. hoseok?"

"yes?" hoseok looked up at him.

"are we friends?"

"of course, yoongi."

and so, they went inside to try the pizza. and yoongi learned that cheese pizza is just as good as any human ever.
