lying in bed in a pitch dark room that is being illuminated with flashes of lightning, in a house that trembles beneath the booms of thunder.
the lightning flickers and the thunder roars more than rumbles
I am grateful to be inside, comfortably listening to the ensemble of nature's storm safe and content. to fall asleep to the torrential downpour and growls of thunder is bringing me such peace that only being safe admist a storm could bring.

Taylor Swift was right… love can be so surreal, like snow falling on the beach. When you find the person that can contradict every little bad thing “love” showed you before you met them, it can be fucking beautiful.

I made a solemn vow to persist in the pursuit of something beautiful
I made a solemn vow to persist in the pursuit of something beautiful. Tonight, I contemplate on how it feels like to have a serene embrace of a heart so tranquil that my midnight no longer witness tears for the things that do not go right.
I think about how nice it is to have a calm heart, and find comfort in the idea of mornings without the lingering sorrows of the night before. I dream of a…

midnights is not a breakup album but it is an album about examining new and old kinds of hurt which exist next to new and old kinds of love and how those things have and continue to impact your life and your relationships.
how have we gotten to where we are? where can we go from here? i miss you and i love you and i feel suffocated and i want no one else but you. when have i been here before? how do i get through this now?

"Please," said Tiffany, "can we get some sleep? My father always says that things will look better in the morning."
There was a pause. "On reflection," Mrs. Proust said, "I think your father will turn out to be wrong."

Late night short thought #121:
You are a huge bookworm and you have a private collection of random books in all genres in the house. Levi had built you 2 bookshelves in different designs because you couldn't decide on one. He even allowed you to pick a few carpets for the reading corner he made for you. And, of course, Levi showers you with love by buying you books.
Levi would write love notes for you on the first page of each book he bought for you. He would ensure yours and his name were on the book. And your favourite love letter from him is:
"Even after we die, someone who got your books in the future will know that you were deeply loved by me. And our love will continue for eternity until the last book disappeared. ~Levi A. to Y/N A."

~ The midnight library ~
So, “THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY” by Matt Haig, has the power to transform the way you perceive your own life, teaching you to appreciate your present, your loved ones, and most importantly, yourself.
I read some reviews that said It wasn't a book for young people (young adults/teenagers), and that they are not ready to read such a reflection of life. Well, I must say that, from my thinking, this book can help anyone, because in the end, our life is based on the choices we make, but also the regrets of not having chosen a different path, and that is not some adults thing, it's a human thing.
It kind of makes you understand that being critical of who you are and what you aspire to become is unnecessary, even if you don't have your whole life figured out yet.
Please read it, and think about your life, your choices, and your regrets. After reading it, take some time to think; Would you have done anything different? If you still think you should, let Nora Seed's journey inspire you to make a positive difference.

I have no idea if someone else already said this, probably yes, still i think it would be such a good opportunity to explore more of Andraste real story.
It would be fun to have a game where you can play Andraste like every other Dragon Age game protagonist, make decisions, shape her character, drive for change and a better world, even have a romance, only to be crushed by the ending, where no matter what you did and what you chose, Andraste will always be burned at the stake.
Or maybe not.
Because you know what happens to saints, heroes and legends? Their real stories are forgotten, their words rewritten and their tales changed to suit the current needs of propaganda. That's what the Chantry did for centuries probably. Maybe Andraste wasn't even her real name, maybe she wasn't even blonde, maybe she was a mage.
So yeah, my idea for Andraste's tale would be a parallel to the Inquisitor's: two people in place of leadership, associated with religion (bride of the Maker/Herald of Andraste) even if they don't believe themselves, whose origins and actions gets modified or misinterpreted or forgotten (as we see with Inquisitor Ameridan in DAI)

I’ve said it before but I will say it again, “Midnight Rain” and in particular the lyrics “I guess sometimes we all get/some kind of haunted,/some kind of haunted/And I never think of him/Except on midnights like this…” is a thesis of Taylor’s work and understanding how she process her experiences through her writing.
