Propaganda
James Shigeta (Flower Drum Song)—sexy in that '60s ratpack kind of way, I literally gasped when he came onscreen in Flower Drum Song for the first time
Ronald Reagan (The Bad Man)—i just want to see him get dunked on repeatedly
This is round 1 of the bracket. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. Please reblog with further support of your beloved hot sexy vintage man.

Today marks MGM's 100th anniversary! We still think they should've picked the bear over the lion, though.

Disney Parks Animatronic Tournament: Bracket B/Tier 2 Round 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Statler and Waldorf: Muppet*Vision 3D - Hollywood Studios Disney World, Disney California Adventure (formerly)
Propaganda:
"Waldorf: “Do we have time to go to the bathroom before the next show?” Statler: “We can’t, you old fool. We’re bolted to the seats!” These animatronics are the next best thing to having the real puppets sitting there in the balcony doing what they do best--heckling the Muppets."

Gene Kelly: The Great Movie Ride - Hollywood Studios Disney World (formerly)
(the auto ‘start at specific point’ is acting weird, so go to 49:31 for animatronic )

Saltburn (dir. Emerald Fennell).
Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi star provocatively as Oxford freshmen in a satirical riff on The Talented Mr. Ripley's exploration of British class warfare by way of Brideshead Revisited. It's ultimately a hollow pastiche of a psychosexual thriller without much of any substance. Fennell toys with a seductive queer obsession but quickly trades in the intrigue for cheap thrills in a boring dive into the excess of obscene privilege. Despite some delicious performances from Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, and Alison Oliver as an insidiously rich family with a palatial estate, the glossy nature of the film's high-class production cannot hide its superficially insubstantial gothic interpretation of eating the rich. It's only so much fun watching stylishly bad people behaving poorly all the time.

Sharon Tate photographed by Orlando Suero on the MGM Studios backlot in 1966
Sharon kept careful control of her image and did her own makeup often. notice that her lower lashes are drawn on  & sometimes glued individual hairs in place according to her sister Debra Tate who became a studio makeup artist herself
