no but listen i am constantly thinking about the mcu and other franchises like star wars and dc have tried to replicated their cinematic universe and i think the problem is that these big budget movies aren't willing to commit to the concept of a stand alone film. the entire reason avengers (2012) actually works is because all of the movies beforehand were complete stand alone action flicks that tied into the same universe only by a few end credit scenes and the fact that SHIELD was at least mentioned in each movie. when you go over to the DCEU they're trying so hard to get to the justice league and they haven't even made a batman movie yet!!!

i also think this is why the mcu started sucking after age of ultron because they stopped making stand alone movies and instead made a cinematic experience where you had to go to antman: 17 revenge of the cockroaches just so you could see an ensemble movie where deadpool crosses the multiverse to find spiderman's girlfriend for an ocean's 11 team up with moon knight

fine, I'll say it

you literally hate women, gay and poc too much to admit that phase 5 of mcu is better than phase 1 (and don't even get me started on phase 4)

and also I could say that about phase 2 as well and it would be real, considering how much you were hating on aou, antman and dark world, not mention that im3 is the least memorable of his trilogy (personally I like phase 2 more for now, but we still didn't see all projects) and suddenly you speak about marvel being great until phase 4, like please, no, it wasn't, you're just talking about like half of infinity saga

phil coulson is so alive you don’t even notice him haunting the narrative. he’s so Just Some Guy and he’s just right there garnering respect and attention from Jasper Sitwell and Maria Hill and Nick Fury, just BURNING screen time with them and with Loki and with Iron Man - all these characters that have been around for ages, that belong to the narrative, that the narrative knows - and his fate is already sealed but it’s just like 😃 wow! what a fun new spy character!

Hiiii, could you maybe do some headcanons about the team's reaction when they first found out about Loki and the reader having a relationship? I looked for something like this on your masterlist but I didn't find it, i'm a little inattentive (dumb) sometimes so sorry if you've already done it,

FYI I don’t tag everything I write into my master list 😅 I’ve genuinely lost count since I frequently write for the mcu

The avengers finding out about you and Loki’s relationship

You two kept it on the low for a bit, Loki kept shifting into different people just so he can go out with you without getting you both harassed

It took around three months of everyone thinking you’re seeing different people all at the same time

Then when you two thought it would be the best time to come clean you picked to just act like it’s always been like this

You would be surprised how many of them had bets on who you’re actually dating

"You bet money on my love life?!"

Natasha won of course because she just has a hunch for this stuff

Tony tries to pretend he saw it coming but later takes you to the side and has a talk about if you’re 100% sure and that no one is judging you but he’s making sure you’re ok

Bruce was a tad awkward but actually super supportive, he just wishes you the best and jokes a bit about how if Loki broke your heart halk would smash him again

Wanda asked a lot and I mean a lot of questions before you could even sit down

Thor took Loki to the side to have in what you can make to be a serious talk

"Aww he cares" "stop it! It’s embarrassing!"

But there is an awkward phase where you two would cuddle or just do something couple like and everyone would sorta stare

It wasn’t a judgment stare but more a curios one

Clint is the one that stares shamelessly though, he also annoys you two by walking in a room and playing the big brother role

"Don’t do something I wouldn’t do and be safe-"

"Clint shut up!" "I’m just trying to help!"

Peter surprisingly knew before anyone else

"Well mr loki always wears {name} shirt and he smells like them so it made sense"
