Genuinely, this is among the most disturbing sentences in Dracula. It invokes the field of battle, with thousands upon thousands lying wounded in the fields at night, and then the last thing they know is an unstoppable force draining what little they had left. The imagery of a giant bat, or a dark form slinking through the war field is chilling in itself

As they already said in the @re-dracula server, Dracula considers his natural place to be the "top of the food chain" (I have added the link for the post below). The only thing that matters to him is himself; everyone else is subservient to him. He can go all the way to fulfil his own needs. It is in such a manner he establishes himself as a "boyar and master".

What is particularly chilling is one need not look among vampires for such characters. Humans themselves are capable enough for that.

DRACULA DAILY , MAY 8TH. CHAPTER 2 , JONATHAN HARKER’S JOURNAL.

I only slept a few hours when I went to bed, and feeling that I could not sleep any more, got up. I had hung my shaving glass by the window, and was just beginning to shave. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder, and heard the Count's voice saying to me, "Good-morning." I started, for it amazed me that I had not seen him, since the reflection of the glass covered the whole room behind me. In starting I had cut myself slightly, but did not notice it at the moment.

I was listening to May 8th, while baking - and as I was listening I ended up accidentally cutting myself. The knife I used was the wretched thing that has done the mischief. It is a foul seax of man’s vanity! I was tempted to open the not so heavy window and throw it out of spite, but alas - it wouldn’t have shattered like the foul bauble would have. Thus, I simply washed the blood of and cleaned my small wound instead.

The Beatles' restored 1970 documentary "Let It Be" will be released soon

The restoration of the painting was carried out by the team of Peter Jackson, who presented the three-part documentary Get Back to the world a year ago. "Let It Be" in improved quality will be released on Disney+ on May 8. This date is sure to be a significant day for the fans of the band.

Michael Lidsey-Hogg's film was not only dusted off, but also restored by Peter Jackson's Park Road Post Production studio using the same technology as "Get Back." The frames in it will look and sound more lively.

"I am very pleased that Michael's film 'Let It Be' has been restored and finally re-released after being unavailable for decades," Jackson told the press. "I was very lucky to have access to Michael's excerpts from "Get Back", and I always thought that "Let It Be" was necessary to complete the story of "Get Back".
