Small break to establish some ideas of what the Ghosts of Twisted!Ramshackle look like. Few actually materialize, preferring to follow Yuu in silence or possessing objects on occasion. It’s not until Ghost Marriage (Not sure if you’ve done Ghost Marriage so I’m not going to expand on that) or Yuu’s caught them in one of the few mirrors that haven’t been shattered in Ramshackle. It’s canon that the ghosts are dead people, so no Casper the friendly ghost “It’s a separate species and not the undead.” Their reflections are disturbing to say the least, shrunken eyes sit in hallowed sockets, their skin either stretched thinly or draped loosely over twisted flesh and bone. They’re all different species, so you could see a land-drowned mermonster to a beheaded beast man still in his Magift uniform. A lot are before the dorm was abandoned and long before Crowley was headmaster, a reminder that while things in a wonderland so twisted are fucked up, it was once way WORSE. - dorm anon

I do love the concept of the ghosts being actual corpses with a visible cause of death that adds to the horror of them, but still making them look like cute friendly ghost buddies who only show that in reflections. Maybe they're sort of cutesy-fied versions of their actual forms?

Ah and as for Sun, he originated from the Down Below, but he’s a Lot smaller than Mer from that part of the sea usually are. But given his sustained absence since meeting and coupling up with Moon, any progress he makes towards liking Monty could end up being undone, as the Down Below tends to really dig into one’s deeper traumas and insecurities if you aren’t careful.

Giving into your primal fears and traumas just makes the mental toll even greater. So imagine how much more mutated these two could become if their resolve were to… break.
