Happy new years!

Figured I would take some measurements and weigh in photos for the first post of the year. Didn't end up hitting 150kg but there's plenty of time to eat in 2024 :)

(I am not a seamstress and these measurements are my best attempt 😅)

Belly: 58" standing up, and maybe 60" sitting down which is when the tape measure was about to run out and this was very hot...

Thighs: 34-35" standing up, 36-37" sitting down.

Chest: 51"

Arms: 20-21"

Hope everyone had a good weekend and I hope you are ready to watch this space, because I'm fat. Or lack of space depending on the context.

Yards - Inferior to metres because every time I buy fabric by the yard I am cheated out of 8.6 cm of fabric. If I buy 11 yards of fabric that's nearly an entire metre I'm missing out on. Thievery!!

Feet - Useful for large-ish measurements, like rooms and big furniture, even though I don't have a solid picture in my mind of exactly how long a foot is.

Inches - Very useful for certain applications! The perfect size to use for grids for scaling patterns up. Though for most other cases, centimetres would do just as well.

1/2" - Tolerable. But really not necessary.

1/4" - You're on thin fuckin ice now buddy.

1/8" - Do not speak to me about measurements at all ever.

1/16" - Jail for one thousand years.

(saw a piece of lace listed as 11/16" and it made me mad)
