Photo by @the_positiveway8 All of your feelings are valid and it's important to feel them all, even the hard ones. This is something it has taken me so long to learn. I spent so many years bottling up my feelings. Believe me, once you've tried to cram them down for long enough they will explode out at some point anyway. Even if you hate to cry, for example, you still have to let it out sometimes if you're really sad. But it's also really important to learn how to feel your feelings and let them out in healthy ways, not by turning to substances or lashing out at someone. For me personally it really helps to talk things through with my therapist and have her help me identify my emotions. And honestly I have learned so many ways to let my feelings out by searching on Pinterest. Let me know if you want me to make a follow-up post sometime of different ways you can let feelings out. A while back, a good homey 🥰 gave some mushrooms to Ang and me so we could do some micro-dosing. 🍄 We forgot about them. 🤷 We remembered again and put aside Saturday to do them all and hopefully at least gain a moment of clarity. 😶🌫️ The shit was expired or something. 😐 Not one fucking bright light the whole day. 💡 Womp womp. So, we did what any semi-normal human would: We went to the bars, had surprisingly reasonable conversations with some conservatives 🧐 got lit up on doubles all night 😵💫 and then Ang lost her favorite hat and I found it in the street on Sunday. 🎩 So anyway, how was your weekend? 🤐 Post-up from Fort Collins, CO. ❤️ . . . . . #mentalhealthissues #mentalhealthhelp #overthinker #overthinkers #overthinkersclub #overthink #overthinking #overthinkersunite #overthinkerquotes #egoproof (at Fort Collins, Colorado) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmXFNXAPy7v/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Comparing ourselves with others We’ve all been there, haven’t we? Better salary, better marks, a better body and what not. 😥
It’s a natural human tendency rooted in our need for validation, social belonging, and self-evaluation.
But, here’s the truth: Each person’s journey is unique, shaped by different circumstances, strengths, and opportunities.
So what can we do to break free of this comparison trap❓
1. Practice Self-Awareness: Spot the moment when you catch yourself in the comparison game, and gently bring your focus back to your own beautiful path. Awareness is the first step to setting yourself free!
2. Shift Your Focus: Redirect your focus towards your own progress and growth.
3. Embrace Gratitude: Cultivate a gratitude practice to appreciate your own accomplishments and blessings.
4. Celebrate your uniqueness: Recognise and honor your own strengths, skills, and talents.
5. Practice Self-Compassion: Be gentle with your beautiful self, just as you would with a cherished friend.
6. Set Realistic Expectations: Success takes time and effort. Set goals that are realistic and tailored to your own magnificent journey.
7. Build Supportive Connections: Surround yourself with a positive and supportive network.
8. Don’t use Social media much: Remember to give yourself well-deserved breaks from the social media frenzy. Let’s not forget that social media often paints a distorted picture.

Art by @ashton.creates The main thing I want my jewelry to remind you is that you are never alone in your struggles, especially with chronic illness and mental health. Even if we don't share the same diagnoses I can promise you that someone somewhere has experienced the same thoughts and feelings you have, even the bad and scary ones. That always brings me comfort and I hope that it brings you comfort too. It means we are able to find community and support from people who truly get it, and I think that's one of the most important things to have when you're going through something really tough.
