I knew someone who said I put “too much pressure on them” to look after me. Because I told them I didn’t need help and I was fine. Because I actually was.

“But you were crying this morning and didn’t tell me to help so I had to do it all myself and that wasn’t fair”. You’ll never guess this but maybe the guy actively saying “I do not need help I get over emotional about tiny things and just need a second, don’t try to help me” might actually NOT be trying to ‘trick’ you into helping him.

In that particular case I was upset because I met up with them every morning but got stressed if they weren’t on time, and we agreed on the fact that they’d send me a text if they thought they might be late, that time they were half an hour late, and not a single text. But when I was a minute late the day before they left without me.

But this sounded stupid so they assumed I was being abused (????) and didn’t want to say that. huh ⁉️
