I'm mostly wondering about your thoughts on Bakugou, Todoroki, Momo, Ochako, Midoriya, and Tsuyu, but if you have thoughts on any other characters I would love to hear them!

Omg I LOOOOOVE THIS QUESTION. Okay so based on their behavior I’d say,

Bakugou would probably do something in sports. He loves to be noticed and praised but also has a love for combat, so probably a boxer.

Todoroki I think would be in some sort of police task force. I’d like to say that in a slice of life au, Endeavor would probably be chief of police or high ranking military, so Shoto would follow suit.

Midoriya would be some kind of researcher or IT. His amazing deductive reasoning skills and desire for knowledge would be really useful.

Uraraka and Tsuyu would own a daycare. While it’s not very high paying as Ochako would want, I think their personalities would fit really well with kids and helping their development.

Momo would probably be a librarian most days, but I’m sure she’d also be actively involved in whatever her family does.

Kirishima would be a stunt double. He’s tough as nails and loves being behind the scenes. I also think he’d be somewhat of an influencer, with his sweet personality and chivalrous demeanor.

Mina would be a dance instructor or a dancer herself! She’s very patient and upbeat, and loves the arts. I think it would fit her well.

Part one

They've probably noticed you were gone by now.

This won't do anything. Sitting here, by the shore, watching the waves toss and turn so freely in the horizon. You can't escape. All this rebellion is doing is making things worse.

Katsuki would probably try to grab you, pulling you by the elbow, too enraged to care that he hurt you. Izuku, ever your savior, would try to dissuade him, inevitably getting into a fight with his pack leader. It would leave you to Eijirou's and Shoto's arms, as they both try to console you and themselves that you haven't left them. You know them so well. You hate it.

But you couldn't help but take the chance to run when they were so distracted. It was all so suffocating. You were so sick of their constant attention. Just one second away would make it all worth it.

So you stay on the shore of the beach, biding your time.

You wonder if you could've done anything differently back then. Back when they weren't so invested in you. Had you accidentally made them think you were available to them? Had you infringed on a ritual usually done by other mates?

Then again, what hadn't you done? You ate their food, you smiled with them, you taught them your language, and you slept with them for fucks sake. How could you have been so stupid?

A sigh escapes your lips. You feel drained. You don't want to think, not now. Mindlessly, you dip your bare leg in the water, swirling it around. The water cools down your heated skin.

You freeze when you catch two green eyes staring at you from beneath the surface.

At first, you think it's Izuku. But the naga hardly ever goes into the water.

And the face is too feminine to be Izuku.

You don't scream until a slender, wet hand shoots out of the water to grab your leg. You shriek, choked with fear as you immediately thrash around. The hand is strong, barely relenting against your rebellion until someone else's hand forces a release.

You scramble backward, tripping over yourself as you try to get away from the water. There's clicking, angry, like a warning. It reminds you of the tone Katsuki uses against a rambunctious Eijirou.

"Sorry," A girlish voice calls out, "Is sorry."

The soft tone catches you off guard. It's been so long since you've heard voice other than Katsuki's baritone roar. Curiosity wins over fear. You creep back, peeking into the ocean.

Two faces look back at you. The first one, the one that grabbed you, guiltily looks away when you look at her. She lets out a small thrill, softly brushing away her green locks. The new face gives another annoyed click before glancing up at you. Her cheeks are round, pink, flushed. She looks so soft as she smiles at you with pretty brown eyes.

"Scare you. Sorry," She repeats.

You stare at them, transfixed. You hadn't even known other beings other than the four nagas lived here. It made you feel ecstatic, as well as a little apprehensive.

"It's okay," You find yourself saying, "It...surprised me. It's okay."

You turn back to the green-haired girl, giving a tentative smile. She beams, seeming positively delighted that you acknowledged her.

"Who are you?" The brown-haired girl blinks at your question. She points at herself.

"Ochako!" She says proudly, before moving to her partner, "Tsuyu."

You nod. They wait, staring intently at you. Realizing yourself, you fumble out your own name. Ochako repeats it on her tongue over and over again. Tsuyu watches her, tittering.

"Others too!" Ochako adds when they're finished fangirling over your name, "You meet? Others?"

You blink, shrinking back. "You mean...Katsuki?" Had you read this wrong? Were these two just goons Katsuki sent to find you.

To your surprise, Ochako's nose wrinkles in disgust. She hisses.

"No. Katsuki bad." She gripes, "My mates. You meet?"

You relax, finding relief she disdained Katsuki as much as you. You nod.

"I'd love to meet your mates," You respond. Who knows, maybe finding new allies could help you get off this island.

Ochako looks positively overjoyed. She trills before disappearing under the shore. Tsuyu stays, silently staring at you.

You wave.

She timidly waves back and you catch her staring at your legs.

You aren't unused to the attention your legs give you. You're an oddity among this kind. You understand that. You fascinate them. It can give you leverage, especially if you want to be liked, to be helped.

"You can touch, if you want," You offer.

Tsuyu blinks up at you with wide eyes. She hesitantly comes forward towards your legs. Her hands linger, just an inch or two away from your skin before she looks back up at you for confirmation.

You nod. She presses cold fingers against your skin, cooing with awe.

As she studies you, you study her. There are a lot of differences between her and Izuku. She's more slender, but considering how easily she grabbed you, their strength must be evenly matched. She has claws that she careful to not nick your skin, but you can also spot some type of webbing in between her fingers. Your gaze travels to her forearms, catching the sight of translucent fins on each one. It makes you wonder if the females of their species are more equipped to water than the males.

Ochako comes back a minute later. You pull away from Tsuyu, who sighs in disappointment. Two more heads follow her. A girl with unruly pink hair smiles eagerly at you. She's easily the most inhuman of them all. Pink skin, black sclera with golden eyes.

The other one, with black hair and inviting black eyes, smiles at you.

"When Ochako said a human was here, I almost didn't believe her," She spoke more coherently than Katsuki did. You wouldn't have been surprised if she was human herself.

"Hello," You breathe, suddenly overwhelmed by the attention.

"I'm Momo," She says. The pink-haired one beside her can hardly contain herself. She nearly jumps out of the water to greet you.

"Mina!" She titters out what is most likely her name. "Hi! Hi! Hi!"

"Hi, Mina," You say, failing to replicate her enthusiasm. She's about to move closer when Ochako gives her a glare, pulling her back. Mina deflates, but she doesn't argue.

"So, are you...?" You point at them, "Naga? You don't look like naga."

Momo smiles, "We most certainly do not." As if to prove it, Mina pridefully lifts up the rest of her body. You gape at the beautiful pink tail.

"Mermaids?" It doesn't sound possible, but you were also kept against your will by four possessive naga.

Momo nods, "There are many words you humans use to call us. That should suffice."

"I'm curious, how did you get here?" Momo suddenly asks, "I don't mean to be rude, but we usually don't get humans at these parts of the world."

"I was shipwrecked," You sigh, leaning closer, already feeling more comfortable with the four mermaids than you did the other naga, "I've been here for weeks with..."

Momo is able to piece together your story, "Katsuki, Izuku, Eijirou, and Shouto."

The other three stiffen at the names. Ochako hisses again. The fins by the sides of Mina's head flatten as she scowls. Tsuyu meekly ducks her head underneath the water.

"You aren't fans of them," You state from their reactions.

"You could say that," Momo trails off as she observes you, "Forgive me, but you have been staying with them, yes? Have they..?" She trails off, scanning you again. You realize she's looking for injuries.

"No," You quickly assure, "They haven't hurt me." Not physically, at least.

Momo nods, looking relieved.

"But...they've kept me here. They won't allow me to leave. There's no way to leave." You let out a mirthless chuckle before staring back at Momo. "Can-can you help me get off the island? Please? I'd-I'd really like to go home."

The three mermaids look at you in pity while Momo bites her lip, her eyes flash with an emotion you can't place. It looks familiar.

"Help!" Mina exclaims, looking around her, "We help! Yes!"

Momo titters at her, effectively hushing her. The four murmur together in a language you will never be able to understand. Mina looks confused at Momo's voice, glancing back at you in what looks like worry. Ochako beams. Tsuyu nods. For some reason, you suddenly feel like you're back in the camp, surrounded by the titters of the naga.

But it's different. They'll help you.

"We will help you," Momo confirms her mate's words, "There's a human island not far from here. I see ships coming and going every so often. Perhaps you can get help there."

Your heart flutters at just the thought of seeing other people again. Then, you frown.

"I...can't get into the water," You admit, "I can swim, but it won't be enough to get me to the island."

"That's why you'll have us," Momo offers, "We can let you ride our backs. It won't be a long trip, just thirty or so minutes."

Your heart soared, and you felt like sobbing at their graciousness.

"Really?" You ask, not believing it, "You'll help me?"

"Of course," Momo croons, "We would absolutely love to help a pretty thing like you."

She reaches out, seemingly to caress your face, before frowning when she fails to reach you.

"You must get into the water now," She urges, "We must go."

You blindly agree, about to jump in her arms, when something makes you pause. The sudden tale of sirens pops into your head, how they lure in sailors and devour them.

Momo never quite confirmed what they were.

You retract your hand, not quite shifting away. Ochako frowns in disappointment. You can't help but think it reminds you of a cat losing its prey.

"What's the island called?" You ask stumbling for your words, "The locals. What-what do they call the land? What language do they speak?"

Momo smiles, but frustration flashes through her eyes.

"I've never really gone close to fully inspect," She casually drawls, "But I'm sure they'll find ways to accommodate you, even if they don't speak your language."

Her voice was sickly sweet.

You can't trust Momo. You can't trust Ochako. You can't trust Tsuyu. You can't trust Mina. No matter how sweet they seemed, how eager they seemed to help, you couldn't get into the water with them.

But you couldn't stay here. You couldn't stay on the island where the Nagas were searching for you.

At least you knew what they were planning on doing with you. The monsters you know are better than the monsters you don't. No matter how pretty they were.

"Come here," Ochako rasps, pulling forward with wide eyes. Her eyes had lost the warmth.

"Or Tsuyu sing song."

You don't get the chance to figure out what that means. A hand grabbed you, pulling you back into a hard chest. Above you, Shouto hisses into the water.

Ochako hisses back, far more animalistic than you ever thought someone like her to be. Mina and Tsuyu looked just as aggressive as they glared at the Naga who gripped you. Momo only blinked, turning to Katsuki who appeared beneath the canopy, Eijirou and Izuku flanking him.

"You're here," She clicks her tongue in obvious distaste, "I thought we'd have more time. How unfortunate."

"Our mate," Katsuki growls with conviction, "Ours. Not yours to take."

The four form a protective shield against you and the mermaids. You don't know whether to feel relief or dread at their arrival. The mermaids try to slink closer as if to attack, but Momo stops them with a small click. She sighs.

She calls your name sweetly. The nagas stiffen, but you peek over them, catching her gentle look.

"I'm afraid we ran out of time today." She smiles. "You must be off now. I hope you visit us soon."

Mina lets out a heartbroken moan, pushing past her mates to get to the shore.

"Leave?" She whines, "No go. No go."

You watch at her pitiful attempt to get out of the water in an effort to reach you. Her tail shows again, pink, sparkling in the sun. Tsuyu is the one who gently pulls her back. Mina sobs in her mate's arms as she continues to watch you.

At her response, Eijirou gives an aggressive growl, stalking up to her. It's Izuku who titters him back.

Momo tilts her head at your frozen stature, "Go on, now." She gently urges.

You give a small nod, letting Izuku push you away from the water. Eijirou shuffles in front of you, clearly checking for any injuries. Katsuki and Shouto angrily click in their language. Tentatively, you glance back at the water, finding the four mermaids still perched at the shore.

Their eyes never leave your figure until you break through the canopy. And even then, you have a feeling you hadn't seen the last of them.

SYNOPSIS the beginning of a teenage girl named y/n who is fresh out of rehab but doesn't intend to stay clean.

This is the first chapter I'm ever writing, I took some inspo from episode 1 but I'm going to have to cut each episode into fourths because I really don't want to spend a whole week trying to finish a whole episode and school work. You haven't remembered much from the ages of eight to twelve. Just that the world moved fast, and your mind moved slow.

And every now and then, if you focused on the way you breathed...

Until every second of the day, you'd find yourself trying to outrun your anxiety.

"What's wrong Y/n?"

Coming down to the kitchen, you could hear the small talk between your mother and younger sister, S/N.

"You said the doctor was in our network. How can he suddenly be out of network?"

"I can't afford it."

"Did you see that video of the girl who got acid thrown at her face?"

"What? No.."

"It's pretty fucked up.."

"Mom do you know where the tampons are?"

"In my bathroom, right under the sink."

And at one point, you'd make a choice of who you are and what you want.

"Alright Gia, let's go"

"Why do the co-payments cost $300?"

"Y/n did you eat breakfast?"

"What glasses?"

You just happened to show up one day, without a map or a compass..

"Attention students, we need to lockdown."

..Or to be honest, anyone capable of giving on iota of good fucking advice.

And I know it all seems sad but guess what? You did not build this system up, nor fuck it up yourself.

But then it happens. That moment where your breath starts to slow. And every time you breathe, you breathe out all the oxygen you have.

Then everything stops: Your heart, your lungs, then finally, your brain. And everything you feel, you wish, and want to forget, it all just sinks.

And then suddenly... you give it air again, give it life again.

You remember the first time it happened, where you were so scared you wanted to call 911. Go to the hospital and be kept alive by machines and apple juice. But you didn't want to look like an idiot, and you didn't want to fuck up everyone else's night.

And now overtime, that's all you've wanted.. those two seconds of nothingness.

You spent a good portion of summer before junior year in rehab. God granted you the serenity to accept things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

"Y/N," your sister yelled from afar, greeting you after your long leave. You smiled, and whilst running up to her, tried to continue the conversation with your younger sibling.

"Hey, Come here!"

"How are you?"

"Good, I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"Look at you, are you growing?"

"No."

Looking over, you see your mother standing by your family car.

"Hey," you yelled out to her, only to receive a small smile from her.

And with that. you knew it was your time to go.

"I'm very happy for you Y/n. You're about to start a brand-new chapter," Your mother says while driving you and your sister to school. You looked at her with a smile, then turned your attention back to the car window.

You had no intentions of staying clean. And yet, Jirou just moved into town.

"There's some new girl in town that I think you'll be friends with," Shoto said, with you standing beside him in his store.

"Who?"

"Shit, I don't know. She came in looking all punk rock and shit; So I'm thinking to myself, like, 'look like somebody Y/n would be friends with'."

Which was sort of a dead-on observation for Shoto, who's not normally revolving in the same direction as planet earth.

"So how long have you been back?" He asked.

"About five days."

"And how are you feeling?"

"I mean, ever since I gave my life over to my lord and savior Jesus Christ, things have been, like, really good."

"Word? That's what's up," You chuckled at his snarky remark, giving him a small smile.

"I'm fucking with you," you said whilst laughing, "It was a joke."

"Shit, hey, I don't judge," he defended, hands raising to just above his chest.

"But for real, is Deku in the back?"

"Are you serious?" Shoto questioned, seeming very disappointed in you.

"What, you think cause' I went to rehab I stayed clean?"

"I mean, ain't that the point?" he asks.

"Yeah, well, the world is coming to an end, and I haven't even graduated high school yet."

You gave Shoto one more smile before going to Deku, whilst Shoto stared at you the entire way there; There was a hint of sadness in his eyes, but since you were too busy looking for Deku, you didn't see.

You opened one of the doors of the refrigerators, leading you right to him with a bowl of fruit loops,"I thought your ass was dead," he said one he saw your appearance.

"And I thought you had Asperger's till I realized your just a prick," you barked back.

"This a fickle industry, y'all come and go. I'm just trying to stack my cash, pay off our mortgage," he said while pulling out a bunch of plastic bags out of a microwave.

"So what the fuck do you want?" You gave him a knowing look before he handed you needed.

"You sure you don't want to try something new?" He asks you.

"Like what?"

•they have a room filled with photos, Items, and merch dedicated to you and they can't wait to show you it when they capture you again

•while battling they'll always be so dazed and distracted when you are trying to fight them or other villains, The way the wind makes hair flow in a badass way, the way your hero suit looks on you while fighting, and how hot you look when ur Hero suit is all messed up showing parts of your skin (don't u dare act sus 🤨📸)

Needless to say, they're all flustered and immediately taking pictures

•even if you get pissed at them for ruining and city putting people at risk they'll still find it cute even when you yell at them, they just can't help it you look like a puppy throwing a fit and the way your cheeks puff up and you turn red makes them wanna pick your little cheeks and kiss them!

• They get super jealous if another villain tries to replace them or tries to plan on kidnapping you or try to destroy you they'll be so enraged and the next thing you know you see that the villain you fought on the news they were found bones broken and neck twisted its a MESS

•Bakugo is the mean but soft type he would always degrade u saying how weak of a hero you are just to get you riled up even more just to see that cute face Bakugod that type

•Kirishima is the good cop bad cop type he always tries to convince you that being a villain is much safer and that Dekusquad are the bad guys and he's also bakugos right-hand man he's pretty much of a delusional type he thinks ur getting corrupted by these hero's you call "Friends" and need to be saving so they could teach you the rights and wrongs

•Denki loves to tease and flirt with you while in battle trying to make you he's the type to say the most unhinged thing without hesitation so he can see your reactions and coo at them his favorite is when you get scared he loves to see you flustered, embarrassed or scared it makes him have that shit-eating grin

Sero is more of a manipulative and possessive type he seems like a chill person who just goes along with the group but deep inside is just as obsessive as the rest of them dude would get angry easily every time he sees you talk with someone and when your away he beats them up and tapes them up somewhere

•Mina is clingy and a bit sadist type she is always taunted. about how much of how cute you are in your hero suit and fantasize about how she wanna use her acid to burn your costume and maybe your skin

•Bakusquad would always try to find a way to "Take you away from harm" but the Dekusquad was like "HELL NO" and always ruined their plans, For example, bakugo and Kirishima were going to get you while you were alone he planned that if they snatch u up while it's alone then no one will find you it was just when the 2 boys were about to jump out he saw todoroki and his worse enemy Deku walking beside you and bakugo and Kirishima glared at how Deku and Todoroki were looking at you like you were there's how Deku was holding your hand and shoots arm was wrapped around your shoulders Kirishima snarled while bakugo growled how dare that scum gets to touch what's theirs but no worries if they ever get you they'll never let you go

Hero Dekusquad

•Ever since Bakusquad has taken a like over you they have been more protective than ever

•Iida insisted that you should train more with him( even on the weekends) and give you advice about how to protect yourself and would give you things like pepper spray, hidden weapon items, and even a taser! Even if you reassure them that you'll be ok he'll always excuse the "you'll never know what will happen"

•izuku and Shoto will take turns walking you to your house checking around their surroundings and making sure that nobody is following you home once you get home they'll secretly stay around your house checking if the bakusquad will come to Shoto convince you to get a ring camera in your house just in case.

•Ochako was like ur knight and shining armor as much as she swoons over you saving her she also wanted to protect you she always wanted a sleepover cause she's scared (and to make sure no villains will break in) When you go to sleep she makes sure that every door, window and even attic is locked up tight she watches out in the night to be sure that mine doesn't hang around on those trees or Kirishima secretly taking photos

•Tsuyu is like Uraraka but a bit more chill Uraraka she'll also make excuses to sleep in your room to protect you and will reassure you that no villain is going to get you and the 2 of you cuddle up while Tsuyu sings you to sleep or either give u cute head pats if Uraraka come over as well she'll bake sweets for the 2 of you and watch movies to get your fear off villains ever coming here

•The dekusquad all live together while u live alone but like a few blocks away from their house

• izuku and Shoto will also help you when you training with Iida Izuku hyping you up and showing you new moves to try out while Shoto makes sure you drink plenty of water and helps you take a break maybe massages ur shoulders or brings you somewhere relaxing and quiet once our training is done

• Mina, Ochako, and Tsuyu would always bicker with each other about who knows y/n more and who they prefer is safer

Ochako: what do you know about y/n you haven't been hanging out as much as We do

Mina: Oh really ~ *Shows them a scrapbook* This is all the photos we had together! (There are pictures of y/n sleeping and y/n going into their favorite restaurant and even changing)

Tsuyu: *Gets pissed* that's stalking not Getting to know them you psycho! *kero*

"Eiji! Eiji, look!" You came running through the house with a box of things you had from school. It was a few years ago, but you never went through it until you were cleaning up the attic. Kirishima had no idea what had you so excited, but he didn't have to wait for long as the contents spilled out when you dropped the box on the coffee table. "Is that...a fuzzy worm?" Kirishima picked up the little fuzzy thing that seemed to have your attention. You were bouncing on your toes, waiting for him to be as excited as you were. It was a something that you were super, super happy about and you wanted him to feel that excitement. Kirishima was perceptive to it, but he wasn't sure he could fake that reaction. "This is cute, baby, but I can't get as excited as you. I don't understand." Kirishima smiled apologetically. "I earned it back in UA at one of the festivals." Now he could get excited with you, "No way! The festival, those games were hard to win!" "Aren't they!"

Iida was trying to sleep when he felt something fuzzy rubbing on his face. You had been out with your friends so there was no telling what was being rubbed against his face. He wanted to drift back to sleep but the sounds of multiple giggles amplified when the fuzzy...thing went up his nose. Iida jerked upright, rubbing his nose and looking over at you. "What is going on?!" His eyes fixed on you and your friends behind you, "What is that?" You were a giggling mess in front of him, a small object hidden in your fingers. "Darling?" You held out your hand, drunken giggling as you dropped the fuzzy worm in his lap.

You both sat on your bed, Denki watching tv and you thinking about the past. "Oh my god!" The sudden outburst caught him off guard as you ran as fast as you could through the house and to the storage room. Denki followed you, a little slower than you had run through, to see what you had gotten so jumpy about. "Is that what I think it is?" Denki peeked into the box with you. "It is!" You dragged out the giant fuzzy worm body pillow, "Look at how big it is!" Denki helped you carry the huge pillow back to your room, tossing it in the middle of the bed, "We can both cuddle it!" The way you immediately jumped into the bed, wrapping your arms around the silly item was driving him crazy. So he popped in the little cuddle fest with you.

What the hell was going on? Why were these little worms all over the house? Tsuyu wasn't exactly sure what the issue was, but she figured she was close enough to the answer. Loud music was coming from the living room, making the froggy hero happy that any neighbors were too far away to be disturbed by the racket. But it was probably a super good thing, especially when she walked into the living room to find you in a sexy worm outfit, fishnet leggings and platform boots. You both made eye contact and, with the music still blaring, and she couldn't hold it together when the googly eyes on the head of it bounced sideways. "What are you doing, ribbit?" Tsuyu laughed, falling to her knees as the breath left her lungs. "I'm dancing!" You laughed with her, "I didn't think you were coming home this early!"

Jiro knew you were...a little strange. You liked silly things, did silly things, ordered some strange concoctions. The last thing she expected was to walk into your college dorm and find your ceiling covered in fuzzy worms. "Wow...your place is...colorful." She mumbled as she took another look around. "Isn't it?" You smiled brightly at her, "I hang one for every good grade I get, or compliment I get from work." And when you said it that way...there were a lot, but still not enough. Not enough for someone like you. Jiro didn't think it was so weird after that, often counting the little worms during her visit.

Buying things for you was almost like a past time for Uraraka. Seeing your happy face when she brought you the silly little trinkets from her outings was a nice addition to the end of the day. And when she saw the little snail-slash-fuzzy worm thing in the shop window, she knew she had to get the ugly thing for you. It was so ugly it was cute. And you thought the same, hoisting it up like a newborn baby, laughing at its ugly little face. "Oh, it'll go perfect in my corner net! Right next to the hideous bear and crow!" Ochaco was right behind you as you hurried to put it with your other ugly/cute toys in the corner of your room.

Deku would be so excited to receive a plushie of himself! He would probably give you a big hug and thank you profusely for thinking of him. He would probably keep it on his desk or shelf as a reminder of your thoughtfulness.

"What the fuck is this?" Bakugo snatches the plushie out of your hand, examining it with a disgusted look on his face. "A fucking plushie of myself? Why the hell would I want this?" "I-I'm sorry, I thought you might like it," you stammer, feeling embarrassed. "I-I'll take it back, if you don't want it." "No, you fucking won't," Bakugo growls, clutching the plushie to his chest. "This is mine now. Get the fuck away from me, you idiot."

"Thank you for the plushie, it's very thoughtful of you." Todoroki says in a monotone voice, but you can see the corners of his mouth turn up ever so slightly in a small smile. He seems genuinely pleased with the gift, even though he doesn't show it outwardly.
