30-DAY LOTRO CHALLENGE
Day 27: Which epic would you skip every time?
I’ve genuinely enjoyed the epics thus far - I’ve not completed Vol III yet. If anything, I think some parts of Vol II are a little slow and tedious. I try not to skip anything though, apart from regions I don’t have, and well, Shire quests. I just can’t. So many pie deliveries.
Day 28: Big Battles: Yay or Nay?
I’m gonna have to go with Nay on this one. I’ve never really played the game for the fighting or action parts - I’m here for the storyline and to enjoy Tolkien’s world. Plus, I still don’t understand how to even do Big Battles or most skirmishes. Big Battles seem boring and not all that fun to me.
Day 29: How many characters do you have, total?
I have four toons, all on the Landroval server. My main is Namadith the ladydwarf. Maironendil is my Sauron RP toon who runs around mainly with @samwise-po-tay-toe-gamgee ‘s Melkordel. Lafmuna is my underplayed mini who’s been in the Lone Lands for about a year because I can only take so much of that place. And Vrethon (above) is another low-key RP toon where I can practice my Swedish meant to be the fictional onstage persona of Mathias “Vreth” Lillmåns, the singer of one of my favorite bands, where he is a fearsome and vengeful Troll-king.

Me: How can I show my LOTRO friends that I love them and enjoy their company?
Also Me: Ah yes, silly fanfiction. My specialty.
Based on, this.

“What’s next then?”
Halordin glanced down at his notes, scratching Verya’s ears as he read over the next bullet point.
“It appears …”
“Ahem,” said Maironendil as he uncrossed his legs and dramatically rose out of his chair. “Melkordel and I have an announcement.”
“This outta be good,” mumbled a voice in the back.
Maironendil jerked his head towards the source of the sound but whichever kin member had spoken remained mute.
“As I saying, Melkordel and I have quite the announcement.”
As Melkordel rose beside him the room suddenly seemed to darken. The small flicker of the candles passed away, the glow of enchanted weapons seemed to dim, and even the eternal glow of the elves seemed to waver.
“This will come as a shock to you,” Maironendil hissed, his clothes melting under licks of fire to reveal dark, black armor. “But we are not whom we say we are. We are truly the Dark Lords Mor –“
“Morgoth and Sauron.”
“Sauron.”
“Morgoth.”
The dramatic transformation of the two Ainur suddenly ground to a halt, the small dragon climbing to the top of Melkor’s head opening its mouth in a ‘O’ shape.
“We know.” said Olkili.
“I knew when you guys sat me on fire with a snap of your fingers,” Mallovorel said, applying a salve to her still aching skin.
Badari leaned back in her chair, bringing her pipe up to her mouth.
“I knew from, “Hi, we’re Maironendil and Melkordel.”
Out of the whole group, only Halordin wore a look of surprise.
The two Ainur stared at the group for a moment before exchanging a glance.
“It makes little difference,” Mairon declared. “I’m still binding everyone’s souls to mine.”

Bonds
Relationship list for my main lotro oc Halordin toot toot
@pazithigallifreya, @asgardian--angels, @samwise-po-tay-toe-gamgee, @whereisbarton, @yuutaruo @mallovorelstargazer @captainisthil your characters are mentioned in here as well js
~Blood~
Losdirith: Father. Didn’t get to know him much before he perished. Deceased.
Gaelwen: Mother. Complicated relationship and feelings for. Loves her unconditionally, and acknowledges she took care of him throughout his younger years, but she was obsessed with keeping him safe. Often felt stifled and frustrated when around her. Their bond has healed somewhat after some time, and he still goes straight to them on his visitations, but he never stays long. Sends her letters reassuring her he’s doing alright occasionally too.
Haldor: Elder Brother, didn’t get to know him much before he perished alongside his father. Deceased.
Lossenduin: Elder sister, twin to Losseneth Loves. Remembers play wrestling with her often when he was younger. Often wanted to go with her on march warden duties. (mainly for the traveling)
Losseneth: Elder sister, twin to Lessenduin Loves. Remembers cuddling up with her when he was an elfling in a hammock to read books with her. And relaxing in the circles of meditation with her, talking about life and history.
Heledirien: Elder sister, whom lived in Mirkwood for much of Halordin’s early years. Therefore was very distant from, but had heard about her a lot none the less. The natural bond between kin gave him a desire to see her more. During the War of the Ring, he got his wish. Still getting to know, but think’s she’s humorous and warm. Albeit a bit strange, but he can relate.
Crucial:
Verya: During his wanderings in the White Mountains, found an orphan mountain lynx cub nearly frozen, after she stumbled out from her den. Took in the poor scrap, and nursed her back to to health as he stayed in a cave down in the foothills of the Eastfold. After she was healed, raised her as he went about his travels. Was convinced she would go on her own way sometime, but she always returned to his side from her own brief wanderings. They’ve been an inseparable pair. Verya has saved his hide more times than he can count, and vice versa. Those who have harmed her have paid dearly for their folly.
Rinion: Another orphaned lynx cub he rescued from animal traders he’s taken in. Adores the little white feline, and is touched that Verya has seemed to consider him her own son.
Valadhiel: A Rohirric war horse Halordin acquired on his travels throughout Rohan during the War of the Ring. Like Verya, the mare has saved him numerous times from enemies. Loves and trusts.
Badari: Lover, Best Friend. Admires her strength and spirit. Feels safe with. Used to bear the same prejudices his people held for the dwarves, until he met the dwarrowdam during a campaign against the forces of Dol Guldor. Let her trail along with his company for a brief time, and healed her wounds after a skirmish with a band of uruks, in which she also saved his life. They parted ways soon after, but he never forgot her. Reunited with Badari after a time, surprised to find her again, but glad none the less. Was assimilated into her kinship. Grew closer to her, began developing emotions he never thought he could feel for anyone anymore, never mind a dwarf. Relieved that he found out she reciprocated his feelings after awhile. The first year of their relationship was mostly flirting and stolen kisses (or smooching in front of everyone else). Is now bonder with her and feels as if his love for Badari has grown deeper. Adores, Thinks her quite beautiful. Protects at all costs, despite the fact she can very well defend herself. Will always return to her.
Mallovorel: Like a sister to him. Loves. Met her when he visited Thranduils Halls one time. See’s in her a bit of himself, including his reckless streak. Enjoys nights spent talking with her under the stars, reminiscing about matters both deep and insignificant.
Rubeniel: Another Wood elf, and another cherished friend. Though considers Rubeniel a sister now days too. Wants to protect and look out for, despite seeing the deadly accuracy of her arrows. Admires her energy and the vivacious spirit that seems to surround her, and is drawn to it.
Naurithil & Duinfas: Two skilled and courageous elves he’s met and come to know dearly over the past months. Associates them with each other. Often goes on adventures with them. Feels entirely safe when around Duin and Naur, and cherishes time spent together. Has come to think of them as mother figures. Loves.
Melkordel & Maironendil: Two elves whom are peculiar as they are beautiful. Nether less he admires their strength and cunning in the face of danger. Relies on them to watch his back, and he will return the favor. When the danger subsides, and merriment is in the air, often engages in drunken parties and general silliness with them.
Olkili: Another dwarrowdam he’s come to admire. Basks in her silent strength and wisdom.
Gimris: Enjoys being around the dwarrowdam, and her willingness to party with the kin. Trusts her completely and enjoys fighting alongside with.
isthil: A man he perceives as noble and unfaltering in the face of danger. Would gladly pledge his own sword to him. Admires.
Owleth: Another good friend, enjoys making mischief with. Cares for.
Ilmarian: has taken the elf lore-master under his wing, wants to help her in her studies. Charge,
Ocoee: A hobbit burglar. Wants to protect, but she’d probably slap him. Charge.
Maedoron: A good friend of his childhood that has survived to his eternal adult years, despite his friens flaws. Said elf is overbearing and over protective at times, but Halordin trusts him with his life. Cares for.
Radagast: The wizard who saved his life from a maddened huorn. Learned much of the natural world from. Mentor, friend. Visits him occasionally. When he can find him.
Known:
Pelind: A warrior elf he’s occasionally fought alongside with. Trusts and enjoys their company.
Sabelyene & Gardiel: A woman and ellon couple he often bumps into. Friendly with, and relishes their peaceful company. Would like to get to know better.
Lakhadhi & Kumathel: Badari’s siblings. Sometimes confuses Lakhadhi with Badari. Was uncomfortable around them at first when his relationship with their sister started growing more intimate, but they seem to have accepted it, though he suspects they think he’s strange. Nether less he fights alongside them willingly and tries his hardest to protect them.
Vrethon: A being he doesn’t know very well, but he senses a wildness in him that intrigues Halordin. Seems to be closely tied to trolls and the deep woods. Slightly unnerved by, but extremely curious about, and would like to get to know more.
Broken:
Rinarwen: Was close friends with once, until he became responsible for the death of her son. Mourns for their severed relationship to this day.  Doesn’t dare to hope that she can forgive him one day. Avoids at all costs, as her hatred towards Halordin has made her become dangerous to be around.
Raenfer: Rinarwen’s son and Former Godson. His demise was the result of a severe lack of judgement on Halordin’s part. Was consumed with a wild grief and regret over what happened to him for years until began to accept what happened. Though a part of him, deep down, mourns for him still. Is prone to self harm on those few days he remembers in an effort to banish the regret. Visits his gravesite to leave gifts on the few times he can bear to visit it. The only way he’ll feel total peace is if one day his mother can forgive him. Guards this secret closely, will not even tell to his closest ones, perhaps one day in the future, perhaps.,...
