It’s always “Phoenix swallowed glass” and never “Mia, owner of a law firm, hired a guy who ate glass right in front of her in court.”

Mamma Mia (2008) is really such a fever dream. The night scenes obviously shot in the daytime. The props dept not even TRYING to make the actors look younger in the photos. The actors being drunk on uzo the whole time. The random camera zooms. Bill, Sam, and Harry having atrocious singing voices (just like real dads!). The locals being the Greek chorus. The Movie Musical Cinematic Universe's first openly gay character™. The entire thing taking place in TWO DAYS.
I love it so much.

Have you considered the potentially very cursed option, where Godot/Diego can literally see the world through Mia?
Like, everythings the Void, except for mia, and the rest of the world is visible through her, like a foggy window.
NO OKAY BECAUSE THAT’S THE COOLEST IDEA EVER??!?! I can’t represent it visually as well as I want to right now but I needed to get some idea out
Also I picture the void he sees as being a completely blank white space, BUT I wanted to show the visual contrast without having to draw a background in the space that he can see so
But just keep in mind that the void he sees is more of an anti-void
I want to draw a better visual representation of this later but here’s an okay enough one for now

Been watching a Game Grumps playthrough of Ace Attorney, and I've been reveling in so much nostalgia for it.
So just drew a few characters.

Picked up my replay of the OG Ace Attorney trilogy again and I have to say, the real criticism that needs to be made about Manfred von Karma is that he was such a little wuss back in the days DL-6. "Waaaah I got a penalty, I need to wander around the courthouse in a melodramatic daze for hours and murder someone over it, waaaah." Cry me a river, then build a bridge and get over it. I get penalties in these games every other day in court and you don't see me having dissociating episodes and orphaning children over it, smh. Honestly pathetic behavior. What a gigantic wuss. "Most feared prosecutor" my ass. This man is so stupid he hand wrote instructions so a letter could be traced back to him with his handwriting. He's such a doofus he suggested cross-examining the parrot himself. He could let a bullet sit in his shoulder for 15 years but he couldn't take one measly penalty like a man. He's a joke. Absolutely pathetic. "But I got a penalty!" BFD I've had three penalties since the recess and you don't see me crying about it, sit tf down and put away the taser you big baby. Smdh.

I cannot fathom the exhaustion that Phoenix Wright must have experienced the day after Mia's murder. His friend and mentor is dead. Mia's sister has been accused of the crime. He's been up all night stuck at the police station. And then he goes to talk to the witness, April May, and she's like, "Ooh, a murder! Just like a movie! This is so exciting!"
To make it worse, I'm imagining that the game's relentlessly upbeat music is actually playing in April May's hotel room. What a horrible, surreal experience for a sleep-deprived Phoenix. I'd be tearing hair out - mine or someone else's.
