Contacting photographers

The photographers I decided to contact were Stella Morris, Megan KellyThorn, David Uzochukwu, Robert Binder and Jay Mawson. I think a couple of these photographers may be a little high up and I do not expect to reply but I thought I’d try anyway.

EMAIL LAYOUT: 

In my email to the photographers, I started with a simple hello, and introduced myself by saying what and where I was studying, I mentioned my project briefly and that I was messaging photographers who I’d be inspired by. With each photographer I messaged, I left a comment about their work - this was to make it look more personal and to show I had paid specific attention to some images which would flatter them. I then followed by asking if they were interested in an email interview with a few examples of the types of questions I would ask, I then ended the email by saying I looked forward to hearing from them. I Aldo put my contact details at the end, followed by an attachment of the branded email layout I had - this was to make it look a tad more professional which I thought would make it more likely for them to reply to. The above attachment is an example email I sent to one of the photographers
