At all the people talking about how they're speedrunning Percabeth:

They really aren't??

Like, they made them be friends a bit faster, sure, but by the second book they're already pretty close friends and we're already on episode 5 of an 8 episode show.

None of their scenes have been inherently romantic, they've only served to show us the development of their friendship.

It's just weird to me that people are seeing two 12 year olds, both of whom are starved for affection and have barely ever had friends, forming a close friendship and immediately call it romantic. It is probably to do with the fact that book readers KNOW that Percabeth happens, but just because it happens eventually doesn't mean every scene they have of them being close is romantic.

the way house md shows people going thru shit like loss of a loved one, grief, betrayal, cheating etc and doesn't say "this one is right" or "this one is wrong" is so important to me. they're just exploring humans. they're exploring humanity with it's ugliness and beauty and it's leaving it upto the viewer to decide what to feel about situations and that's just endearing, in a way. the show is just Human : ' )

one of the things that i dont really get from pokemon sv but could (i guess) be explained in Half Only by changing Naranja/Uva academy directors from the old one to Clavell is the fact that Arven had a dying Pokemon in his hands for quite some time and no adult even commented of it.

a child that went to the most protected and dangerous areas in the whole Paldea, almost died, came back with a Pokemon that was in the verge of dying, bought every fucking potion in the continent, went to every Pokemon Center to check if he could be saved, tried every method even stealing books from the academy (unsure of this one but i remember he tried many ways and im sure that looking and sniffing at the library shouldve called the attention of anyone) until he remembered he had Turo's book back at home. a stubborn kid who had become even worse in every way enough for him to ditch classes for what could be years (judging that took him one year since his last visit to Area Zero i believe?).

where were the adults? no i am not really talking bout the school, the Stars were being a hassle and Clavell had to be laying down new codes for both students and professors to be behind "smaller cases" but. Where was The League? The Pokecenters? The stores? Shouldn't they be on cahoots with the Academy too? I am sure at least one of them should've known about Mabosstiff. Nemona also should've known at least something.

I don't know. There's a Lot that can be hidden under the shine of a parent that is famous enough to not let you exist, but i still find it strange that no one really noticed.

idk i wish there were more Rumours. entering houses and talking with people who could tell you stuff. About a kid and her five friends who protected her. About a trainer with eyes nowhere else but in battles, about a boy who cried for a pokemon with a strange disease.

reminder that we had this scene right from the get go (ep1) where they 'talk' to each other, and on the whole it just feels like a rather intimate moment, platonically or otherwise

and I think it's scenes like this that really gave the show more emotional depth- it shows how much LG cares for CXS, and shows just how much empathy(?) CXS has for others- that's missing from s2

I'm glad that in s2e1 we get to see how broken CXS was by the thought of LG being gone, but I'm also dissatisfied that they didn't really get to talk it out. The writers could've used them "discussing hongyan" as a premise/basis for them to talk (at least let my boy cxs sort out his feelings first please??) before diving right into the action...

Honestly, I feel like Hazbin hotels fast pacing is so... hazbin? It shows me how little Charlie has before the exterminators come down, and how she's very stressed. It fits the vibe and seems like it was on purpose, to make people understand just how Charlie feels.

I know a lot of people have wildly varying interpretations on how old the characters in Diaries are (which I totally respect) but my interpretation of specifically Aaron and Zane makes me chuckle because during the events of season 1 I have Aaron in his early-mid forties and Zane at like. 25. With the whole Falcon Claw oopsie thing between them I just it’s really funny to imagine a 40 year old man having incredibly personal beef with a college sophomore.
