request: Maybe a one shot with Mikaela and an S/o. Something with S/o comforting Mikaela about drinking from them (they/them if that’s okay?). Also maybe something with s/o feeling insecure because they think Mikaela would pick Yuuchiro over them anytime, for anything. Just s/o feeling like they’re second best

“Why do you only drink Yuuchiro’s blood?” It was a simple question, one that you didn’t really expect would catch your boyfriend by surprise. But from the way Mikaela’s head whipped around and he stopped what he was doing, you’d think that you asked him something completely different.

“What?” Mikaela stares at you, waiting for you to elaborate further and you give a small shrug in return, hoping that if you seem like it’s not a big deal, he’ll stop staring at you as if you grew two heads.

“You only drink Yuuchiro’s blood when you need to drink… why is that?” you ask, a bit hesitant if this was something that you truly wanted to know. He continues to stare at you, the wheels in his brain slowly beginning to turn as he processes what you were asking and how to even respond to it. His mouth opened a few times before closing almost instantly as he still couldn’t find the words that he needed.

Eventually, a quiet sigh escaped and he looked away, a bit frustrated. Not at you. But rather at himself. “I just… I don't want to hurt you and… I feel better drinking his blood instead of yours. I know that I won't do it with him but I’m scared that I’ll go overboard if I drink yours.” Mika explained. It made sense, all things considered but you really couldn’t help but think about how… stupid it seemed? Mikaela, even if he can be a bit frustrating to deal with sometimes, would never hurt you so you don’t see why he’s worried about it.

“Mikaela, I trust you. I know you wouldn’t hu—” Mika let out a frustrated sigh, stopping you from continuing any further.

“Yn. I'm still a vampire. There will always be a chance that I can hurt you. Why are you even wanting me to drink your blood? It’s not that pleasant.”

“It’s not that I want you to drink my blood, Mika. I just… feel like a second choice. You go to Yuuchiro for everything. Whether it be for blood, to talk about things that are bothering you or anything in general, you go to him. I have to hear about them second hand because Yuu already thinks that I know about them.”

Mikael scoffed, looking away and focusing on something else to keep himself from looking back over at you. You noticed right away that he was refraining from saying something that he would regret but the moment he looked back at you and his eyes narrowed, he stopped caring. “Really, Yn? I don’t have to tell you every little thing that goes on in my life.”

“That is not what I'm saying Mikaela and you know it.” You let out an exasperated sigh, your hands immediately going to the temples of your head as you tried to keep yourself from getting any more annoyed with him. “What you do or don’t tell me is completely up to you, I don't care. I'm just tired of hearing things second hand from Yuuchiro or any of our other friends and I’m annoyed that you act like my offer to suck my blood so you’re not suffering, is the worst thing that has ever happened to you.”

“I’m sorry.” Mikaela’s voice was quiet and if it weren’t for the fact that he was close to you, you would assume that he didn’t say anything at all. You couldn’t help but look at him with a confused look as he let out a small huff, realizing you want more than that. “I never intended to make you feel like you were a second choice to me, yn. No matter how much I care about Yuuchiro, you’re my partner so I’ll always care about you more. I’m scared of hurting you or showing you sides of me that you may not like so I stick with Yuu on those occasions so I don’t risk losing you. I’m sorry and I promise that I’ll try to at least communicate with you better.”

You nod, smiling at his words. You knew Mikaela was being genuine, he always was with you. “Thank you. It means a lot to me that you apologized and I promise that I'll start communicating better with you as well, especially if something like this bothers me. And.. you know that you can trust me with whatever is bothering you, right? I promise no matter what you say to me will make me love you any less.”

“I know and I’ll try my best to start communicating with you more. I never intended or even wanted to hurt you.” He replied and you nod again, knowing that he was being genuine once again. However, no matter how genuine and sweet he was, you couldn’t help but tease him

“Ah wait… does that mean that you still won’t drink my blood?” You asked, your sweet smile that he loved turning a bit more mischievous. He scoffed and rolled his eyes at your words, regretting apologizing to you.

“You’re so annoying. This is the last time I’m ever apologizing to you.” He grumbled and you laughed, quickly placing a gentle kiss to his cheek and pulling away before he even had the chance to respond.

“But you love me~”

Mika was silent for a moment, staring at you once again before he looked away and pink beginning to dust his cheeks. “…yeah.”

“So, I see you have returned Mika?” The voice of Krul Tepes herself could be heard.

Not long after, I soon could hear footsteps wandering close to the place in which I was standing. I was a human, hiding among the vampires. Well, I guess you could say I was a vampire, considering.

Half of my blood consisted of that of a vamp, causing my eyes to have that slit iris that all vampires have. They had no suspect of the fact that half my blood was that of a human.

The only one who really knew my secret was Mika, which is why he’s one of the only ones here I trust. Not to mention, if any of the vampires found out I was a half breed….

My thoughts were cut off by Mika’s presence composing the door. His blonde hair striking as usual. His blue eyes glimmering, yet not.

“Hey Mika? So how’d the vamp meeting go? Any fun I doubt.” I stroke up, chuckling a bit at my sarcasm.

“Tch, only more talk of how we will extinguish man kind.” He sounded as if he hated the idea. I was none to talk. I understood where he was coming from.

I myself had mixed feelings about such a decision as well. The idea of killing off an entire population, for what? Sure bloods important, but still.

“Let’s go.” Mika signaled to me. I understood, there’s too many ears here.

I said not a word, yet he could tell from the glimmer in my eyes and walked on. I waited not a second to extend my foot forward.

I walked, my foot hitting the concrete bottom of the floor being the only thing echoing through the room. Mika’s presence being the only thing I’m focused on. Lately I’ve been distracted, and I don’t want to be a burden.

Especially not to Mika. I know about his past and everything he’s been through. Mika seems cold but in reality, there are so many emotions swirling around inside of him.

I felt something stop me from walking any further. It took me a second to realize what I’d bumped into. I blinked before I noticed it was Mika’s back.

It didn’t take long for the blonde headed boy to question me.

“Y/n? Have you been getting any rest. I know you don’t run on pure blood alone like full blooded vampires do.” Mika’s voice was way more concerned then I was used to.

It took me a second to adjust. I just looked up. “ I’m fine Mika. You shouldn’t worry about someone like me.” I watched him flinch at the words I laid before him.

His eyes glimmered and shook weirdly. I’ve never seen him look so desperate, no not desperate. So worried? My eyes only stuck to his features. I watched his lips part.

Before his lips could even press play on the script being written in his brain, his arms. They wrapped around my frame and pulled me closely toward him. His left hand stabilizing my head and bringing it closer to his chest. I could feel warm breath on my ear. His heart beat was so quick.

I felt my heart rate pick up and I could feel his warmth spreading. To a point my own face went hot and it seemed as if I could run a fever at any moment. The only thought I had was how close his soft peachy lips were to my ear.

“Don’t say that about yourself.” I felt my eyes widen and my heart felt, tight.

“But…” I felt him squeeze me tighter and closer to him.

“Just rest, rest here.”

“W-won’t it bother you though? Don’t you find me…..”

“Find you, what?”

“B-bothersome?” At my words I felt him seat me down on his lap, his own figure now sitting on the side of a sidewalk under a bridge.

“You’re not any of the sort. You might be half vampire, but you’re nothing like them. And please don’t hesitate to trust me or tell me when you’re tired because I want you to know that I don’t wish to harm you in any way and that I won’t manipulate you like any of those other bastards. I-I…” I felt the hesitation in his voice.

I looked up at him, tears brewing in my eyes. He looked at me softly, before parting his lips to finish his sentence.

“I just want to see you smile.” I watched his lips curve and a beautifully bright smile formed. I could feel it now. Each and every drop welling its way down my burning cheeks. I smiled and hugged him tightly. Gripping his cloak comfortably. His arms wrapping around me rather protectively.

“Me too, Mika.” Those words caused an enormously beautiful smile to appear on his lips before he pulled me to his chest. I heard him start humming. His humming was so gentle, yet soothing. I felt his fingers explore my hazelnut, golden locks.

He smelled like the fresh ocean breeze gliding over the coast on a newly born morning when the sun had finally decided to give you its best smile. The sound of heavy rain gliding into my ears. My eyes growing heavier by the second. I felt so at peace.

“Mika, thank you.” Was the only thing I whispered before I fell victim to sleep herself. I will do everything in my power to help you. Even if it goes against the vampires or the humans, no matter what I’m confused as or seen as…..

You will always be the one that my loyalty refuses to cease with.

The rubble from the cliff drops down into the abyss as your body slides to the end of it. Almost falling until, a cold grabs a hold of you. “Hold on!” Your lover tries to pull you up but failing as another explosion erupts. Dragging him and you both father off of the cliff.

You want to tell him to run, to escape, to save himself when you look up at him. Though, your right hand grabs tightly onto his, as you had lost left your left arm. Your strength starts to waiver as the trauma to your head starts to take a toll. You can feel his grip slipping on you as you can no longer hold on.

You try to hold onto your conscious as tightly as you can. Tears begin to fall as you realize that you can no longer keep up with it. Your lover tries once again to pull you up from the edge, but your strength begins to fail you. Failing to warn them, you let go.

-Yukina saw you caring for the flowers out in your backyard when she had came over to visit you once. Something she'd never seen you do. They were blooming in all sorts of colors and shapes.

-She felt a little impressed that you had done all this yourself. She doesn't often visit but, when she does she likes to see how your garden is coming along.

-If there are any vegetables or fruit ready to be picked, you always offer her some after you've washed them. She'd tell you that they're good but honestly she thinks they taste better because you grew them yourself.

-She'd also love it if you gave her a bouquet of your flowers. She'd keep them in her room and take care of them the best she could. (They'd always look very clean and neat as well).

-" These... these are quite good, (name). Do you have any more? "

-Akito softens up a bit around you and seeing you do something you enjoy makes him smile (just a little /j). In spring and summer you always invite him outside to see your plants.

-He always acts uninterested about them but you can see it on his slightly pink tinted face that he's listening and glad you're talking with him.

-If you put a flower in his hair, he'd get all flustered and tell you to not do it. And when you go to take the flower back out since he 'doesn't like it', he jerks his head away and asks what you're doing.

-" Don't put that little flower in my hair- (name)! Hey- wait don't take it out, it's mine now! "

-Akito is glad you always invite him outside because he thinks it's calming to watch you work and occasionally talk to you about what you're doing.

-Mikaela is amazed you can grow plants so well. He loves coming to see how they're doing and seeing them grow. He will deadass sit there for hours with you and just stare at the plants, waiting for them to grow.

-He's always so interested too. Always asking what they taste like and what each plant is going to grow into. He's a little disappointed knowing he can't try the fruits and vegetables you grow but he knows you don't mind.

-He likes to try to help you as well. He'll wait for your instructions and get mad when he doesn't understand. It's always a peaceful sight and you both end up sitting outside, under an umbrella, together.

-" So.. like this? What?! This is so hard, (name). Show me. "

-He's willing to learn to help you! He wants to make sure your plants grow strong and healthy so you can feel proud of them.

-Ranpo would ask if you could grow sweets. And he'd be deadass about it. You'd have to explain to him that you could infact grow sweet things but they weren't candy.

-He always says it's boring whenever he sees you taking care of the Agency's flowers but in reality, he finds it interesting to see this other side of you. Someone whos usually so focused on work is smiling and sweetly caring for plants.

-It makes him a little jealous that you're paying more attention to your plants rather than him! He'll sit in your garden with you, watching you gently place seeds in the dirt and water them.

-He asks so many questions too. It's like he's never seen the process of a plant growing before. He tries to sound smart sometimes but then gets a little pouty when you tell him what he said isn't true.

-" Blueberries are blue inside, (name)! Did you know that? Cause I did. "

-You'd always laugh a little and then correct his mistake to which you get him pouting a little at you.

“I’d kiss you but your boyfriend’s watching,” Sunghoon mumbles, and he’s so close you can feel his breath on your lips.

He holds your gaze confidently, with a tinge of arrogance as his tongue darts out to lick his lip. You think that Sunghoon is the most annoying person in the world, because how can he look so devilishly handsome and have such an intoxicating effect on you.

It all started when he showed up unannounced and uninvited to your birthday party — still in his school uniform, tie loosened and sleeves rolled up with his blazer hanging over his shoulder.

And you should have known better than to let him charm his way into your house. “What are you doing here, Hoon?”

“So I’ll give you a birthday kiss,” he grins, eyes glinting with mischief as he watches your facial expressions fall, ears burning red as you quickly turn around.

You hate Park Sunghoon and the unimaginable hold he has on you. “I’m going to find my mother. Do not, I swear to god, cause any trouble.”

“Your mother? It’s a little early in the relationship,” he moves swiftly to your side, arms casually slinging over your shoulder as he pulls you closer into him forcefully. “But it’s okay, I’m ready.”

Where in the world does Sunghoon get his cocky attitude from, you think as you try your best to pry and lift his arm away from your shoulder. Despite your surface indifference towards his advances, there were millions of butterflies invading your stomach at his every single action.

Before you can even try to escape, a voice calls your name and you stop to talk to Yunjin. “Park Sunghoon? What are you doing here?”

Sunghoon steals a glance at you, and he thinks you look absolutely adorable as you pout at the image of multiple people seeing you with him; given how you always seemed to have complaints about his overly flirty nature and playboy ways.

But Sunghoon hasn’t fooled around since you transferred into Decelis two months ago, a personal record for him. At first all you were was a form of entertainment, someone who had cute reactions to his smooth pick up lines.

Then it all came crashing down, when he started to feel the need to bicker with you everyday and mess up your hair every time he sees you in the hallways. And somewhere in between the blurred lines, he fell in love.

“Here to celebrate my girl’s birthday,” he cocks his head towards you, who’s palms now cover your face in sheer embarrassment. God, now it’s going to spread like wildfire. His girl?

Yunjin’s eyes widen and jaw drops, “really? You guys are together? But I thought you were with Choi Soobin.” She asks, nudging you.

Sunghoon frowns at her words. Choi Soobin? Since when? Sunghoon literally follows you around school whenever he sees you, and he’s never seen you ever talk to that boy.

“Soobin and I are just friends,” you clarify, “also we are not a couple,” your finger gesturing to you and Sunghoon as you answer the girl.

“Tomorrow we’ll be a couple,” Sunghoon cuts back into the conversation, voice loud, and he catches your surprised expression as he smirks slyly.

Though he continues the conversation without a single stutter or break, Sunghoon’s feeling utterly disgusted. Is that the kind of boy you like? Nerdy losers who can’t do anything for the life of themselves? He doesn’t really like the thought of turning into those types of boys, but whatever you want, he thinks — he’s already practised abstinence for you, he might as well go all the way.

At the same time Sunghoon wonders if you’re really that oblivious to his obvious advancements towards you. He’s made it crystal clear: dumped his girlfriend, follows you around, talks about you literally all the time, and yet you’re still clueless.

And he whisks you away before you find the chance to clarify his words again. He’s determined this time round, to make it extremely straightforward for you.

“Hoon why in the world would you say stuff like that,” you groan, hands slapping his chest. And he grins like an idiot at your touch, if this was what it took for you to initiate skinship with him, he’d be more than willing to proclaim himself as your boyfriend any day.

He places a hand on the place you’d just hit, “it’s painful,” he pouts, and you almost feel a little guilty at your harsh actions, “can you kiss it better?”

Until that. You huff, “i’m leaving,” you announce as you turn away, ready to walk right back into the crowd. Sunghoon quickly clasps his fingers around your wrist, pulling you into his chest.

Your eyes become those of a deer caught in headlights as your body is pressed firmly against his, his arms finding their way to your waist; a gentle but firm hold as he bends down.

“Wasn’t done yet, princess,” he smirks, and you feel some sort of danger looming over because Sunghoon looks like a devil enticing you to commit sin. His black hair styles perfectly like always and his red tie, due to his excessive movements, is now dropping down even more to expose his honey skinned collarbones.

The most you can muster is a mumble, “what,” and your eyes are glassy as you stare up at him, he thinks he might go insane — so close to just moving in to place a kiss on your invitingly soft lips.

“I’d kiss you but your boyfriend’s watching,” and he literally spits the term out, unable to believe he’s labelling someone else other than him ‘your boyfriend’. He knows you guys aren’t together, but just for the comfort of his heart he has to hear it again.

It takes you a while before you process his words. “He’s not my boyfriend, Hoon,” and it’s that short statement coupled with the way you say his name that really breaks it for him.

Sunghoon moves in just as you finish your sentence, and he sinks into your pillowy lips. It’s paradise on earth and he thinks he will never be able to get enough of this feeling.

“Sunghoon,” you mumble when he breaks the kiss, slightly out of breath as you look up with hazy eyes.

He chuckles, “sorry, baby, my bad. I’ll return your kiss back,” and Sunghoon doesn’t hesitate to give you another kiss, fingers caressing your waist as he pulls you closer to him.

This time it’s you who breaks the kiss, way too out of breath to even form full sentences without a few breaks in between. “You just kissed me.”

“Right, I just did that baby,” he smiles, those tiny fangs of his showcased as he gazes adoringly at you. “Actually, I’m looking for a girlfriend.” He pauses, eyeing your flushed cheeks and pink lips, “you looking for a boyfriend by any chance, princess?”

Now that you’re literally glued onto Sunghoon, you take the chance to look at him. Sharp nose, pretty moles that you could probably trace along all day, and his eyes which contrasting to his calm demeanour, held anxiousness as he waited for you to answer.

You’ve thought about dating Sunghoon before. Multiple times. Way more than you should’ve. And you never wanted to ever confess to it, because he was everyone’s crush. And not only that, he was annoying — constantly teasing you and making you flustered by his actions. You’d curse every time your heartbeat started to accelerate at his flirty words. You had thought that there was no way he’d ever like you back.

“I’m looking for a boyfriend,” you admit, letting out a soft giggle at Sunghoon’s overjoyed expression. And you decide that maybe now’s the time to get back at him, tease him a little to get him to stay on his toes, “maybe I should go find Soobin.”

His shoulders drop almost immediately and his arms wrap around your waist securely, chin resting on the top of your head. “No fucking way,” he grumbles, “you’re my girlfriend now. And I’m your boyfriend.”

“Yeah, you are,” you say, voice muffled in the embrace of Sunghoon. And you hear him giggle slightly, the rumble of his chest exposing the boyish feelings your boyfriend was currently going through, “for now.”

Sunghoon lifts his chin from your head, fingers brushing over your cheeks before they land themselves on your jaw. He tilts your chin up, “too bad my intention is forever.” And he places a chaste kiss on your lips again and again.

You are in for a long ride.

Thinking about yanderes who know you better than anyone ever did. They know you better even than you know yourself, that's how in touch they are with your life.

It's natural for a person to have a crush but what he feels towards you is something much more intense to ever be in the realms of normalcy. If you've ever spoken two words with him would be a miracle but actually remembering him would be downright impossible because he is just not willing to show himself to you.
