^^^ Why the predicted migrant surge may not have materialized.
Many immigrants to the United States, going back almost 200 years have tended to overestimate how easy life is here. A few may even have really believed that the streets were paved with gold. In the 19th century there was no Snopes or FactCheck.
Now word spreads more quickly about real life dysfunction.
If you are fleeing your country to escape violent gangs, you may want to think twice about choosing one where kids are murdered in schools because one political party in control of a couple of dozen states gives greater legal protections to Nazis with assault weapons than to kids.

Migrant workers are enduring persecution across Russia following the terrorist attack on the CrocusCity Hall entertainment complex outside Moscow in late March. The crackdown has resulted in mass detentions and the expulsion of guest workers. Moscow experienced its deadliest terrorist attack in the last 20 years on March 22, an episode that claimed the lives of 144 people. Four leading suspects detained in the aftermath of the attack turned out to be citizens of Tajikistan. Since then, the wave of migrant-phobia has intensified in Russia. Russian authorities have tightened immigration rules for Central Asia laborers, and foreigners in many cities have experienced blatant discrimination, and even assaults, according to media accounts. In the days after the terrorist tragedy, reports circulated that labor migrants spent more than 24 hours at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport waiting to enter the country. A Kyrgyz citizens told RFE/RL’s Radio Azattyk that Russian authorities offered no explanation for the delays, even in cases where travelers’ entry documents were in order. Russian police conducted raids on locations in cities nationwide where large groups of migrants are known to live and work. The Baza Telegram channel also reported special police squads were organized to check foreigners’ documents at hostels and on highways. During the week-long period from March 23-29, the Important History Telegram channel reported that Moscow courts received 1,493 cases involving the alleged illegal entry by migrants (Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). Many of the accused had Central Asian surnames. In St. Petersburg, there were 515 judicial proceedings against suspected illegal migrants between March 25-29: deportation orders were issued in 466 of those cases. Of those facing deportation orders, 418 were subject to “forced deportation” with detention, and 48 people were given “controlled independent departure” from the country.

Footage of Texas STANDOFF With 302k Migrants on US-Mexico Border Has Gon...
Like The Walking Dead Season 4, but the Zombies came with bags and are given free shit after they invade. Literally a zombie horde forcing their way in, to consume resources that should've been going to Americans.
But this sudden surge of resources given to these aliens shows that the Gov. had the means to help Americans the entire time but chose not to, which we all knew already but it's confirmed by the same people that left us to burn.
(To clarify, this isn’t on the aliens entirely, yeah some of em are coming here not for some Dream but they want free shit because Biden is an agent, ie. Who allowed them to come in here in the first place? The Illegals aren’t actually taking anything by force--  they’re being GIVEN the shit by your own Administration)
 What a joke.
Every Empire has it's fall. America. your turn.

Five Biggest Border Lies Debunked
Republicans are lying about immigrants and the border. Here are five of their biggest doozies.
1. They claim Biden doesn’t want to secure the border
Well, that’s rubbish. Biden has consistently asked for additional funding for border security.
Republicans have just as consistently refused. They’re voting to cut Customs and Border Protection funding in spending bills and blocking passage of Biden’s $106 billion national security supplemental that includes border funding.
2. They blame the drug crisis on immigration
That’s more rubbish. While large amounts of fentanyl and other deadly drugs have been flowing into the U.S. from Mexico, 90% arrives through official ports of entry, not via immigrants illegally crossing the border. In fact, research by the Cato Institute found that more than 86% of the people convicted of trafficking fentanyl in 2021 were U.S. citizens.
3. They claim that undocumented immigrants are terrorists.
Baloney. For almost a half century, no American has been killed or injured in a terrorist attack in the United States that involved someone who crossed the border illegally.
4. They say immigrants are stealing American jobs.
Nonsense. Evidence shows immigrants are not taking jobs that American workers want. And the surge across the border is not increasing unemployment. Far from it: unemployment has been below 4% for roughly two years.
5. They blame crime on immigrants
More baloney. This has been debunked by numerous studies over the years. In fact, a 2020 study found that undocumented immigrants have "substantially" lower crime rates than native-born citizens and legal immigrants.
Notwithstanding the recent migrant surge, America’s homicide rate has fallen nearly 13% since 2022 — the largest decrease on record. Local law enforcement agencies are also reporting drops in violent crime.
Who’s really behind these lies?
Since he entered politics, Donald Trump has fanned nativist fears and bigotry.
Now leaning into full neo-fascism and using the actual language of Hitler to attack immigrants.
Trump wants us to forget that almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or simply sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.
Know the truth and spread it.

It is also common to hear criticism of Israel described as antisemitic, a fact that has resulted in the paradox of the German state actively suppressing those Jewish voices that do not conform to their expectations. A state-owned cultural center, Oyoun, faces defunding by the Berlin Senate for hosting an evening of “mourning and hope” put together by Jewish Voice for Just Peace in the Middle East, a Jewish organization. On November 9, the city of Frankfurt on Main forbade a planned rally called “Never again fascism – remembering Kristallnacht, fighting anti-Semitism,” apparently due to the organizer’s past support for Palestine. The police continue to selectively enforce bans on such phrases as  “stop genocide,” “free Palestine,” and “stop the war,” often with no prior announcement. A sanctioned protest in Berlin on November 10, organized by a coalition of Jewish and Israeli groups, resulted in several arrests due to the sudden mid-protest banning of some of these phrases. They included the arrest of a Jewish-Israeli woman who held a sign that read: “As a Jew and Israeli: Stop the Genocide in Gaza.” The war in Gaza comes at a moment when every major political party in Germany is lurching rightward on the issue of migration, embracing xenophobic and Islamophobic policies once reserved for the marginalized far right. “Germany cannot accept any more refugees,” Friedrich Merz, the leader of the Christian Democratic Union, the party of Merkel, said. “We have enough antisemitic men in this country.” Scholz, a Social Democrat, appeared on the cover of Der Spiegel in a determined portrait framed by the quote: “We must finally deport on a grand scale.” The specter of antisemitism has proved opportune for mainstream parties, which are threatened by a surge in popularity for the far-right Alternative for Germany, or AfD, whose platform is proudly anti-immigrant. ... Just as reports of attacks on mosques have risen since October 7, recent incidents of antisemitic crimes have produced fear among Jews in Germany. Stars of David have been painted outside Jewish homes; a synagogue in Berlin was firebombed, albeit with no injuries or property damage. These are not isolated events; the number of antisemitic incidents in 2021 was the highest since authorities began tracking them. Yet politicians’ focus on Muslims and migrants as their source runs contrary to the facts. According to the federal police, the “vast majority” of antisemitic crimes – more than 80 percent — are committed by the far right.

The remarkable thing about this migrant surge in America and Europe is that they’re not even pretending to want to stop it anymore.
The border is wide open as a matter of policy, so the people in power either believe right wing populism to be contained enough to no longer matter, or they think even if the right wins any victories they won’t seriously challenge the status quo, like how Italians voted for a “far right”-candidate, only for said candidate to turn into the Italian Merkel in a matter of months

A troubling trend is brewing underneath America's strong employment market: more children are working in dangerous jobs, violating the nation's labor laws and putting their lives at risk.  In the last 10 months, federal regulators have found almost 4,500 children working in violation of federal child labor laws, an increase of 44% from a year earlier, the Labor Department said on Thursday. Some of the children were operating dangerous machinery, such as deep fryers and meat-processing equipment, the agency noted.  The surge in cases of illegal child labor come as some states are weakening their child labor laws, while some lawmakers have also pointed to an influx of unaccompanied minors crossing into the U.S. as an underlying cause. On Wednesday, a congressional hearing focused on the hundreds of thousands of children who have entered the U.S. alone since 2021, with some lawmakers questioning Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra about their safety.  "Earlier this year, news reports detailed cases of unaccompanied minors working in harsh conditions in plants and factories," Rep. Kathy Castor, a Democrat from Florida, said at the hearing. "The reports were shocking and deeply disturbing." Almost 400,000 children have entered the U.S. alone since 2021, according to government data. The numbers have spiked in 2021, 2022 and 2023 compared with 2020, the data shows. A New York Times investigation published earlier this year found that the use of child migrant labor in factories across the U.S. has "exploded" since 2021, and concluded that "the systems meant to protect children have broken down."

Outgoing Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot took to CNN in order to once again request that Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) stop sending immigrants to the Windy City.
Lightfoot sent Abbott a letter over the weekend to condemn his policy of relocating migrants to so-called sanctuary cities, which she called a “dangerous and inhumane action.”
Read a portion of the letter here:
Chicago is a Welcoming City and we collaborate with County, State, and community partners to rise to this challenge, but your lack of consideration or coordination in an attempt to cause chaos and score political points has resulted in a critical tipping point in our ability to receive individuals and families in a safe, orderly, and dignified way. We simply have no more shelters, spaces, or resources to accommodate an increase of individuals at this level, with little coordination or care, that does not pose a risk to them or others.
I know by your actions that you either do not see or do not care about the trauma these migrants have already faced and continue to suffer under the humanitarian crisis you have created. But I beseech you anyway: treat these individuals with the respect and dignity that they deserve. To tell them to go to Chicago or to inhumanely bus them here is an inviable and misleading choice.
While critics have spoken out against Abbott’s “stunt” of bussing immigrants to Democrat-run cities, his administration has defended its actions as a means of generating political pressure for more action on border security. When Lightfoot discussed this on CNN This Morning, she said she hadn’t heard back from Abbott’s administration, “and frankly, I didn’t expect to hear anything back.”
“I felt like it was important to once again try to engage the governor, but also let him know what his policies and practices are doing in cities like Chicago,” Lightfoot said. “We are completely tapped out. We have no more space. No more resources. And frankly, we’re already in a surge.”
When Kaitlan Collins pressed Lightfoot on Abbott’s reasoning, the mayor stood by her point that the governor refuses to engage with her while sending migrants with “serious medical conditions” into her city.
“So if we don’t put the humanity of these migrants front and center — I understand, and I’m solely compassionate to the fact that the borders are themselves really overrun, but you don’t solve that problem by simply sticking people on buses to a city that they didn’t ask to, for an uncertain future, and now we are literally full.”
