A thought, Aventurine thinking that he's the dom in the relationship and then reader pulls out uno reverse, kabedoning him against a wall with their leg
"Get dommed lmfao" - [Y/n]
LMAO okay this is funny
I'm sorry this post is a but shorter than my other ones, I've been super busy for the past few days and didn't have much time to write 😭
Aventurine trying (and failing) to be a dom
characters - Aventurine
notes - gn!reader, sub!Aven, nsfw-y
I really can't picture Aven as a hard dom but I think that in some scenarios he would feel more comfortable if he considers himself to be the one in control.
Like if you two just started dating and maybe you didn't know each other for a long period of time before that.
Or if you had some sort of rivalry before you became a couple.
He'll try to show you that you're his, constantly reminding you this by... clinging to you and whining if he doesn't get enough of your attention.
And, well, by throwing some flirty and smug remarks here in there. In a way, it's another way to keep his mask on.
He would, however, be able to be a proper dom in the bed. Ordering you around, teasing your body, enjoying your ruined look, knowing that you're his his his. Even if sometimes he wants to be the one ruined by you.
He reeeeeally doesn't want to admit to himself how much he actually wants it.
However. However. The key prase here is "would be able to be a proper dom"
Is it possible? Yeah. Would this ever happen? No lol.
The moment he tries to pull something like this he finds himself pressed to a wall with you blocking his way with your leg.
"Don't tell me you thought you were in charge, pretty boy" you say with a chuckle and he goes weak in his knees.
Tries to say something cheeky in return but he was never good at hiding something from you. You can literally see him being a mess.
It would probably be easier fir him if you would use your hand to block his way. He'd tease you and call you bossy, pulling you for a kiss. But with your leg??? It catches him off guard so much that, to his own embarrassment, he can't even find a comeback.
And the way he looks???
Slightly flushed cheeks, irregular breath, him suddenly clinging to you without even realizing it. Absolutely beautiful.
It's still not easy for him to be in a vulnerable position like that but he just can't help, the temptation of feeling yours yours yours is just too overwhelming.
Would act ten times more bratty after that just to push your buttons and make you put him on his place again.

some daan marcoh doodles around some dialogue bits I hit in game haha - gave me some thoughts on how one could think of daan if you only bumped into him at certain points?
I don't remember the lines exactly but there were a few like this?
'Are you moving on? I guess we'll split ways here.'
'Someone has figure out how to treat these people...'
'You were very heroic stepping in there.'
'In the dark, your thoughts can really get to you out here...'
'Am... I... still a good man? Or...'

forbidden fruit (g.suguru)
suguru used to share grapefruit with you after class.
it was a simple thing. you both would wait for at the same bus stop, him catching the first and you catching the second. one day your stomach happened to growl especially loudly and the rest was history.
he was popular enough to get at least a few gifted to him during the months where they were ripest, maybe from different people or maybe not. the details never mattered all that much to you whenever he offered you half of one.
the smell of april showers always mixed in with the aroma of the peels, zesting the air with citrus.
he always peeled them so delicately, even targeting the patchy white pith that latched itself to the meat of the fatty fruit. he said he wasn’t a fan of the texture. that the extra time it took to scratch and strip the extra skin off was worth it.
you never had the patience for it. it might have been why he offered to peel them so often. he made them look and feel like such a gentle fruit.
“i used to be able to eat these whole all on my own as a kid,” he said one afternoon. “now, if i eat more than half my stomach gets upset.”
he splits the fruit in two, his thumbs digging, forcing juice to pool into the crevices of his fingers and lines of his palms. a pool of it stains the laps of your uniforms by the time suguru’s bus arrives. he leaves you with the corners of your lips tangy and licked wet.
"i used to mistake them for oranges," you included internally.
it felt embarrassing to say aloud. the words would have left your mouth stupidly as each memory of him expertly dodging your friendly questions tainted the skin of your fingertips. keeping you at an arm's length, stretching just close enough to offer you something.
he would have laughed. you might have smiled naively, glancing down to the remaining slice pinched between your stained pointer and thumb before popping it into your mouth.
you huffed a breath out of your nose sharply, cheeks sapped by his contagious inclusivity. he had a way of making you feel part of something greater, even if it were for just a few moments at a time.
for weeks you watched him: the way he licked juice off his plump lips, the way he styled his hair, the way his legs spread whenever he sat down, and how he always perched his backpack on his lap; you felt included to view all these little antics.
you wondered if—during all that time—he noticed things about you too.
the last time the two of you share fruit is anticlimactic. your guard is down. you don't even find out that he'll be gone until the new school year starts and a week of you alone at that bench passes.
you suck at the nectar on your hands messily, turning your head towards the road after hearing the sound of tires rolling through gravel.
the last thing you remember is seeing the back of his head. your eyes drifting to the closed fist at his side, a grapefruit peel peeking out of the crevice of his palm.

I can see your whole history in your eyes. You were born with nothing. So you've had to struggle and connive and claw your way to power. But true power, the divine right to rule, is something you're born with. The fact is, they don't know which one of us is going to be sitting on that throne and which of us is going to be bowing down. But I know, and you know.
while azula’s speech to long feng in this scene is indisputably iconic and powerful, it is also blatantly wrong. azula cites “the divine right to rule” as her prerogative to take the earth kingdom throne over long feng in their vie for power, but the divinity of the monarchy is a hollow justification for the existence of any given monarchy in the first place, not some ontological imperative that demands certain families seize and maintain power. centuries ago, azula’s ancestors claimed power over the fire nation, and her belief system is the product of the rhetoric they created after the fact to justify their power and influence over the state, and some time later, sozin’s imperialist doctrine that it is also the fire nation’s prerogative to colonize other states beyond their accepted borders. what makes this moment so effective is that azula truly believes the imperialist rhetoric she spouts in this intimidating monologue, as it was the creed she was born into – but as we are plainly shown throughout the show, her belief system is wrong, and she possesses no inherent, divine superiority over others. her facade of power, strength, and domination ultimately guards an empty myth, a lie that nearly destroyed the entire world.
BUT.
out of context, her words are not entirely wrong.
you've had to struggle and connive and claw your way to power
but true power
the divine right to rule
is something you're born with
unlike in our world, wherein the existence of divine power(s) cannot ever be truly proven, the spirit world not only demonstrably exists, but is eminently accessible. only because of aang’s century-long stasis in the iceberg was there ever any doubt of the avatar’s return, reducing the spiritual/cultural/political/global significance of the avatar to a myth, and plunging the world into unrest, chaos, and despair. but the world of avatar itself spans a vast history, in which aang’s era is merely a blip. he is but one reincarnation is the vast line of avatars, the bridge between the human and spirit worlds, the bringer of balance, chosen by the spirits. if anyone has an ontological, divinely-necessitated influence over the world, it is not the fire nation royal family: it is, quite plainly, the avatar.

~ Happy Simblr Gratitude Day! ~
I didn't realize how much I had to say thank you for until I started working on this post. It's all probably going to be incredibly cheesy but in the few years I've been on here there have been so many things that I'm grateful for. When I joined a whole two years ago now (wow it went so fast!) I was incredibly lonely, shy, and very socially anxious. Despite still being all of those things being here has introduced me to a whole community that was more kind and caring than I could have ever hoped to find 😊
Soooo on to some shout outs...
To Many of the Simblrs I've Loved Before: To call out as many people as I can making awesome content... @oswanily, @resurrectonomitron, @p1x1e-simsm, @pixelnrd, @bastardtrait, @servegrilledcheese, @sojutrait, @gloomlet, @saltybluffs, @sonicblooms, @simmingonthelow, @papiermaker, @wildmelon, @rebouks, @neighborhoodstories, @seokolat, @heartblobs, @deathbypufferfish, @simelune, @d4isywhims, @carousel-of-sims, @lovecidik, @noeyinthemist, @windslar, @dreamlandiasims, @buglaur, @thebramblewood, @aheathen-conceivably, @loveryss, @druidberries, @kashisun, @rainymoodlet, @sasaofastora, @come-hell-or-high-water, @panicsimss, and @simsandgiggles. You're all so amazing! 🥰
To the Sims Groups: I joined several Discord servers this year and I'm not very good at it, and I'll try to be more active next year, but I've appreciated the communities you've built and I got to find a lot of new blogs and awesome people because of it, so thank you @nexility-sims @thewoodslegacy @300yearschallenge @simstrashkingdom @crownsofesha @lynzishell @sirianasims @salemssimblr @simlishpiadina and @buttertrait.
To Some of my First Followers: I've never gotten a chance to thank some of the people who've been following my posts since the beginning. You made me want to keep creating while also being talented creators yourselves! I'll never forget seeing that such talented people thought my posts were worthy of liking, so thank you @lalunebleue @akitasimblr and @minty-plumbob for always being here.
To Everyone Who Interacted with My Blog In Any Way: Thank you for every ask, like, comment, reblog, everything. Even if it was only on one post it made me incredibly happy and I'm so grateful you took the time to look at my sims. 😊
I'm sure I forgot some people (and tumblr limited my tags so I ran out of room), so, to anyone I forgot/didn't get to mention, thank you so so much and to anyone who might not have gotten a mention today you are beloved as well and your presence in the community is still seen.
I'd also like to give a final thank you to @armoricaroyalty for setting up Simblr Gratitude day! It's been such a wholesome day so thank you and know that you're amazing as well~!
I could say so much more about everyone I mentioned but it's already gotten really long 😅. Know that you're all so insanely talented and I'll never not feel lucky to be a part of this community.
Thank you~ ❤️

just leave me your stardust to remember you by
[ ID: A digital illustration of Hunter from The Owl House. He is in his season three design, after the events in Thanks to Them. He is standing facing right, looking down at his hands that are out in front of him. He looks upset, and there are tears in his eyes. In his hands, a stream of green and yellow light orbs (similar to the ones flapjack turned into in Thanks to Them) float upwards, out of the drawing. End ID. ]

Hey y'all! Slightly weird question, but you know I love making and giving themed gift sets:
Do you have any recommendations for board books or picture books with a sunshine or lemonade kind of theme?
The set so far is a pink and orange and yellow quilt, a plushie sun, and a pair of pink and yellow baby booties with lemon slices all over them. It's good as-is, but I think if I can find a book to tie them all together it'd be even better

collected the outfits ive actively designed for morro(not just slapped together without planning)
first one is his canon gi, colour corrected,
that i only ended up using in his initial arrival pages of @juniorjago oops lol. Ill probably use it for flashback stuff to morros babby years
second one is what i designed for him to wear in the post where he apologises to the kids for being a shit
third one is a failed design(yay!) where it was meant to be just. some clothes he threw on, but it looked too. formal? worky? so sCREW IT. he gets a new gi at some point in juniorjago! The fourth is what i ended up going with for this next arc that will EVENTUALLY come about.
