The Power of Mindfulness: Finding Peace in the Present
In today's busy world, mindfulness offers a refuge from the chaos, providing a path to inner peace and clarity. By simply being present in the moment, without judgment or attachment, we can cultivate a sense of calm and resilience in the face of life's challenges.
Through mindfulness, we learn to observe our thoughts and emotions with curiosity and compassion, allowing us to respond to life's ups and downs with greater ease and understanding. By anchoring ourselves in the present moment, we can find solace from the worries of the past and the anxieties of the future.
Incorporating mindfulness into our daily lives doesn't have to be complicated. It can be as simple as taking a few deep breaths, pausing to notice the sensations around us, or fully engaging in the activities we are doing.
Tumblr media
As we cultivate mindfulness, we may find that we are better able to cope with stress, manage our emotions, and navigate the complexities of life with greater resilience and grace. The beauty of mindfulness lies in its simplicity – by embracing the present moment, we can find peace and contentment wherever we are.

Chilly mental health could go completely after this. I’m worried for him.
No I think he’s doing okay. He just needs some time. Don’t worry. Tbh it’s better for him to have a vacation and train in Dubai rather than sitting on the bench in Qatar. That’s better for his mental and physical health.
Yeah. I think the bench situation at the euros had an affect on him but like you said, if he’s getting treatment/training that probably won’t affect him too much

The Cost of Comfort: Evaluating Bed Bug Treatment Expenses in Qatar!
Tumblr media
In the sunny and hospitable land of Qatar, where the warmth of the desert meets the coolness of the modern world, an unwelcome guest often seeks refuge in our homes - bed bugs. These tiny, elusive pests can turn our comfort zones into zones of distress, making bed bug treatment in Qatar a subject of paramount importance. Today, we delve into the financial aspect of reclaiming the comfort of our homes from these pests, with a spotlight on the services offered by the Arsh Group, a leader in pest control in Qatar.
Understanding the Enemy: The Hidden Costs of Bed Bugs
Before tackling the expenses, it’s crucial to understand why bed bug removal in Qatar isn't just a matter of convenience but a necessity. These critters not only cause discomfort and sleepless nights but can also lead to allergic reactions and affect the mental health of the inhabitants. The longer an infestation is ignored, the more extensive—and expensive—the treatment becomes. Early detection and swift action are key to minimizing both the spread and the cost of eradication.
Evaluating Bed Bug Treatment Options in Qatar
When it comes to bed bug treatment in Qatar, the options range from DIY solutions to professional pest control services. While the internet is rife with home remedies and over-the-counter solutions, the effectiveness of these methods is often temporary and can lead to recurrent infestations. In contrast, professional services, though seemingly more expensive upfront, offer long-term solutions that tackle the root of the problem.
DIY Treatments: A Penny Wise but a Pound Foolish?
The initial costs of DIY treatments might seem appealing; however, the hidden costs quickly add up. From repeated purchases of ineffective products to the potential damage to furniture and textiles, the total expense can surpass that of professional treatments. Moreover, without the expertise to target bed bugs at all life stages, these efforts can prove futile, prolonging the infestation and discomfort.
Professional Bed Bug Removal in Qatar: A Worthwhile Investment
This is where professional pest control services in Qatar, like those offered by the Arsh Group, come into play. Specializing in bed bug removal, the Arsh Group uses advanced techniques and eco-friendly pesticides that are safe for humans and pets but lethal for bed bugs. The company conducts thorough inspections to determine the extent of the infestation, followed by a customized treatment plan that ensures complete eradication.
The Arsh Group Advantage
Choosing the Arsh Group for bed bug treatment in Qatar means investing in peace of mind. With a team of trained professionals, the latest in pest control technology, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, the Arsh Group stands out as a premier provider. Their services not only remove existing infestations but also offer advice and solutions to prevent future problems, making their offering a comprehensive solution for bed bug woes.
The Final Tally: Cost vs. Comfort
When evaluating the costs associated with bed bug treatment in Qatar, it's essential to consider the value of comfort and well-being. While DIY methods might seem economical, their lack of effectiveness and potential for recurrent infestations translate into higher costs over time. On the other hand, investing in professional pest control services, such as those offered by the Arsh Group, ensures a bed bug-free home, allowing residents to enjoy the comfort and peace of mind they deserve.
In conclusion, while the upfront costs of professional bed bug removal services in Qatar might be higher than DIY treatments, the long-term savings, effectiveness, and assurance they offer make them a wise investment. By choosing a reputable company like the Arsh Group, you're not just paying for bed bug eradication; you're investing in your home's comfort, health, and well-being.

The Hidden Realities of the "Sexy Call Girl" Industry in Doha
Doha, the bustling capital of Qatar, is renowned for its opulent lifestyle, modern infrastructure, and cultural diversity. Unfortunately, hidden behind the façade of glamour and luxury exists an underground industry that attracts attention with keywords like "Hot Sexy Call Girls" in Doha. This article aims to dissect the truth behind these provocative claims and delve into the reality faced by individuals involved in the "High Class Escorts in Doha" industry.
Misleading Perceptions:
The idea of the "Hot Sexy Call Girls" in Doha often conjures up images of glamorous and seductive individuals. However, it is important to realize that these perceptions are often misleading and perpetuated by stereotypes and media. It is vital to separate reality from fiction and explore the diverse stories and backgrounds of the women involved.
Empowerment or Exploitation:
While it is crucial to acknowledge that some individuals may actively choose sex work as a means of empowerment and financial independence, there are also instances where involvement in the "High Class Escorts in Doha" industry stems from exploitation and limited choices. Understanding the nuances and complexities of each person's situation is essential to provide the necessary support and resources for their well-being.
Socioeconomic Factors:
Socioeconomic factors often play a significant role in individuals turning to the "High Class Escorts in Doha" industry. Limited educational opportunities, unemployment, or the need to support their families can push individuals into sex work as a means of survival. Recognizing and addressing these underlying issues can offer alternative avenues for livelihood and reduce reliance on the sex industry.
Health and Safety:
The health and safety of those involved in the "High Class Escorts in Doha" industry are paramount concerns. Unregulated environments and the absence of legal frameworks may increase their vulnerability to violence, abuse, and health risks. Societal Stigma and Discrimination:
Societal stigma and discrimination continue to plague individuals involved in the "High Class Escorts in Doha" industry. Lydia lost 75 pounds
New Post has been published on https://eazydiet.net/lydia-lost-75-pounds/
Lydia lost 75 pounds
Transformation of the Day: Lydia lost 75 pounds by changing her lifestyle and embracing healthy habits. While traveling overseas to teach, she learned to create more of a work/life balance. She also discovered the mix of nutrition and outdoor fitness that works for her.
Social Media: Instagram and Threads: @live_love_lydia TikTok: @72sunflower
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?  My reason was solidified once I left the US to teach overseas in 2017. It is something crazy when you are traveling in other countries and see that you are usually the biggest one in the crowd. I started looking at people from different cultures and the work/life balance they created for themselves when I moved to Qatar in 2019.
My school is huge on well-being. I was like, “How can you teach this to kids if you aren’t practicing it yourself?” What keeps me going is that my primary focus is improving my overall quality of life, not weight loss. So in everything I do, I’m focused on how this will improve my quality of life (mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually).
How did you change your eating habits?  In January 2021, I had Covid. While in quarantine, I started listening to audiobooks. I went down a nutrition rabbit hole, and it finally all made sense. I stopped eating out a lot when I left Kuwait (2017-2019) and started cooking my meals. I don’t believe in eliminating items unless there is a medical reason.
I started focusing on whole foods. I don’t care for meat like that, so if I have something, it’s seafood (maybe chicken here or there). I did cut out dairy due to inflammation in my body.
I was in chronic pain due to an injury to my left foot during the fall of 2018. I started physiotherapy in 2020, and medication I didn’t want to take forever for inflammation. I noticed an immediate improvement when I stopped dairy and was able to stop taking the anti-inflammatory meds. (2022 was physiotherapy and shockwave therapy from the end of January until I finally had surgery on 12.19.2022 …9 days after my 50th birthday)
What is your workout routine?  I’m not a fan of gyms. Qatar is all about physical activity. Sports Day is a national holiday. They encourage everyone to be active. So I bought a bike. I cycle, do stairs at the amphitheater, walk, and now jog (since fully recovering from surgery. I also jump rope. In June, I started doing Muay Thai training (martial arts), which includes HIIT circuit training during the last half of the class.
How often did you work out?  I’m an everyday person as I believe in being active. However, my intensity is never the same day after day. Active rest days are brisk walks or easy bike rides just to be and unwind from my work day.
What is your height? 5’3″ and a strong half
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take? In 2010, I reached my highest weight: 304 pounds. In August 2019, when arriving in Qatar to teach, I weighed 270 pounds. This is when I started truly focusing on myself and my health. It was slow due to physical challenges. Then, throw in Covid. So, from August 2019 to July 2023- I’ve released 70–75 pounds.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey? No surgery here other than the one that was on my foot that gave me a new lease on life.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far? In all things regarding your health and well-being, be intentional. This lifestyle does not happen by accident.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
1) Learn to set aside time for you daily for your physical/mental well-being. Start with 30 uninterrupted minutes. We give so much of ourselves to our families, jobs, cats, and dogs …but we seem to go last. Stop that! It doesn’t mean going hard for 30 mins. It may be a 15 min walk and 15 mins meditation.
2) be intentional about what you need to do. Work on discipline. Motivation is a fleeting emotion. Discipline gets it done. If we are disciplined enough to show up for work when we don’t feel like it, we can be disciplined enough to show up for ourselves.
3) Take time to find food and activities that you enjoy. There are no quick fixes. Think sustainability. You aren’t going to continue anything you do not enjoy.

Home again. 5th March 2022
We arrived home on Friday after a trouble-free journey via Qatar.  Covid adds to the hurdles to be cleared and bits of paper to be carried: “PCR result must be shown in hard copy”. It was a bit special then to arrive in Manchester soon after 6 as only the second plane of the day, the whole place gleaming and serene as we smoothed our way through immigration then collected both cases, hurrah.
The other couple from JF, Linda and Stewart have had the complication that Stewart was positive on his PCR test despite feeling well.  He has to self-isolate in Entebbe for five days and see if his PCR is then negative to allow him to fly home.
We enjoyed our break in a pleasant hotel in Jinja on the banks of the Nile.  We needed the time to catch up and we read, swam, exercised and walked.  The hotel wasn’t busy.  Unfortunately, I picked up a stomach bug there – possibly because the hotel was less busy and food put out for a buffet was then not well enough stored/cooked before reuse.
Tumblr media
A walk down the “side walk”
This in some ways feels as though it reflects how Uganda felt to us.  It felt a bit depressed and impoverished due mainly to Covid.  Schools being closed for 2 years has had various ramifications – increase in teenage pregnancies, fewer children able to return to school, more domestic violence, increase in burglary in some of the towns we visited, more begging on the street in Kampala, fewer tourists with the income and jobs they create.  We spoke to one lady, Joyce, sitting by the roadside near the hotel. She said she can make any handicrafts we wanted – beads from paper, baskets etc.  She used to make them but her markets had disappeared because almost no tourists come now.
In one hotel we stayed in, they had had to close for several months.  Fortunately for Carol, the head receptionist, the owner also has a furniture factory and she was able to go and work there, though all she could do was hand sand wood. Not the kind of work she was used, to but she was grateful for it.  A trained accountant we know was recently suddenly forcibly evicted from his accommodation due to his being behind with the rent.
Some of the hospitals we visited expressed frustration that they have raised the profile of mental illness and the locals have responded, bringing their relatives – but then they ask for fees to be waived as they can’t afford to pay for the treatment.
Other hospitals are being more creative, by finding some funding for those who really can’t afford medicine., I am thinking that although Jamie’s Fund can’t afford to fund medicines directly, we need to be looking at ways to be a channel for funding if others are willing to help.
The last two days we spent in Kampala.  We had set up some meetings and most of them didn’t go to plan.  We pitched up for a 2 pm meeting to be told no, he wasn’t around today.  That was reorganised to 8 am the next day.  Mo’s 9 am meeting was cancelled at 7 am, so she came with me to meet Dr Ronald at the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau.  We had a very good meeting with him.  He is well organised (mostly!) and as we went over various issues his level of grip on the whole organisation was reassuring.  We will see how things evolve.
Tumblr media
With Lamet, who is leading the development of mental health serivice here.
Mukono hospital asked us to drop by as they would like to make a presentation to Jamie’s Fund.  It was from the chairman of the hospital board thanking JF for their support. Similarly we had received a presentation from Lubaga Hospital. We think it’s almost symbolic of these two high performing hospitals, where there is excellent leadership as well as very enthusiastic professionals in the team that they should think of giving us a gift.
We are very glad of hospitals like this where there is a real drive to reach people with mental illness and epilepsy, and to make a difference. We love to meet the committed leaders and the young professionals who clearly care so much for their patients. They are a great joy.

Anxiety Hypnosis: Does It Work?
What is Anxiety Hypnosis?
According to the NHS website, Generalised Anxiety Disorder or (GAD) is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe. According to the NHS website, Generalised Anxiety Disorder or (GAD) is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe.
Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life – for example, you may feel worried and anxious about sitting an exam, or having a medical test or job interview. During times like these, feeling anxious can be perfectly normal. However, some people find it hard to control their worries. Their feelings of anxiety are more constant and can often affect their daily lives.
Anxiety is the main symptom of several conditions, including:
1: panic disorder
2: phobias – such as agoraphobia or claustrophobia
3: post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
4: social anxiety disorder (social phobia)
In short, Anxiety is often at the root of the disorders most of my patients come to see me to address.
GAD is a common condition, estimated to affect up to 5% of the UK population. Slightly more women are affected than men, and the condition is more common in people from the ages of 35 to 59.
Some Facts about Anxiety in the UK
In 2016, 81.1% of the population was aged 16 and over (65,648,054) that means that some 3,282,403 people in the UK suffered with anxiety. That’s more than the population of some countries (Uruguay, Armenia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Qatar).
Notice the age of sufferers? Anxiety seems to affect us more as life tends to get more serious. The average age of a home buyer in London is 32 and the average age of new parents is 28.6 years (women) and 33.2 years for men. So there could be a direct correlation to additional life stresses, noting that the highest rates of divorce also take place between 30 and 60 years old.
This also shows that anxiety is quite normal. If anxiety is a direct reaction mentally in the body to stress, it happens frequently and readily.
Hypnotherapy for Anxiety
Anxiety hypnosis treatments are widely accepted and recognisable, as a genuine form of treatment. Hypnotherapy can help a person suffering from anxiety by subliminal messaging to promote confidence and belief in oneself. It also helps anxiety sufferers reduce stress, feelings of fear and intense worry by subconscious persuasion bringing calming thoughts reinforced with the use of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Anxiety hypnosis therapy focuses on unlocking the subconscious aspects of your mind using the power of suggestion to instil positive change. Like any form of treatment, it can be a short permanent treatment or sometimes you may need to go back for further sessions. This all depends on the individual.
During the anxiety hypnosis therapy, your hypnotherapist if NLP trained will use positive reinforcement to help change your train of thought, but based on careful consultation prior, to establish the causes of the underlying issues.
Is anxiety hypnosis therapy an alternative to medicine?
Like any form of treatment, there will be varying degrees of success. As more people look for holistic, non-medicated forms of treatment, hypnosis and its value, is becoming far widely adopted. It is even listed as an alternative treatment on the NHS website.
But hypnotherapists are not doctors, we are not medically qualified to discuss anything other than what we understand. Many of us are learned in the study of mental health, have coaching qualifications, NLP qualifications and are strong in experience in dealing with such issues.
If you suffer from anxiety or any of its other forms it presents itself as, feel free to talk to

Bloom: New Art Collection Release by Beth P. Leigh
Overview
When discussing societal impact and change, we must look at those within our community that are most marginalized and begin demanding their voices be present and heard on all fronts. When reviewing the Arts community, historically, and present day, we find the voice of Black Women are often left as footnotes or afterthoughts. Bloom seeks to disrupt this notion by providing the following:
A visual representation of a Black Woman healing
Artist Talk for the community, discussing healing and art as a meditative practice
Making resources for mental health/healing available for patrons
Story
In 2019, Beth made a promise to journal with great intention throughout 2020. Little did she know, 2020 would be a year of great isolation and reflection for the world. Isolation afforded her the opportunity to become more serious about the meditative practice of journaling. In reviewing her 2020 journal, she realized, 2020 was a year of great growth. She had “Bloomed.” She decided to take pages from her journal and create paintings that brought those words and emotions to life; the Bloom Exhibit was born.
